Bosc Pear shawl pattern

Hello dear friends!
I would like to introduce my newly published Bosc Pear shawl pattern, inspired by the yarn color which reminds me yellow-brown colors colors of Bosc pears.


It is an asymmetric triangular shawl / scarf worked sideways with eyelet stripes and textured edge.

Size: One size, easily adjustable.
Sample shawl size: 59” (150 cm) wingspan and 20” (50 cm) deep in the widest point.
Made with Wolle’s Yarn Creations Color Changing Cotton 100 gr, Curry colorway.

Pattern is available in English, German and Russian.

Through The Seasons

Through The Seasons Mystery Knit-A-Long is finished.

Yarn: 1 skein (393 m / 430.0 yds) of Araucania Itata Solid (Fingering / 4 ply, 70% Wool, 15% Bamboo, 15% Silk)
Needle: US 6 - 4.0 mm
Size: 11 body rpts, 59” x 25.5” (150 x 65 cm) after blocking

Scalloped Triangle Shawl

One more crochet shawl to show that I made for my friend birthday gift :)

 

Scalloped Triangle - free pattern on Ravelry
Yarn: about 990 yds / 900 m of  Noro Kirameki Singles, 50 grams = 495 yds / 453 m ; 004, Meadowlands colorway (Lace / 2 ply , 60% Rayon, 25% Nylon, 10% Wool, 5% Cashmere)
Hook: 2.5 mm

I used the 1-st ball as is.  The 2nd ball was divided into 2 colors repeats to make every color stripe wider.

It will be a triangular shawl worked in one piece from center back to the bottom edge. Lace pattern combination inspired by the seasons changes.

Skills: knit, purl, basic lace knowledge, stretchy bind-off.

Materials:
  • yarn: 365 yds / 328 m - 836 yds / 752 m of lace, light fingering or fingering weight yarn (Table included).
  • recommended needles: lace wt - US4 / 3.5 mm, light fingering wt - US5 / 3.75 mm, fingering wt - US6 / 4 mm.   
Sample shawl size: 65”/165 cm wingspan, 25 ½” /65cm deep (11 body repeats) made with 430 yds / 390 m (100 gr) of fingering weight yarn. Easily customizable (Table included).

The pattern instruction is written and charted.
Pattern pages are Landscape oriented, please print it in Landscape mode not in Portrait

Wild tulips shawl - pattern

Hello all in new year!
I'm so sorry to stay away from my blog for a long time. Most my activity has moved to Instagram for now so you can follow me there -> my Instagram 
I'll try to keep blog updated as soon as possible.

For me this year starts with a new pattern publication - Wild Tulips shawl on Ravelry.
Wild Tulips is a triangular shawl with lace floral motif pattern worked in one piece from the center back to the bottom edge.
Size: Sample shawl is about 66” (168 cm) wingspan and 31” (78 cm) deep (13 body repeats). Easily customizable (Table included).
Skills: knit, purl, basic lace knowledge, stretchy
bind-off.
Materials: lace / light fingering /fingering weight yarns are suitable.
Average yarn utilization is 440-840 yds (Table included)
Pattern Instruction is written and charted.  

I made 2 samples for this shawl pattern.
1) Teal tulips
 

Yarn:  LitYarn 100% Linen, 100 grams = 656 yds / 600 m in light teal color (Light Fingering / 3 ply , 100% Linen)
Needle: US 5 - 3.75 mm
Finished size: about 66” (168 cm) wingspan and 31” (78 cm) deep

2) Burgundy Tulips
 

Yarn:  Valley Yarns 2/14 Alpaca Silk, 67 grams = 520 yds / 476 m in burgundy color (Lace / 2 ply , 80% Alpaca, 20% Silk)
Needle: US 4 - 3.5 mm
Finished size: about 67" (170 cm) wingspan and 27 1/2" (70 cm) deep

Привет всем в новом году!
Мне очень жаль, что блог обновляется нечасто, т.к. в основном вся моя активность перенеслась в Instagram
Буду стараться обновлять блог регулярно.

Этот год начинается для меня с публикации нового дизайна - Wild Tulips shawl (Дикие тюльпаны).
Шаль классической треугольной формы с ажурным узором, напоминающим бутоны тюльпанов.
Я связала 2 шали-образца для этого дизайна.
1) Teal tulips - из тонкого льна такого сложного зелено-голубого цвета, который вышлядит по разному взависимости от освещения.
2)  Burgundy Tulips - из альпаки с щелком, нежной и невесомой цвета вина (очень похож на цвет marsala - цвет 2015 года по Pantone) 
Эта шаль отправилась в мой магазин на Etsy

Project of the year!
Only Time shawl test knit for Svetlana Loginova aka Konfetti on Ravelry.
Great pattern! I love the result.
Shawl pattern is based on traditional Orenburh patterns slightly adapted for today use.

Leaf Garland Shawl pattern

My newest shawl design Leaf Garland Shawl pattern has been published today on Knit Picks web site and Ravelry  :)

Yarn: Knit Picks Lindy Chain  140 grams  = 504 yds / 460 m , color Celery (Fingering / 4 ply, 70% Linen, 30% Cotton, 180 yds / 165 m in 50 gram)
Needle: US 6 - 4.0 mm
Finished size: 140x70 cm / 55” x 27”


Leaf Garland shawl is a triangular shawl worked bottom up with asymmetric leaf lace pattern.
Available in two versions:
Version 1: asymmetric leaf lace border with eyelets body
Version 2: asymmetric leaf lace stripes throughout the shawl.
Size: 55” x 27” / 140 x70 cm, easily customizable (instruction provided).
You can finish your shawl when you get the desired shawl size or run out of yarn.
