Hunt on Haunted Hill

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I would like to bring your attention to another holiday themed hunt, the Hunt on Haunted Hill 4. It is a dollarbie ($1L each prize) hunt with hidden ghosts at each participating store, just follow the hints on the website to help you find them. We have less than a week remaining for this hunt since it closes on the 31st (Halloween!) so please be sure to collect the prizes you wish as soon as you can. There are other hunts with ghost type hunt objects to find, this one has his/her arms out under the sheet and is 3D rather than a flat image. Some stores have a sample on their sign to click for a hint, which is really helpful in seeing exactly what you are looking for. 

First we have the Waffles prize called *WW* Olive Orange Witchy Dress. It is provided in sizes for eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies, with a short tulip style skirt and tight bodice with spaghetti straps. I like the silhouettes of the witches flying on their brooms across a dusky green sky.

I am a big fan of The Sissy Bar and their style, so it is also a pleasure to share their prize for this hunt with all of you. The outfit is named Hunt on Haunted Hill 4, as they usually do, and consists of a cold shoulder style top with skeletal image on the front as well as a pair of cuffed skinny jeans. The top comes in a fitmesh M size for classic avatars, plus Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine body sizing. The jeans have 5 classic and 5 fitmesh standard sizes for the classic avatar gals, and versions for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies. Some of those had 2 different fits, for example I am wearing the fuller cut Maitreya 2 version here and it is quite flattering. 

For my next look, I visited MadCatCreations where I found a generous ghost who holds 2 prizes inside, one for men and one for women. As a random extra hint, this would explain why you might want to check the mens department and not just the ladies area like I almost did ;) This is their MCC - woman - Haunted Kitty dress, a spooky wrap dress with long sleeves, short skirt, and plenty of Halloween images scattered about a cloudy or foggy backdrop. It is provided in Altamura, Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing. 

[Ari-Pari] also has a ghost waiting for you, with a fantastic exclusive prize tucked inside. This is their Dancing Skeletons Dress V2 - HOHH4 strapless mini, a flirty look that includes sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies. There is also a HUD so you can pick from 8 fun colors, all with a pattern of skeletons getting their groove on that makes me smile. Since they are already dancing, why not add your favorite shoes and bring them to a club?

My final look of the evening is our hunt prize from Artistic.Rage called A.R Spooky Ghost Dress. It has sexy bare shoulders above the layered ruffles of the drop sleeves, and the short skirt has a terrific ruffle too. The playful pattern has some cheerful looking ghosts, who seem to be enjoying their special holiday season. It comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. 

Sundays are usually calm here and today was no exception :) There is one irritating weekly chore that I do each Sunday, and otherwise I was able to relax and catch up on random enjoyable things. There are some exciting things approaching in SL like The Wash Cart Sale starting in early November, so I am eagerly anticipating a new month. Happy Birthday Hunt

Hiya everyone! Tonight we enjoy some hunt prizes for the Happy Birthday Hunt, a $1L gridwide search for small green balloons. This image is on a flat prim, so not a round sphere shape but something that can hide fairly easily which is why the hints on the website are so helpful. That is also where you will find landmarks and some preview pictures, so you can tell what you will be claiming as your very affordable birthday gift :) I am a longtime fan of hunts in SL as a way to see what various stores have to offer and how they interpret the theme if there is one. It shows off the creativity of the designers in their particular style and skill set.

The Sissy Bar has a cheery hunt prize for us with this (TSB) Happy Birthday Hunt High Waist Dress. It includes standard mesh sizes as well as eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine versions. The brightly colored floral pattern looks lovely on the sleeveless top and pleated skirt that falls a bit above the knee.

My next stop was MadCatCreations, where I located the tiny balloon which holds their charming Happy Birthday Hunt prize seen above. I was immediately drawn to the unique hem, slit up to the thigh on one side while draped down to tickle below the knee on the other. The multicolored blossoms of the fabric are terrific, as are the keyhole openings in the front and back of the bodice. This prize comes in sizes for Alice, Altamura, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Legacy Perky, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies.

This soft yellow *WW* Lemon Sherbert Dress is the tasty treat from the balloon at Waffles. It is provided in standard mesh sizes along with versions for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine bodies. The bow accentuates the birthday theme, like a present that is neatly decorated, and the color is delightful for summer.

