This card was made for the My Favorite Things Guest Designer Sketch Challenge for February. They are so generous with this monthly challenge and win or not, it is FUN to play along!
Here is the sketch:
I used the sketch and my new MFT goodies to make a card for a Dear friend's Aunt who is in Hospice in Holland, Michigan. She really loves the cards my friend makes and displays them in her room. I wanted to add one of mine to her collection and hopefully brighten her day! Here's my card:
I used my new MFT "You're Just My Type" stamp and die set and my new MFT Die-namics Simply Scallops die. I have to say I am a die FREAK and MUST have a die to match every stamp set I purchase! I also really LOVED using the scallop die because it is so much easier than using an edger punch and TRYING to get it all lined up! My new FAV die!
As far as the papers I used, this 6 x 6 Fabulous Simple Stories paper pad which has the cutest designs, as well as my new MFT Cotton Candy paper. I used the patterned paper to make a tiny banner to hang on the twine. I wanted to make it flat for mailing which is always a challenge to me!
I hope you like my card! Let me know what you think!
