Grumpy Santa Hunt

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post shows off some of the many great $1L prizes from the Grumpy Santa Hunt 7. Can you believe we've been looking for these images of a lump of coal for 7 years now? It has been a pleasure each round, as with all of the Evil Bunny hunts, and I am glad to finally have a chance this month to share some of these treats :)

My first look comes from *Glitter Bunny*, whose coal contains this Sylka Body and Skirt. We can wear the bodysuit with or without the skirt as you can see, and both pieces fit Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies. The suit has fun bows up top, and the skirt is decorated with white fur trim for a festive feeling.

Next I slipped into the GoodVibes HoHoHo Sweater Dress Set which is our generous $1L prize. The sweater dress says "Wishing you a Ho Ho Ho for the Holidays" but of course the font sizes give it a double entendre ;) The back says Holly Jolly, so you can make a seasonal statement coming or going. This outfit is designed for Maitreya and Star bodies, so the dress fits Maitreya, Lara X, and Star, while the boots come in sizes for Maitreya and Star. The hat is unrigged to adjust if needed, and the stockings are BOM layers with both upper and lower parts. 

Keep that seasonal sense of humor going with the prize from The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co. called FEMALE RAGE Tee. The festive pinup girl on the front is surrounded by the wording "All tied up in holiday cheer and female rage" which cracked me up and is a very familiar situation. If you have ever been expected to handle all the cooking or decorating or wrapping simply because you're a woman, you know this feeling and quite possibly met my ex-husband ;) Honestly anyone can get fed up with this time of year though, this just happens to be a shirt designed to fit female bodies in SL. In addition to 5 standard sizes, we can choose from eBody Classic, eBody Reborn, Waifu, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh bodies from the delivery HUD. Pick the one you need now and hang onto the HUD for future reference, as mesh bodies do tend to vary in popularity and you could need a different model someday. I'm wearing the Delizio jeans again here, in black as one of the several (9 I believe offhand) colors in their free fatpack on the marketplace.

With the midnight blue color and dusting of beautiful snowflakes, I think the @AdReNaLiZeD@ Clementine Dark Snow is perfect for solstice time, yule, Christmas, and any outing we wish until spring thaw :) The style makes me happy too, with deep V neckline back and front, laced loosely, and soft ruffled trim on the sleeves and hem. The prize includes eBody Curvy, Erika, Freya, Freya V-Tech, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, V-Tech, Maitreya, Petite, Maitreya V-Tech, Hourglass, Physique, Reborn, and Star mesh body sizing. That really does cover a lot of brands and available mods, making this even more impressive for a single linden dollar.

My final look of the evening is a playful plaid delight from Ink Blots, whose lump of coal holds both male and female prizes for the same low $1L price. Our TGSH7 Female Gift is a black blouse with plaid frills down along both sides of the buttons, and a matching plaid skirt with attached belt, each in sizing for Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous mesh bodies, plus classic M and fitmesh M for each to wear with classic avatars. I do love a diagonal hem like this skirt has, and the blouse reminds me of either a pirate or those old tuxedo shirts from the 70s ;) The good news is this is reworked for a retro yet modern feeling that I am definitely enjoying. I'm laughing about the tux thing because I am mostly too young to remember them, other than seeing my mom's generation of cousins (she was the eldest so most were teens in the 70s) either prom photos or wedding albums with that style. It's a fond memory of a very distinctive time in fashion history.

'Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the blog...I really am trying to infuse holiday spirit here, to boost my own in addition to anyone reading who is celebrating but not quite feeling it. Tomorrow evening I'll be having some gluten free pizza with my parents, so no blog, and I am sure it will be a nice enough time. I want to say that I truly wish all of you a happy holiday season, whatever you are celebrating (mine is a secular Christmas but that is obviously one of many possibilities) and if you are not celebrating anything, I don't want to leave you out of my wishes either. I wish all of you the very best, now and always ♥. There is snow on the ground here but they said on the news it's not officially a white Christmas unless more than 1 inch, so I just have a slushy one I guess? *shrug* We'd gotten some a few days ago but that didn't seem to count either. I'll be spending quality time in SL with Xan both days, and I think time with people you care about is the best part of any holiday whenever possible. Jerky Turkey Hunt

 Hiya everyone! Tonight it's time to explore the Jerky Turkey Hunt 14, which is a $1L search for bright orange turkey feathers in each participating store. There are plenty of familiar brands taking part, and every single prize is worth so much more than the single little linden we're paying for them :) I always look forward to Evil Bunny Hunts rounds, and knowing that I've enjoyed fourteen of this particular November celebration is a hoot!