My final look of the evening comes from Cats n' Kittens Boutique, their sexy CnK: Frosting Set. It consists of the top, micro-panty (to cover the crotch but no straps) and peep toe boots, each sized for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. The sugary pink texture is a fantastic choice for the birthday theme, but don't wait until your birthday/rezday to claim this since the hunt only lasts until the end of August ;)

Hunt Me Baby One More Time

Hiya everyone! Tonight we take a final stroll along the Womenstuff Hunt path, since there are just a few days left of the hunt. I still had plenty I wanted to show you though :) As I have mentioned before, all the prizes are hiding inside red t-shirts for either free or just a single linden dollar, so these are very affordable yet high quality. Many of the prizes, as indicated on the hunt's website, are exclusives for this hunt, which is an extra reason to hurry and claim them. 

Our first stop this evening is Waffles, where you can find their *WW* Toucan Dress ASH inside the hidden $1L red shirt. This strapless mini with sweetheart neckline and ruffled bow adorned with bows has a terrific pattern on the bodice with flowers and toucans. The prize comes in a fitted classic version for traditional avatars, and sizes for eBody Classic, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies.

Be sure to follow the hints for both hidden t-shirts at Entice, as the prizes were designed to be worn together as well as separately. One contains the Entice - We are Young Dress - Blue Leaves, while the other holds their We are Young Bra - Blue Leaves which actually comes in a solid dark blue version as well as the patterned one. All these pieces are free, and include sizes for Freya, Hourglass, and Maitreya mesh bodies. The rear view is particularly interesting, since the bands of whichever bra you wear can be seen beneath the strap of the dress. I am wearing the patterned bra on the left (the straps are visible next to the dress's straps) and the solid blue on the right.

This lovely look is the Sweet Intoxications prize called Leala - Black Tropical. Find that $1L shirt and you can claim this strapless mini with built in belt, sized for eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine bodies. The dark background color really shows off the flowers and greens wonderfully!

I also found a $1L gift at M&M Style, their Dress Savannah which is a long maxi dress with delicate straps that cross in the back. It is included in fitmesh standard sizes as well as eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine versions. I love the colors in this pattern, not to mention the flowers between all the intricate lines.

My final look is two more hunt prizes, both of which I think are perfect for summer whether you wear them together or apart. The bikini is the $1L prize from LEPIDOPTERA, whose name is the scientific term for butterfly, which makes sense with the prize being named }>i<{ MUZA Sunny Bikini & HUD. The top and bottom are each provided in standard mesh sizes plus Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP body sizing. There is also a HUD with a whopping 200 texture options for bra, panties, or both, and lots of customization options! For instance, I clicked the tab for just bra and then clicked the red X in the upper left of the textures, which made the top invisible on the right above so I could better show you my new body art. That would be our free gift from Tamiron Forge, called Tribal Wings Tattoo [TF]. It comes in system/BOM layers and appliers for Omega and Aesthetic mesh bodies, and is easily a unisex tattoo that most of us can enjoy :) The styling almost reminds me of a butterfly because of antennae and a tail (?) but that could be power of suggestion from the bikini's brand. Artwork is meant to be interpreted by whomever appreciates it, so why not? :)

It was a stressful day on a personal level, nothing for anyone to worry about and not health related or anything...just a rehash of an argument with a family member that may never be fully resolved so I have to take lots of deep calming breaths and just move on. In general my family is wonderful, so this single issue is not a dealbreaker. Meanwhile I am looking forward to dinner tomorrow with my parents (neither of whom is part of the argument) and then a busy Saturday. I may need to take a day off from blogging to have a computer issue attended to, but will confirm that when it is definite like when the new fans are actually here in the same building as the computer. Hopping Along Hunt

Hiya everyone! Tonight I was in the mood for some gridwide hunting to start the Easter Weekend, so the Hopping Along Hunt 3 path seemed like an excellent choice. Their purple eggs are $1L each, and you can find prize previews and hints with all the store's landmarks on the hunt website. It is always helpful to have a hunt's website available while you work on it, but especially ones like this one where that is your only source of store locations :) Are you ready to see what the Easter Bunny left in these eggs?

I started the hunt path at Wiccan Wears, claiming this pretty *WW* Amanda Pink Suede Romper for a single linden. It comes in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing, and the soft pastel shade is given an edge with the black trim and lacing at the neckline. 

Waffles has an egg hidden for us too, with a pair of pretty mini dresses tucked inside. Their *WW* Spring Mini Dress Set of Two includes sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique for each shown above. They are loaded with details like the loose bows at the neckline and left hip where the skirt is wrapped over, and the zipper in the back. 

