Taking a Look Back at the ODBD November Release!

Good morning!  Today we are sharing more projects with products from the ODBD November Release.  My first project above features the new Stamp/Die Duo called Joyful Christmas.  I colored the image with copics and then cut it out with the coordinating die.  I stamped the sentiment onto an Oval Stitched Rows die cut.  The beautiful paper is from the new Christmas Collection 2018 Paper Pad and is cut with a Pierced Rectangle.  The bottom layer is cut with a Snowflake Sky die.  A pretty seam binding bow completes the card.

Here is another card from me today:

For this card, I practiced the No Line Copic Coloring technique.  This Stamp/Die duo is called Merry Christmas.  I stamped the image three times.  After coloring the main layer, I cut it out with the coordinating die.  After coloring the other two images, I fussy cut the other two layers of the poinsettia.  I also used a stylus on the back of the flower layers to give it a little dimension.  The Poinsettia is popped up onto an Ornate Oval which is adhered to a Pierced Rectangle.  I added some pink rhinestones to the center to complete this card!

Good morning!

My first card above features the Christmas Bells dies and the new Christmas Collection 2018 Paper Collection.  I used the following dies: Snowflake Sky, Double Stitched Rectangles, and Ornate Ovals.  The sentiment is from the Christmas Card Verses set.  I dabbed the bells, bow, and leaves with white ink to give it a frosty look.

Here is my second card:

This Poinsettia Box stamp is gorgeous and so fun to color!  I also used Pierced Rectangles and Alphabet Flags.  The paper is also part of the new Christmas Collection 2018.

My first project is made with the Diorama with Layers Dies.

In addition to the Diorama with Layers Dies, I used the following to create this project:

While the dioramas do take a little extra time to create, they come together quite easily!

Here is my second project:

This card features the new Stamp/Die Duo called Great Joy.  I colored the Three Wisemen with copics and then cut them out with the included die.  I also used the following dies: Bethlehem, Holy Night, Double Stitched Rectangles, and Pennant Flags.  The paper inside the window is from the Christmas Collection 2015 Pack.

Welcome to the ODBD October Release!

Good morning!

Welcome to the ODBD October New Release!
We are very happy to have you with us today and we know you will love this release!

My first project is made with the new Diorama With Layers die set!  The little scene on the inside is created with the Bethlehem dies.  The sentiment is part of the Christmas Card Scriptures set and is stamped on a panel cut with the side layer die from the Diorama With Layers die. I also used Splendorous Stars and Christmas Collection 2014 paper.

Here is my second project:

This one is very clean and simple using the Neighborhood Border die and more of the Christmas Collection 2014 paper.   On this card I included a sentiment on the inside:

Both sentiments, (front and inside), are from the Christmas Card Verses set.

Warm Greetings!

Hello!
Christmas Day is almost here and I have been busy, busy, busy!
My card today features the fun new Stamp/Die Duo from Our Daily Bread Designs called White as Snow.  I love coloring snowmen!  And I had fun trying to match copic markers to both of the ODBD paper collections shown here: Holly Jolly and Christmas 2017.  I cut the background out with a Pierced Rectangle and then the oval is the largest of the Oval Stitched Rows dies.  I cut the sentiment out with the Layering Hearts dies. I added Snow Crystals with rhinestone centers and a tiny bow to the hearts to complete the card.

I am sharing this in two challenges at Splitcoast:

Looking Back at the ODBD December Release

Good morning!

Today, the ODBD team is taking a look back at the December Release!  I decided to do a gift bag with a matching gift card.  I used the Poinsettia Inset to cut out the front of the bag.  I did the direct to paper technique on the raised areas of the embossed panel and then glued it to the front of the bag. I created the gift bag with the new Card Caddy and Gift Bag dies and the Gift Bag Handles and Topper dies.

Then I cut out several of the Peaceful Poinsettias, did the direct to paper again and glued all the pieces of the flower together.  I attached one poinsettia to the gift bag and the other onto the front of the 3x3 gift card with two of the Layered Lacey Squares adhered to the front.

I made a tag with Ovals and Oval Stitched Rows.  The sentiment is from the new set Stamp/Die Duo White as Snow

Here is a card I made recently, that I have not shared yet:

This card is made with several new releases.  The Noel Ornaments image is colored with copics and cut out with an Oval Stitched Rows die.  The oval is popped up over a panel I made with the Poinsettia Inset and a Pierced Rectangle.  I was trying to do a technique with watercolor and the die as a stencil.  It really didn't work very well (failed) but I saved it because I liked the color.  You can slightly see some parts of the poinsettia though.  haha!  Well, maybe not, but I promise it's there!  I used the scalloped die from the new Gift Bag Handles and Topper dies as a border across the card and added a pretty gold bow to complete the card!

Sending Warm Greetings

Good morning!