My first look of the evening is the ~J~ Jude Jacket prize from The Undiscovered Jewel, a store you certainly need to check out and discover! This cozy knee length jacket has an attached hood, playful collar, and is cinched at the waist before flaring out for a fluttery hemline. There are sizes for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. The enclosed vendor photo shows it styled with dark leggings and boots, and I can easily see wearing pumps or sandals with it too. 

Next I headed over to BlondeQueen and tracked down their orange feather, to receive this duo called BQ::Junia Knitted Dress:: Orange & Green. Sometimes the only thing better than one flirty dress is two flirty dresses, right? Each color comes in Freya, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizing. I've never seen a sweater in RL with such a deep plunging neckline, but it's a perfect idea for SL where that opening stays in place and shares just the right amount of cleavage.

Another stop I always appreciate in any hunt path is Artic Storm, because we get to claim treats like this stunning *AS* Evea Pants Set Simplicity. The top and pants are each included in sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. The trim on the pants matches the sequined texture of the cropped top just right, all in hues that work ideally for the season.

Don't forget to go to @AdReNaLiZeD@ and grab their Clementine Autumn prize, just by finding that brightly colored feather :) This lovely dress has fall leaves decorating a black background, with lighter brown trim to really highlight things beautifully. Beached Bunny Bingo

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we sneak in a few more dollarbie prizes from the Beached Bunny Hunt 14, which wraps up in about a week (end of July). The treats are found by locating teal beach pails that have a yellow handle and blue shovel inside. The easiest way to find them is to follow the hints from the hunt's website, then keep your eyes peeled for the small pails in their bright colors :) It is always a pleasure to do these hunts because they're very well organized, and the longevity of the Evil Bunny hunts does demonstrate that I'm not the only one.

My first look is our ENJOY THE WAVES Tee prize from The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co. and I'm absolutely a fan! The cozy tank top says "Life's a Beach, Enjoy the Waves" which is a fantastic way of looking at things. Find the pail and you'll receive an unpacker HUD with standard mesh sizes along with eBody Classic, eBody Reborn, Waifu, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh body sizes. Just choose the one you want delivered and hang onto the HUD for future reference, so your inventory doesn't get overloaded :) What will you pair them with? @AdReNaLiZeD@ has two beach pails waiting for us, one of which contains this lovely Maria Pink dress. It has a stunning ombre of colors to go with the layers of ruffles, and a very summery style with the halter neckline tied loosely at the nape. Next I'm happy to share the @AdReNaLiZeD@ Lena Plum Silk from the other pail at their store. This seductive bodysuit has high cut legs, daring front opening, and sassy hardware for an edgy flavor. I really like the shades of pink, purple, and gold in the abstract pattern.

This time of year calls for flirty bikinis, like our Ink Blots TBBH14 Female Gift which is one of two prizes (male outfit also included) in this same pail. The bright orange fabric is decorated with all sorts of summery icons like sunglasses, palm trees, and sailboats. The bottoms are really low slung, so the rear view is a little bit cheeky ;)

My final look of the evening is from Designs by Danielle which is on the same region as Ink Blots :) Their DANI Beached Bunny Hunt Prize is a top and skirt set with nautical striping on the long skirt. Each piece is provided in Belleza Isis, eBody Reborn, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizes. I'm always drawn to halter tops, particularly this twisted and draped style, and our top and skirt both have very pretty golden chain details.

It was a quiet day, other than tomorrow's haircut appointment being rearranged earlier due to the stylist's needing to leave sooner than scheduled. I am relieved to still be going since my hair is out of control, lol, as it's been like 8 months since my last cut and it's simply too hot for this overgrown mop. Bunny Still Evil

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we have more Evil Bunny Hunt 14 hunt prizes to see, all just $1L each and found in either nice eggs or evil eggs. The nice eggs are white with angel wings and halo, while the red evil eggs have black demon wings and horns. Some stores have one of each, and a few even have multiples beyond just one or the pair, so the website is where to find out what you're looking for :) The site also guides with the landmarks, hints, and preview images, so it is important to have it open while you hop down the hunt trail this month.

