Hiya everyone! By now you know I love cart sales, so it's no surprise that I was thrilled to finally get to visit the Flawless Hot Summer Nights Cart Sale & Hunt. They have exclusive items for $100L or less from each vendor, and the hunt is for popsicles on or near each cart that contain free goodies. Most are a 3 color combo, I seem to recall at least one variation but they all have that traditional popsicle shape with a wooden stick, and look like a great refreshing idea for the heat :) So let's see some of the generous gifts you can find in those treats!
Summer certainly means bathing suits, and this one has an American flair for the upcoming 4th of July holiday. This is the prize from one of two popsicles at the TD cart, and I accessorized with the prize from J&A Rock Culture. Their sunglasses look unisex or maybe intended for the guys primarily, but I think their style is an interesting pairing for the feminine bikini. By the way, that bathing suit is 2 separate mesh pieces, each in standard mesh sizes.
The other prize from the TD cart is this fantastic dress, hotter than a two dollar pistol! The stripes really catch the eye, and that style is wonderful with the off the shoulder sleeves and short tight skirt. I added the Charlisse earrings from LUMINESSE, since every great outfit deserves a touch of sparkle.
Bikinis are a staple for summer, so it's good to see another gift in a very different style than the first one I shared, since variety is the spice of Second Life :) This cute polka dot swimsuit is our prize from the Jinx cart, and now I can't stop thinking of the phrase "itsy bitsy teeny weeny yellow polka dot bikini". I added the earrings from *N@N@* and their cart's popsicle, as the bead and swirl seem to work well with the dots of the bathing suit.
How about another smoking hot dress? This amazing gift from KL Couture is called Irma in lime, and the plunging neckline is sure to turn heads. It's also a perfect frame for the elegant necklace from Beloved Jewelry, which is in one of their popsicles, and the matching earrings are in the other. I can easily see matching them with plenty of other things too, so they'll get a lot of use.
Last goodies for the night, we have a gorgeous dress from SlackGirl called Keysha. The adorable ring is the prize from Look*Me and picks up the various shades of pink in the dress really nicely. We can always count on the Flawless cart sales for bargains and freebies.
Nail note of the night: {Posh Pixels} has a Slink HUD in their cart's popsicle for us, and that's what I used for all the photos tonight. There are several different manicures on there, with abstract designs like fractals, and a variety of colors can be seen in each. Well worth picking up! My hair is one I've previously blogged from Truth Hair's discount room, Eden, with the flowers you can change colors or completely turn off as I had for most of the photos.

Hiya everyone! I decided to stop by the Flawless Cart Sale and Hunt, and as always I am thrilled that I did. Not only do we have the pleasure of exploring the bargains on the carts, but we get to search for poppies with free gifts in them. Not all of the poppies are on the carts themselves, but most of them seemed to be. Let's have a peek at what I found in some of them :)
If you're feeling formal, this beautiful gown is a great find. This is from .:KosmO:. and is called Dhiaga, and I used one of two prizes from Celtic Wolf which are both nail HUDs. This one is called Red Orchid and has several different background colors, but I went with the black to match the dress.
This was fun because I got to show off several gifts in the same photo. The top is the inside the poppy from ORQUIDEA, called Gypsy Sunshine, and I matched it up with the lovely Shayna leather skirt from Karma. Together it feels like fun meets edgy to me, and I'm simply crazy about the style of the skirt. I added the earrings from Luminesse, they are very pretty ladybugs in yellow and emerald that add to the springtime feeling. The nails are from the other Celtic Wolf prize, Brushed Metal, with a nice variety of metallic shades.
Here is a quick peek at the poppy present from Shady Ladies, an adorable shirt called Birdhouse in your Soul, this is system layers but comes with appliers. The crazy bird lady in me could not resist this :)
This outfit is possibly my favorite from the entire event, with an 80s vibe and nautical touches, and look at that fun belt! :) The top and skirt are in 2 separate poppies, both from TD, one is on their cart and the other isn't but it is nearby. The bracelet and earrings are two of 3 poppies from *N@N@*, the third being a ring that I am not wearing but it does match the rest of the set, which is called Piece of Spring. For my nails, I chose a pale blue color from the Dulce Secrets gift, Pearl Slink Nail Appliers. There were 7 other pastel shimmery choices, all quite pretty.
If you're still in the mood for something blue, but want something a bit more dressy, how about this beauty from More Than Ever? The dress and the separate belt each come in 6 sizes, and you can leave off the belt if you choose. I really like the touch it adds though. I kept the Dulce Secrets pearl nail polish, it seemed like a natural pairing :)

I really do love cart sales, what a great opportunity for shoppers to find amazing bargains (and pretty red flowers full of freebies in this case!) along with the chance for designers to show their finest work to a new audience along with their faithful fans. I know I'll be back for some more nail HUDs as well as an outfit or two (or three..or more...) before the event is over on May 3rd. You can tell my weaknesses, hehe, and some discounted retail therapy is good for the soul!
