CR84FN 44 - The Spirit of Giving!

So SAD!  This is our last CR84FN Color Challenge for 2011!  We have had SO MUCH FUN bringing you these FAB color challenges but want to give everyone a break for the holidays!  So Come HAVE FUN playing with us one last time in 2011 and then come back January 1, 2012, to see what the New Year brings!  Check out what the Design Team (in my sidebar) plus our WONDERFUL Guest Designer, Mackie from MackieMade Paper Creations has created for YOUR inspiration!  This is Mackie's last week Guest Designing for us and she has just done a FABULOUS job!  Go to her blog and leave her some LOVE!
What YUMMY colors to finish out 2011!

Here's MY card!
Well, it's not really MY card because I CASED a card sent to me by Barb at Barb's Boys Inspired.  I wanted to pay tribute to her Kindness and Generosity and say a big Thank You to Barb in my last post of 2011 for the CR84FN Color Challenge.
(Long story.  I had just gotten back from CKC Houston and in my goodies I had received this mini scrapbook in a box for Cancer Awareness.  I was surfing blogs and read that one of our loyal CR84FN followers was a breast cancer survivor so I randomly emailed her and asked if she would like the scrapbook and if so I would mail it to her.  She said Yes and I did!  I was expecting NOTHING in return.  I was just trying to find a good home for it.  Well shortly after, I received the most LOVELY Thank You card and this Skipping Stones stamp set!  WOW!  What a Happy surprise!  Not necessary at all but it so touched my heart!  We are now blog friends and I wanted to share how SWEET Barb is with everyone!

Here is a close-up of the big beautiful bloom!  I stamped it out twice, clear embossed the inked image, layered the smaller bloom I cut out, and added the pink pearls, just like Barb's card!  I also ran the card through with the woodgrain impression plate before I added some extra embellies and the flower.  I also LOVE how Barb stamped the rose image and cut out the tiny flower and added it on the sentiment notebook piece of paper.
Here is the card from Barb I received in the mail.  Isn't it FAB!?!  I couldn't get her design out of my head so I asked her if I could copy it!
Her color combo is one of my FAVS and from a past CR84FN color challenge!
Here is the Skipping Stones stamp set she sent me!  GORGEOUS, with so many possibilities, doesn't even begin to describe it!  THANK YOU again Barb!  Now I challenge all of you to play with the colors this week, make something pretty, and perform a Random Act of Kindness!  Pass it on!  I am so not sure if it is better to give or receive but I can assure you they BOTH feel pretty darn GOOD!

LOVE this colour combo and your take on it is GORGEOUS as is Barb's card that she sent you. What a FABULOUS LO and STUNNING stamp set! She sounds VERY sweet and thoughtful! I think it's so great when a person gives and despite the fact that they expect nothing in return, they end up receiving in the end...I love to return kindness when it comes my way!

Hugs,
Naomi

This is just so beautiful! I have a stamp almost identical to that, but mine is a wood mounted stamp by Hero Arts! I love stamping with it. Love the soft colors! So soothing!
