Bosc Pear shawl pattern

Hello dear friends!
I would like to introduce my newly published Bosc Pear shawl pattern, inspired by the yarn color which reminds me yellow-brown colors colors of Bosc pears.

It is an asymmetric triangular shawl / scarf worked sideways with eyelet stripes and textured edge.

Size: One size, easily adjustable.
Sample shawl size: 59” (150 cm) wingspan and 20” (50 cm) deep in the widest point.
Made with Wolle’s Yarn Creations Color Changing Cotton 100 gr, Curry colorway.

Pattern is available in English, German and Russian.

Scalloped Triangle Shawl

One more crochet shawl to show that I made for my friend birthday gift :)

Yarn: about 990 yds / 900 m of  Noro Kirameki Singles, 50 grams = 495 yds / 453 m ; 004, Meadowlands colorway (Lace / 2 ply , 60% Rayon, 25% Nylon, 10% Wool, 5% Cashmere)
Hook: 2.5 mm

I used the 1-st ball as is.  The 2nd ball was divided into 2 colors repeats to make every color stripe wider.

Through The Seasons Mystery Knit-A-Long

Sample shawl size: 65”/165 cm wingspan, 25 ½” /65cm deep (11 body repeats) made with 430 yds / 390 m (100 gr) of fingering weight yarn. Easily customizable (Table included).

Chicken Egg Warmer

Accidentally made this chicken for Easter since I found the tutorial which was easy even for me :) It's so cute :)

Внезапно сшила такого цыпленка, т.к. нашла туториал легкий даже для меня :) По-моему, получилось мило :)

Мои комментарии и изменения описаны ниже.

1. Materials: vintage cotton fabric (can I say "antic" for fabric from 50th? :) ), felt, iron-on interfacing.

Материалы: винтажная хлопковая ткань (можно ли назвать "антик" ткать из 50х? :) ), фетр, клеевой флизелин (?)

2. Pattern says "Seam allowance is included with these templates" but I recommend to add 1/4" (0.5 cm) extra for seam allowance (since completed egg warmer turned out too small for large eggs).

Put interfacing on the wrong sides of body pieces. 

I made beak and cockscomb from felt and sewed them on right side, so I made them smaller then mentioned in the pattern (seam allowance is not needed). 

В оригинальном описании указано, что припуски на швы уже включены в выкройку, но я рекомендую добавить еше 0,5 см припук на шов, т.к. цыпленок получается маловат для крупных яиц.

Я делала клюв и гребень из фетра со швом по лицевой стороне, поэтому я уменьшила из на величину припуска на шов. 

3. Sew all parts together.
Сшиваем все части вместе.

4. Fold lower part of the body inside.
Завернуть нижнюю часть внутрь.

5. Done :) Ooops, I forgot about the eyes...
Готово :) ой, забыла про глаза...

Blocks & Squares Scarf - free pattern

Blocks & Squares - easy to knit long textured unisex scarf :) 

Size: One size. Easily adjustable.
Sample scarf measurements:
Width: 8 ½” (21 cm)
Length: 70 ½” (180 cm) relaxed after blocking.

Materials: 
Yarn: about 440 yds / 400 m of worsted weight wool or wool blends yarn.
Needles: US7/4.5 mm; US6/4.0 mm
Stitch markers (optional).

Duo Chevron Cowl - free pattern

Hi! :)
Fall is here. So we need more warmth and brightness.
Meet easy colorful free knitting pattern - Duo Chevron cowl.

Duo Chevron Cowl is perfect chance to use worsted weight yarn leftovers. Less than 1/2 skeins of each color needed.
The cowl is worked in the round from warm and soft wool (or wool blend) yarn. Fast and fun knit and good gift project :)

Size: One size. Easily adjustable.

Finished measurements:
Circumference: 23 ½” / 60 cm relaxed; width: 8 ½” / 21 cm

Materials: 
Worsted weight wool or wool blends yarn:
Color A (purple) - about 80 yds/72 m
Color B (pink) - about 80 yds/72 m
Needles: US7/4.5 mm, US6/4.0 mm circular needle (24”).

