CR84FN20 ~ Any Occasion

It's another inspiration from Embrace Life Photography, the BEST photographer in California!  This week, my card for CR84FN20 is a literal interpretation on the photo.  I just fell in LOVE with the hanging topiary and wanted to make a card based on this image.  For additional inspiration, check out the cards from the other members of the CR84FN Design Team listed in my sidebar as well as the card from our March Guest Designer ~ Deb Hickman!

I used my McGill punch to punch out all those little flowers.  I attached them to three graduated circles I punched out of the same purple paper.  The pearls in the flower centers were white but I colored them with my Copic RV34 marker to make them lavendar.

The pale plum background paper was embossed with my PTI woodgrain impression plate.  I stamped text onto vellum, dusted it with clear embossing powder, and then heat embossed it to make sure it didn't smear on the vellum.

Here's a close up of the largest flower ball.  You can also see the pretty green ribbon and bow.
I hope you like my card!
RECIPE:
  • Ink - SU Perfect plum with clear embossing powder
  • Paper - SU Pale Plum, PTI Royal Velvet, Vellum
  • Punch - McGill
  • Ribbon - SU, Venetian Lace - Hobby Lobby by the yard
  • Impression Plate - PTI Woodgrain
