Season's Greetings

Wow!  It's been two months since I posted last.  To be quite honest, I haven't felt much like stamping the last several months. If it weren't for the need of some Christmas cards I would probably not have made a card. It took me a few minutes working on this card and then it all came back to me.

I saw the sketch on the MFT blog and wanted to use my pretty Poinsettia die-namics.  I went rather simple and flat to ensure I would only need one stamp.  ;)

SUPPLIES: *MFT must have changed all the links to their products.  None of the links take you to the product, but you can see each product I have used and search the site.

Here is the MFTWSC sketch I used for my Christmas card.

Get Well Soon...take care of yourself

Wow!  It's been over a month since I posted last!  I can't believe how fast the summer has come and gone.  School has started back and I am back to working.  With the beautifully, mild summer we had, I didn't have the desire to coop myself up in my craft room.  I did however, want to make a card for a co-worker who is in the hospital.  I was shocked at how fast this card came together.  With the awesome sketch at MFT, this was a breeze to create.

I searched for a card in my stash to give, but they were all too girly and I was in need of a masculine card.  This color palette seemed to be manly enough, in my opinion.

Sherbet Thank You

Hello and Happy Mother's Day to all who celebrate today.  I took a couple hours out of my afternoon to head to my craft room and create a few cards.  I keep using this patel combo of purple and teal.  I must love it because I didn't realize until after I was finished that I had used it again.  Ha!  If I had a lighter shade of orange I would have used it.  I think this orange is a bit dark compared to the inspiration photo and the other pastel colors used.

SUPPLIES:
I love these pretty sherbet colors together.  I found this color palette at Design Seeds.

MFTWSC174

Hello there!  I always enjoy my weekends off, I get a lot accomplished.  The only downside is that I can't sleep in past 6:30 or 7 am, which is fine because I don't want to seel my life away anyway.  Ha!

One of the things that I accomplished on Sunday was getting a couple cards made for Mother's Day.  I still had the typewriter text background stamp on my desk from last week, so I decided to use it again.  It's so quick and easy to ink that up and stamp a background.  I'm addicted!

I wanted to incorporate some gold into my card, and pretty little gold leaves was the perfect touch.  I like the way it turned out.

SUPPLIES:

I used the MFTWSC174 sketch for my card.