For my first look of the evening, I headed to [Nirvana Fashion] to find the nice egg containing their Female Easter Outfit - Lora 1 prize. The short sleeved shirt with bunny face and slender fit jeans are each provided in standard mesh sizes along with eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body sizes. A similar outfit for men is provided in the same egg :) The adorable face of the bunny really drew me to this prize, and honestly I don't feel they are limited to Easter or even spring.

The Undiscovered Jewel has two hidden eggs, evil and nice, and I went with my instincts to share the nice egg's prize tonight. The ~J~ Bun Bun Bikini is provided in a one-piece version and separate top and bottoms, all in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. The sky blue background is delightful to show off some comfy little bunnies, and the style of the string bikini is playful yet relatively modest. As for the evil egg, it has a similar bikini inside but with a different pattern...one that matches the egg's colors as a matter of fact.

I always enjoy visiting Artic Storm, whether it's for random shopping, midnight mania boards upstairs and down, or a hunt prize :) In this case, we're admiring their *AS* Bethann Leather Dress Golden outfit, which we can find inside a nice egg. The dress comes in sizing for Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Maitreya, Reborn, and Waifu, with BOM layer black stockings and BOM golden panty. I love having the extra layers for modesty and to accentuate the legs, and I'm a big fan of the halter style dress with its partly bared midriff and fun zipper on the back of the skirt. 

Next I headed to @AdReNaLiZeD@ for their nice egg containing this beautiful Lula Electric prize. The dress and panty (not visible here but I promise they're under there, lol) are each included in Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn body sizing. The belt is attached and brings the buckle total to three, thanks to the front and back of our neckline being similarly adorned. The texture almost made me think of flames at first, but the name led me back to lightning or an electrical current. After all, it is sizzlingly sexy!

My final look of the evening comes from DANI, also known as Designs by Danielle. They have a nice egg for us that hides their Jeans Shorts and Bubble Top Peach Dots outfit, which is just dreamy for the spring and summer. The strapless top and cute shorts each fit Erika, Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. The polka dot material appearing on the pockets of the shorts is a lovely touch, really pulling the outfit together perfectly. We can easily dress this up or down, depending on the jewelry we add and the footwear we select to pair with it. 

It was a decent day here, with a repaired garage door and a fair amount of rest which always helps :) I am excited about my next few blog posts, which will include more prizes from this hunt and another event anniversary, so it's safe to say that April is continuing to be generous and fun in SL. Glamorous Like Hollywood

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're taking another look (well, several) at the Hollywood Glamour 2 Hunt by Cheeky Monkey Hunts. There are so many terrific prizes, from $1L treats to $25L and $50L exclusives, all hidden in flat prim images of a yellow gold star with blue camera icon on them. Each designer chooses how many items to provide and which prices, so check the website for all the details :) They have landmarks, hints, prices, and preview images to guide us along the hunt path so we know what we'd like to claim. I always recommend having hunt websites open while you check them out, and that's why I make sure to link them. For Hollywood Glamour we have until the end of the month, so whatever catches your eye you do have time to find :)

My first look this evening, from The Sissy Bar, is so spot on for our theme, don't you think? The (TSB) Hollywood Glamour Hunt gown is a strapless full length beauty with mermaid styling, with sequined texture in various shades of purple which makes me think royalty. Bunny Kisses and Easter Wishes

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're exploring the Bunny Kisses & Easter Wishes 4 Hunt by Cheeky Monkey Hunts. There are tons of terrific prizes and exclusive offers, all hiding in golden eggs (flat prim images, not 3D rounded eggs) for $1L for the hunt prizes and $25L or $50L for the exclusive treats. The stonewashed beige denim shorts are a fun pairing for the vivid yellow tank with a sweet spring scene on the front :)

I borrowed (kept on) the TSB shorts to show you two of the three awesome tops you can find at The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co. in their new set of sizing. The $1L prize for this round is called BUNNY BUTT Tee, and yep that is it on the left above saying "Guess what? Bunny Butt" with an adorable cotton tail in the middle. I love the half-a-lop look of one ear straight up and the other flopped over, making our rabbit friend a little extra sassy. Yes folks, there are a few non-bunny prizes, and I love them too :) My final look of the evening is the Psyche's Pstyles Wishes on the Wind Dress, a $1L prize that is a remarkable bargain for that tiny cost. There are sizes for Freya, Isis, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and Reborn mesh bodies of this lovely maxidress, in a monochromatic print of dandelions ready to scatter their seeds. I have fond memories of making wishes on those as a kid, and blowing on them while giggling about whatever I was wishing for. What a clever name for this dress! I am a big fan of the soft pleats and bare shoulders, and I'm sure I can find a simple pair of sandals in my inventory to wear with it.

