Salman Khan gifted a flat to Asin ?

Actor Salman Khan who is gearing up for the release of Kick has apparently gifted a 3 BHK flat to his co-star Jacqueline Fernandez. This has led to an old rumor about Salman earlier gifting an apartment to Asin to resurface. Reports have it that Salman who acted with Asin in London Dreams gifted a similar flat to his co-star.

A source close to Asin has however clarified stating  "It has been many years since the release of London Dreams and it’s strange how this has come up again. Salman and Asin are good friends but he has definitely not gifted her a flat. She has all the legal papers to prove that.Asin started her career at an early age. She’s the proud owner of her investments. It’s unfair to give credit for her hard work to others.”

VIjay is like Salman Khan - Narendra Modi

Fans here is the exclusive Times of India report on what happened when Vijay meet Modi. Here are the extracts. "When Modiji expressed his desire to meet Vijay, the actor immediately agreed. Actually, this meeting should have happened when he met Rajini in Chennai. But at that time, Vijay was not in the city. This time, Vijay made it a point to meet Modi in Coimbatore and unlike what most people say, there was absolutely no political motive behind this meeting."

Giving out more details, the source says, "The meeting lasted for about 30 minutes. When Vijay entered the hotel room, Modi hugged and kissed him and gave him a warm welcome. Vijay was surprised when Modi spoke to him about his films. In particular, Modi spoke about Vijay's Nanban, the Tamil remake of 3 Idiots. The BJP leader appreciated the actor for his acting skills and spoke about his films from the past two decades. He compared Vijay to Salman Khan and said like Salman, the southern star too had earned the affection of scores of kids."

The source also adds, "Modiji also appreciated Vijay for the social service activities that he has been doing all these years." The actor, we are told, was pleasantly surprised about how much Modi knew about him. "In fact, it was evident that Vijay didn't expect Modi to know so much about him. The meeting ended with Vijay wishing him for the elections."

Salman Khan's Controversial Comment on A.R.Rahman !

The King of Controversy Salman Khan has done it yet again, at the the Launch of A.R.Rahman's Raunaq there was hostile interaction between Salman and A.R.R.

The dabaang hero made a late entrance mid-way to the event and got on the podium and praised 48 Year old actor Sibal and said "Kapil sir is a great lyricist."

Salman's next comment on ARR however led to all new controversy, "You all know what an average artist Rahman is. Right?" said Salman and immediately the ever-present smile on Rahman's face vanished.

Thanks to Rahman's evident displeasure, Salman quickly tried to salvage the situation saying, "There are only two things in common between him and me, which is Jai Ho." Rahman did not look impressed by Salman's feeble attempt at humour.

Salman then proceeded to request Rahman to work with him. "Hamaare saath kab kaam karoge yaar?" he asked. Rahman maintained a poker face.

A few minutes later, Salman stretched out his hand to the much-respected music director, but not before bragging that he (Salman) is the best person to inaugurate the music album. Rahman did not reciprocate the gesture and kept his hand glued to his side. Moments later, the two posed for pictures with Sibal where Rahman tried to present a cheerful face for the media.

According to an eyewitness present at the event, too much should not be read into Salman's statements. "That's his sense of humour. As for Rahman not stretching out his hand, Salman was standing adjacent to him so it is possible that he didn't see the gesture," he reasoned.

However, another source agreed, "what happened was definitely not in good taste".

Rahman had earlier shot off a legal notice to Salman for using the title Jai Ho, claiming that he had exclusive copyright over the term. Rahman however later gave his NOC, which facilitated the release of the film. Perhaps it was that past altercation over the title name that prompted Salman to be little cheeky with AR Rahman on stage.

Salman Answers if He is the Rajinikanth of Bollywood ?

The Dabang Hero, Salman Khan in trailer launch of his Jai Ho movie addressed the recent chant of several fans calling him the Rajinikanth of Bollywood. The actor however said "I do not consider myself that way (Rajinikanth of Bollywood). As a person, if I come close to him, I would be really happy."

Directed by Sohail Khan, 'Jai Ho' is the story of a man who fights against injustice.

"I stand for justice every say. I consider myself as a common man as I do things which a common man does in day-to-day life. Like I ride bicycle, rickshaw, I prefer taking fresh air while travelling in car, etc. Whatever I am today...a superstar is because of my fans. If they wouldn't have loved my first film 'Maine Pyaar Kiya,' then I wouldn't be here" Said Salman

The film is interestingly a remake of Chiranjeevi's 2006 film 'Stalin' which was directed by AR Murugadoss.

The actor also confessed that he was indeed very close to getting married in the past and but it was the girls who pulled out at the last moment. Bollywood star, The Dabaang Khan is all set to romance 10 heroines in his next outing. Salman Khan who played a Casanova called Prem in Boney Kapoor's No Entry in 2005 has allotted dates for the sequel titled No Entry Mein Entry.

The film is expected to go on floors from 2014. Salman Khan will reenact his Prem Role. The biggest buzz about the movie is that Salman will have none less than 10 girls with him. Anil Kapoor will play the other male lead in the movie.

The original movie had Esha Deol playing Salman's wife and Bipasha Basu playing a sex-siren. The names of girls who are being cast will be officially announced soon.