Pattern has a small difference with the photo. I decided to add one more opposite color garter ridge on the every edge (as on cowl body).

Crazy orange socks

I don't know where was my eyes at that time when I bought this yarn :))) Really crazy colorway. Yarn was waiting for project about 1 year. I've chosen simple and stretch stitch pattern for these toe-up socks.

Не знаю, где были мои глаза, когда я купила эту пряжу :)))  Сумасшедшая расцветка. Пряжа ждала свой проект около года. Я выбрала простой и эластичный узор для этих носочков. Связаны с мыска.

One more Willow Cowl

I bought this yarn in local yarn store more then a year ago...
And at last I've found what is be better to knit :)))
One more Twisted Willow Cowl in large size.

Yarn: 3 skeins = 369 yads (337 m) of King Cole Merino Blend DK (DK / 8 ply, 100% superwash wool, 123 yds/112 m in 50 gr)
Needle: US 6 - 4.0 mm
Size: L-1 pattern repeat (47" / 120 cm circumference, 9" / 23 cm width after blocking)

Musketeer socks / Мушкетерские носки

The fall cold comes quickly...

So, it's needed to keep feet warm. Meet Porthos socks :) for my DH.

I've used stitch pattern only from  Porthos socks by Caoua Coffee and made toe-up version (I highly recommend this method). 

Yarn: 2 skeins = 436 yds / 400 m) of Valley Yarns Huntington in Navy colorway
Needles: US 0 - 2.0 mm, US 000 - 1.5 mm (for rib)

Осенний холод наступает. Поэтому нужно держать ноги в тепле.
Встречайте носки Портос для мужа :) 

Я использовала только узор от носков Портос дизайнера Caoua Coffee, а сами носки вязала от мыска (очень рекомндую этот способ). 

Пряжа: 2 мотка = 400 метров) Valley Yarns Huntington, цвет темно-синий / нэви
Спицы: 2.0 мм, 1.5 мм (для резинки)

Twisted Willow Bracelet
Size: S [M, L] (shown in size S (green) and L (periwinkle)). Easily adjustable.
Finished measurements:
Length: 6[7, 8] in / 15.2 [17.8, 20.3] cm
Width:  - fingering/DK version: 2 in / 5 cm (shown in green)
            - worsted version: 2.5 in / 6.5 cm  (shown in periwinkle)
Materials:
Yarn leftovers:
- about 23 yds/20 m of  fingering/DK yarn (200-150 yds in 50 gr)
- about 40 yds /35 m of worsted yarn (120-100 yds in 50 gr )
Needles: - US 0/2.0 mm for fingering/DK version
              -  US 1½/2.5 mm for worsted version
1 button as desired. Purchase button after project is complete to ensure a good fit.
Gauge (average): 
 - fingering/DK version: about 9 sts*11 rows  in 1"/ 2.5 cm
 - worsted version: about 7 sts*11 rows  in 1"/ 2.5 cm
Pattern notes:

Finishing and blocking:
Block bracelet to finished measurements, pulling the lace out gently at the sides until it is flat and the pattern is clearly visible.
Use yarn tail from BO to sew button opposite buttonholes.
Weave in ends.

2,5 мм для толстой пряжи
1 пуговица.
Плотность вязания (средняя):
для тонкой пряжи - 9 петель*11 рядов в 2,5 см

Иструкция:
Набрать 8 петель.
Вязать по схеме
       ряды 1-5 один раз,
       ряды 6-15 6[7, 8] раз или желаемое количество раз
       ряды 16-19 один раз.
 Закрыть петли лицевыми.

Завершение и блокировка:
Заблокировать браслет по размерам, слегка растянув так чтобы узор смотрелся ясно и красиво :)
Используйте хвостик пряжи, оставшийся после закрытия для пришивания пуговицы. Спрятать кончики.