My evening got a bit hectic somehow, with messages from my mom and from a dear friend. My mom shared that she spoke to her brother today and he told her that his younger son (one of my 2 favorite cousins) and his wife are expecting :) I am so excited for them as I know they were eager to start a family, and she's had some health issues that had her concerned that it might not be possible. I don't know how far along she is or anything yet, and I don't want to reach out to them and make them feel like our parents are gossiping about them. Oh and yes, my mom phrased it as expecting rather than pregnant because apparently in the olden days you weren't allowed to say pregnant on tv and my mom is very delicate with her language :) I say all this lovingly, not disparagingly, as I appreciate her gentle nature and how genuinely sweet and innocent she is. The weather is going to be warm for 2 days and then dip to wintry again for at least a week, so who peed in Mother Nature's cornflakes?  Hiya everyone! Tonight I'm delighted to show you some more Wild and Free Hunt prizes from this August round of Cheeky Monkey gridwide hunts. There are $1L prizes along with $25L exclusives and $50L exclusives, with each designer choosing which of those they wish to offer. This means several stores have multiple prizes hidden, so be sure to follow the hints for each from the hunt's website :) They are all hiding in an image of a lion family, a great photo with parents and a cute cub, and the hunt is open until the end of the month so we have plenty of time to track down all these creative treats. The theme has me thinking about what I picture when I hear the phrase Wild and Free, making more even more impressed with what the designers have come up with.

For my first look we are visiting @AdReNaLiZeD@ where there are 3 prizes, one of each price point, like this $25L stunner called Eliza Tiger. The cleverly crafted dress looks amazing in the tiger print, doesn't it? This prize consists of sizes for Erika, eBody Reborn, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Meshbody Classic bodies. It is sure to bring out the animal in whoever wears it, not to mention arousing some animal instincts in those around you ;)

Since I couldn't resist sharing another of the @AdReNaLiZeD@ prizes, next I changed into their wonderful Cecely Leopard. This dress can be yours for just $1L when you find its hunt object, in eBody Reborn, Freya, Isis, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizing. It has a fun opening from right side of the waist across to the left and down to the hem, all laced loosely for peeks of skin. The leopard pattern is a beauty too, did you know those markings are called rosettes? I learned that a few years ago and think it sounds so much more precise than just saying spots :) 

Psyche's Pstyles is a new-to-me store whose name I am digging, and I'm pleased to make their acquaintance by sharing their $1L Beth Dress prize. Wrap dresses make me happy both SL and RL, and the combo of short sleeves with long midcalf hemline makes it suitable for any season. There are sizes for Freya, Isis, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and Reborn mesh bodies in this fantastic prize. 

Next I headed to a longtime favorite store of mine when it comes to quality hunt prizes, The Sissy Bar. They have a fantastic $1L prize that is simply called (TSB) Wild And Free Hunt, a wrap halter top and daring paneled skirt. Each piece comes in sizing for eBody Reborn, Freya, Isis, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. They are both trimmed with thick gold chains, which look so chic with the tiger pattern! The only thing I have to decide now is if I want to wear it with black, gold, or orange shoes...and what style, sandals perhaps? Pretty peeptoes?

For my final look of the evening, come on over to Tea Lane where one of the two hunt objects contains this $1L ~TL~ Neon Leopard Nikki Jumpsuit prize. The other is also $1L and holds a coordinated male prize, which you can see on the hunt website. The eye-catching jumpsuit will fit Kalhene, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies, all in that dazzling purple spotted pattern with contrasting teal belt. It made me chuckle to think that animals developed their markings to blend into their backgrounds for safety, yet in fashion we get to change up the colors and make sure we really stand out when we wish.