I have another Christmas card made with a new set from Our Daily Bread Designs!  This adorable White as Snow is so much fun to color!  And there is a coordinating die to cut the snowman out!  Love that!  I colored the image with copics and then cut it out.  I used the Curvy Slopes dies to cut out the snow hills.  I cut out the Lattice Background and used it as a stencil to get the 'blue sky' background on the panel cut out with a Snowflake Sky die.  I added Snow Crystals and then I cut out a piece with the Grass Lawn die to create the icicles!  I added clear Wink of Stella here and there for the winter sparkle!

Thanks for looking!  Have a wonderful week!

My first project features the new Card Caddy and Gift Bag dies and the Gift Bag Handles and Topper dies along with the Holly Leaves stamp set.  Oh and there is a new Double Stitched Oval on there too!  I created the bag first without the insert but used the insert on a separate piece of card stock to attach to the front and another to the back of the bag.  This makes it a more solid, sturdy bag to hold a collection of cards. I stamped the image and colored it with copics.  I fussy cut the image to place on the oval and added several Snow Crystals

I created four coordinating cards to go inside:

All four cards are alike except each has a different patterned paper from the Snowflake Season Paper Collection.  The patterned paper panels are cut with a Pierced Rectangle.  On the cards and the bag are tiny little white bows, clear rhinestones
and touches of Wink of Stella.

Here is my second project:

This card features the Noel Ornaments stamp.  I colored it with copics to match the Holly Jolly Paper.  I also dyed the seam binding with a copic to match.  The panels are cut with a Pierced Rectangle, Snowflake Sky and Pierced Squares.  I added the Noel Border cutting off all but the NOEL.  Wink of Stella here and there completes the card.

Christmas Cardinals and a Christmas Chickadee

Hello there!  It's Thanksgiving week here in my neck of the woods!  Yay!

Today I am sharing three cards I have made recently, using the new Winter Cardinal and Winter Chickadee sets from Our Daily Bread Designs.  My friend's mother passed away recently.  Her family loves cardinals and even though this is a Christmas-y stamp, I think it works fine for a sympathy card at this time of year.  I colored the image with copics and used a Pierced Circle to cut it out.  The frame is made with Pierced Rectangles. The background is embossed with the Lattice Background.  The word 'with' and the word sympathy die are part of the stamp/die duo called With Sympathy.  I added the bow from the Ice Skate die die set to complete the card.

Here is my next card with the Winter Cardinal:

This card, has lots of layers, yet it is still somewhat clean and simple.  I colored the image with copics to match the paper from the Christmas Collection 2017 and then cut it out with a Pierced Circle.  I also used Pierced Squares and Pierced Rectangles.  I used a matching copic marker to dye the seam binding to match!

And here is my third card:

This card features the Winter Chickadee set.  Again, I colored with copics and used a Pierced Circle to cut it out.  A smaller Pierced Circle was used for the sentiment.  The papers are from the Christmas Collection 2017 and is cut out with a Pierced Rectangle.  Then I added a Bitty Border. This ribbon is dyed with a copic marker also.

And that's it!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Christmas Blessings

Good morning!

This card is for today's Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoast!
The Inspiration focuses on the Balsam Hill website.
I chose to use the Snow Globes found HERE.

This beautiful cardinal and the sentiment are from the new ODBD set called Winter Cardinal.  I colored the cardinal with copics and cut out with the ODBD Snow Globe die.  the sentiment is cut out with a Pierced Oval.  The papers are from the Christmas Collection 2017 Paper Pad.  I used the Medium Bow die to create the bow at the bottom.  I did the shaped card with Rounded Rectangles and then the main panel is cut out with a Double Stitched Rounded Rectangle.

SC670, Merry Christmas

I made this for the Sketch Challenge today at SCS!

I used the inner Snowflake Sky die to emboss and then cut that piece into three rectangles.  Then I cut one of the Curvy Slopes, cut it into three rectangles and glued them onto the snowflake rectangles.  Then cut out the Trees and Deer to add to the scene.  The bottom layer is stamped with Merry Christmas from the Card Greetings set.  I added pearls and white ribbon and then added shimmer to the scene with clear Wink of Stella.

Thanks so much for looking!
Have a wonderful day!

CAS 454, Peace on Earth

Good morning!

The CAS454 challenge at SCS today is Into the Forest.  My card has several layers but I still think it qualifies as CAS.  Especially for me! haha!  I could not resist using the new Trees and Deer and Curvy Slopes dies from Our Daily Bread Designs!  The background was done by flicking masking fluid onto the card stock and then air brushing with a blue copic marker.  After removing the masking fluid spots it looks like snow falling!  I made a frame for my winter scene with a Double Stitched Rounded Rectangle.  The sentiment is from Winter Chickadee and is cut out with an Ornate Oval die.  I added touches of sparkle with Wink of Stella.  The bow is cut from a piece of red in the Christmas Collection 2017 paper pad with the bow die from Circle Ornaments.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Have a wonderful week!

Hello!