Another store I was excited to visit is [Ari-Pari], since I love their hunt prize which is called Easter Bunny Top & Capris - HAH3. Each piece is provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizes, with a HUD offering 5 colors for each. The tops' textures have tiny dots, while the capris have those tiny dots beneath eggs and bunnies. The style is flirty and flattering, and perfect for this weekend.

~MystRie~ is offering this fun Butterflies & Bunnies Romper as their Hopping Along prize, in springy green with a playful pattern on the main body of the romper. It includes fitmesh standard sizes plus Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh body sizing. There is an elegance to the sheer ruffle and sleeves that really caught my eye.

For my final look of the evening, I visited The Sissy Bar to search for their purple egg. It rewarded me with this adorable dress, named after the hunt, Hopping Along Hunt 3. Its baby blue background has rabbits, carrots, flowers, and more scattered across it, with white ruffles at the neckline and hemline. When you unpack the prize, you will find sizes for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and even a standard fitted version for classic avatars. The egg is hiding with the store's pet, who is not furry like a bunny ;) 

Friday here means dinner at my parents' house, and as long as we are all healthy we are continuing this tradition. We have already discussed that if anyone feels uncomfortable about it or ever feels any illness symptoms, we will cease the visits immediately with no hard feelings. I needed to talk to them about their multiple grocery store visits, but there are 2 main issues there...one is that my dad is intensely stubborn, and the other is that my grandmother's caregiver (my mom is responsible per their contract to provide her with groceries needed to live there 24/7) is not great about telling them ahead of time when she needs things. Maybe my concerns got through to them, but time will tell. Meanwhile I am doing a curbside pickup from the farmers market tomorrow, which is the first time I will be leaving the house other than to go to my parents' for about 3 weeks. Hunting for Spring

Hiya everyone! Tonight I am enjoying another relatively warm evening, so it makes me happy to see that among the new rounds of hunts there is a Spring Hunt :) It is a $1L gridwide hunt so there are lots of different stores participating, and the hunt's website provides links to each location along with preview photos and even hints. Those hints will help you find the yellow rose (just the blossom part, flat prim) hidden by each designer. When you think of spring fashion, do pastel colors and floral patterns come to mind? They do for me, and as you will see in this post, the prizes do not disappoint.

My first look comes from Waffles, whose hunt prizes do appear here on my blog fairly often and with good reason :) This is their *WW* Spring JTZ20 One Sleeve Mini Dress, in a pale green accented with dark green dragonflies and a few eye-catching bronze ones as well. It comes in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP sizing.

Prairie has a lovely prize for us too, their Cassie Dress in baby blue with roses in various shades of pink. I look like I am really enjoying a sweet spring breeze as I show off this pretty prize, which comes in sizes for Altamura, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh bodies.

My next stop was Kat's Clothing Boutique, whose yellow rose holds their ~KCB~ Spring Time dress for us. It has spaghetti straps and a double layered skirt, solid pastel green beneath the cheery pattern filled with flowers of many colors. Cats n' Kittens Boutique has a flirty frock as their hunt prize for us, the CnK: Spring Stars Mini. It is fitted for the Maitreya mesh body, and has tiny golden stars scattered all over the uniquely textured fabric. The triple straps across the back look like a soft elastic that holds the front up as well, and did you notice the long slit on the right thigh? So sexy!

My final look this evening is a strapless floral dress from **Soju** which is simply called Spring Hunt Dress. The creamy background really helps the bright pink, blue, and yellow flowers pop. It is provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing, so several popular mesh bodies are covered in this fun prize.

It was an exciting evening because I got to watch another well-played hockey game, and I have my fingers crossed for tomorrow night's game to be just as fun to watch but with no injuries. I never want to see any player injured, no matter who they play for. I have been trying to plan meals for the next few days, which is turning into a challenge somehow. Leather and Lace

Hiya everyone! Tonight we take a look at some of the prizes from the Leather and Lace Hunt 3, a mature themed $1L gridwide hunt in which we are looking for a BDSM triskelion in black on a silver background. That is a triple spiral design, and there is a sample on the hunt signs in each store. That also clues you in on the theme :) I chose prizes that I felt comfortable sharing, and there are preview photos as well as the landmarks and hints on the website so you can get a good idea of what to expect from each store. Some are a bit more revealing, and all are worth way more than the single linden we are paying for them. For the most part my blog is usually safe for all ages, however this post probably skirts the line just a bit.