Well, whatever muscles are responsible for eyerolls really got a workout today at least...yesterday I mentioned that I asked my mom (we use google chat) a very important question which she read and ignored, so today just as I was about to send a somewhat impatient message, I was pleasantly surprised that she messaged me first. It turns out that my dad opened the message by mistake (both their google accounts are on all their devices for convenience but it really messes things up sometimes instead) and didn't reply or tell her, so it wasn't showing that she had an unread message. I'm 100% not surprised that he was the problem here, LOL, but relieved that it was nothing malicious and she wasn't upset with the question. I am going to try to go there for dinner tomorrow like I used to, despite being barely able to leave the house lately, with the understanding that if a panic attack starts to happen I am leaving without much warning. Yes, that is what the question was regarding, if she was cool with that so I wouldn't feel pressured or judged. When she didn't reply, I felt both, so hearing from her today was definitely a relief. Elemental Desire

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're exploring the Dirty Little Secrets Hunt round called Elemental Desire 6, where we can choose from 3 paths: $2L female, $2L male, or $25L unisex. The hunt object is a set of 4 black circles with element symbols in them, and they remind me of fancy drink coasters because of the shapes :) All of tonight's featured looks are from the female $2L path, and the hunt website has landmarks along with some of the preview images on a different page. The landmarks aren't labeled as to which store, just a number, so these very affordable treats are cloaked in mystery. Some of the preview images are labeled as to whose prize it is, and if you know the region name they are on it isn't too hard to figure out where in the hunt path they are. I had a great deal of fun and noticed two stores that seem to be returning to the hunt circuit if you will, as I'd not encountered them on any hunt websites in ages so it was a very pleasant surprise. As for our hunt, well the ending date of August 25th is not a secret, dirty or otherwise, and gives us plenty of time to find all the secret prizes we could desire.

My first look of the evening is the Diedra Skort Set - EDH6 from Sin Original, one of the two stores I had missed visiting for hunts and such :) Our halter top and denim skort (shorts/skirt combo) will each fit Freya, Isis, Venus, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies. Most of the skorts I've seen have had a panel in the front to replicate a skirt, but this one has a panel more off to one side so the shorts peek through both front and back, very cleverly crafted. I'm also a fan of the front and back openings of the top, flashing cleavage but covering the essentials with a beautiful floral pattern.

I also visited Tiar, and searched diligently to find their prize simply named Woman. It is a striking bodysuit with layered look, and I am a big fan of the dreamy colors decorated with twinkling stars. There are sizes for Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Kupra (Bimbo, Low, Original), Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite bodies to fit lots of popular mesh avatar styles. I get all sorts of fun impressions here, from Barbie (blame it on the pink?) to 80s aerobics workouts :)

GoodVibes made me smile with their Chick A Boom Womens Set, for more than one reason! The most obvious is that it is a terrific summer outfit with tube top and double top (left and right, respectively) and matching solid green shorts that all fit the Maitreya and Star mesh bodies. The other reason is the song it refers to, a ditty from the 70s called Chick-A-Boom (Don't Ya Jes' Love It) by Daddy Dewdrop. The back of the double top says Chick A Boom Boom Boom, which is a continuation of the chorus and referring to the music for a sexy dance like a striptease. My dad used to randomly sing the chorus of this song when I was too little to get the reference, as he has an affinity for unusual songs like one about a cavewoman named Bertha Butt. Yes, he was one of those embarrassing dads who sang this stuff in front of my friends, aren't I lucky? LOL!

What better way for The Sissy Bar to honor the element of water than with their (TSB) DLS - Elemental Desire Hunt - Female swimsuit? We can certainly lounge on the beach in it too, but it does have surfers catching some waves in its fabric print so it can feel aquatic even when on dry land :) The prize includes 5 standard mesh sizes as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body versions. The intricately laced up back is a fantastic detail, showing that modest swimwear can be very alluring.

My final look of the night is the @AdReNaLiZeD@ Mae Water dress, a jaw-dropping strapless mini in pale denim with teeny openings down the front. This is the other store I hadn't seen in any hunts lately, so I am glad they are a part of this one :) For just $2L we can claim this beauty in eBody Reborn, Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Kupra Khara, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Prima, and Prima Petite mesh body sizing. There is also a $25L prize hiding here somewhere as well, honoring a different element 🔥.

I'll keep the anxiety update brief - I had a panic attack in the shower this morning which is a new one for me, so the agoraphobia is still doing a number on me. I'm sorry I don't have a more positive update there. As far as SL goes, we are in a new month so there are lots of hunts and events to enjoy, and I am looking forward to deciding later which one to visit first :) These designers all work hard and I take every opportunity I can to thank them and showcase their creations.
