As You Like It Challenge (DT) Favourite Non-Birthday Occasion

The calendar says it is Thursday, so unless I have turned over two days earlier in the week I am assuming it really is and that means it is a new challenge theme from the As You Like It team.

This time around the theme is
Your Favourite Non-Birthday Occasion
and tell us why!

Thinking this through, I suppose my favourite non-birthday occasion is actually a birthday really.
I love new baby cards, you can get away with unbearable amounts of cuteness and
nobody actually minds!

So, for this simple make I have used

I feel like I spent a lifetime on those petals, but the image has been coloured up with Distress Inks (ReInkers) and Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens

Sentiment was done on my Brother label machine

Ribbons or Buttons (DT) As You Like It

Hello peeps!  Are you still enjoying this ridiculously hot and sweaty summer?  You might have guessed that I've fallen out of love with it, just a little, and am looking forward to autumn!

Anyhoo, while we still have the long daylight hours it means you can craft more and
you might like to join in with the new AS YOU LIKE IT challenge and
the theme for this fortnight is Ribbons or Buttons (please tell us about your choice)

Regular readers will know that I have an allergy to ribbons, they never do what I want them to (of course it's not me being cack-handed!) and as for tying bows with them, phah!!  So, my choice would have to be buttons.  Sometimes I push the boat out and use real ones, but if the card is being posted then I can even fake buttons (and often do)

I think this Lili of The Valley stamp may be called Special Delivery
and I believe it has long been retired (which is a shame, it's soooooo cute)
Distress Inks (ReInkers) used as watercolours
MFT sentiment set, which is also retired
Star shaped punch, and button holes (wonky) made with Japanese Screw Punch
MFT 6x6 Dots & Stripes Bright

Our Sponsor for this challenge is (who else could it be)

£10 voucher
crafty ribbons

So, that's me and my fake buttons, I do hope you find the time to join us

Hugs