Wiccan Wears starts our hunt path with their ~WW~ Zola Outfit - Black prize. The top and skirt are each provided in standard mesh sizes along with versions for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP bodies. It might be helpful if I mention that sometimes while hunting we might find exactly where we expect the prize to be based on the hint, but then can't find it...sometimes it helps to take a deep breath, maybe walk around (upstairs?) and see if something else matches the hint ;) 

Another prize I couldn't resist is the [Ari-Pari] Victoria Corset Set - L&L Hunt 3, which was exclusively designed just for this hunt. Its corset and panties are each provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing, with a HUD offering 6 colors for each and 2 metal choices for the rings where the laces thread into the material (eyelets? grommets?) in the back. The side panels also have lace for the leather and lace theme, so two uses of the same word.

This terrific dress is the female prize from Waffles (there is also a male prize with a different hint) called *WW* Pink Lace Mini Dress. It comes in standard mesh sizes as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP versions, with a sheer layer atop the skirt and a deep slender V in the back. The color reminds me of lilacs, something floral or springlike. 

Be sure to find the hunt object at Changed Seasons, so you can claim their Selena babydoll and sheer lace panties. They each include Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP sizes, and those racy red panties certainly bring the lace of the theme :)

My final look of the night is the prize from The Sissy Bar, their (TSB) Feathered Corset. I suggest using the alpha layer for classic avatars or BOM, otherwise your mesh body's alpha sections on their HUD, to hide the torso since this style really cinches the waist like a corset generally does. It is provided in standard mesh sizes plus eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine versions. The back is tightly laced, and the deep pink color looks terrific scattered with glitter and trimmed at the bottom with the plush feathers. It makes me feel like dancing!

It was a quiet day here, but I have a chiropractor appointment tomorrow that means I will wind up out and about all day probably. It will be a helpful visit though, as my neck has been very sore the past week or so. There are errands I need to run in that general area, so I expect that will mean 5 or 6 stops and trying to get home during rush hour in all that traffic. The Love Hunt

Hiya everyone! Tonight we are exploring the Love Hunt, a gridwide $1L hunt where we are looking for prizes inside red hearts. The hunt object is a flat prim image of a heart, I would say it is on the small side which can make it a challenge to find. However, we have the hints on the website to help us, as well as the landmarks there so we can navigate from store to store. You will see some preview photos too there, so you can get an idea of what you will be collecting as prizes. For tonight's looks, I went with stores I have known for years mixed with a couple that are newer to me, and I think it turned out to be a nice variety.

My first visit was to Grumble, where I found the Fiona Dress-All the Hearts inside their hidden heart. It comes in sizes for Altamura, eBody, Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies, mostly sheer with solid fabric covering the breasts and as built-in panties. The coloring is fascinating, as the front is mostly green then the back is a lovely pinkish purple. 

Next we take a look at the .Princess Stuff. [Pepita Dress], one of the two prizes inside their heart :) The dress is provided in a fitmesh size for classic avatars as well as eBody, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body versions, in a deep pink that is scattered with hearts in various shades. The other part of the prize is a home decor item called Love Gnomes, two friendly gnomes hanging out in a wooden bucket. 

Applique` Chic is one those generous stores who take part in several hunts each month, obviously including this one :) Their prize for us the AC: Speckled Lingerie TLH, whose nightie and panties each come in Maitreya sizes in red and pink. They both have contrasting hearts, and are trimmed with delicate bows, very flattering!

This is one of the stores that is newer to me, Witch Cafe, and I mentioned recently that I was glad to see they were participating in a few hunts this month. Their beautiful Loveletter Gown - Pink is a great reason for my being so happy about it :) Their clothing is all crafted specifically for the Maitreya Lara body, and this prize contains two versions (pattern and plain) with a subtly different look. The patterned is on the left, and you can see the writing on the mini dress beneath the sheer over layer if you look closely. The dress beneath the plain version is a solid color that helps show off the floral texture of the sheer layer nicely. 

For my final look this evening, I located the heart at Waffles to obtain their *WW* Purple Love Off Shoulder Dress. Its deep coloring with scattered sparkles reminds me of the night sky (or a galaxy manicure!) and the style is very flattering with those bare shoulders and short skirt to show off our legs. It comes in sizes for classic avatars (S, M, L) as well as Freya, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous mesh bodies. Sometimes we need to teleport to another floor to find their hunt prizes, but this one is on the same floor you land on when you reach the store.

Today was peaceful, then the evening got more exciting thanks to a hockey game :) I will be watching another tomorrow evening, so we shall see if the results make me as happy. I hope you're all having a terrific evening, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!
