Play Date Cafe 22 Color Challenge

I wanted to Play again with this super fun group however my blue is a little different shade than theirs. I HAD to go with it because I wanted to use my LAST piece of my all time favorite designer paper from Crate Paper called Snapdragon. This is a close up of my Delightful Dahlia from PTI.
Edit: I was Play Date Cafe's Cream in our Coffee with this card!
I used SU Sahara Sand for the card and stitched the dp to Pure Poppy from PTI. I embossed a piece for the bottom and punched the edge with the Martha Stewart big scalloped edge punch. I pierced each tiny scallop. Here's the finished card! For kicks I used a Spellbinders Label 1 and a Spellbinders rectangle die cut behind the Dahlia stamped with SU real red. The red leaves are also stamped with real red. I white chalked the flower and the leaves.

Then I couldn't stop myself! Since I made this card for Mother's Day, I decided to make a little box to go with it! The template is from Kelleigh Ratzliff Designs and it's called the wave box.

I repeated the elements - including my all time FAVORITE lace - that I used on my card.

Here they both are together! I think my Mom will like them!
RECIPE:
Ink - SU Real Red, White distressing chalk ink
Paper - Crate Paper Samantha Collection Snapdragon, PTI Pure Poppy and Aqua Mist, SU Sahara Sand
Stamp Sets - PTI Delightful Dahlia, PTI Vintage Labels
Die Cuts - PTI Dahlias, Spellbinders Labels 1 and Rectangles
Ribbon - Venetian Lace Hobby Lobby, PTI Ocean Tides Satin
Magnets - (for box) Basic Grey

Ooh, I think your Mom will love them too! What great colours! I've just ordered that flower from PTI so can't wait to play with it. Both projects are fab and I love how you've done that wavy edge on the box. Thanks for playing along with us over at the Play Date Cafe Challenge this week. Hope you join in on the fun next week too! :o)
