Believe in the Magic of Christmas

Hello again!  I loved my MFT Poinsettia die so much that I had to use it again.  This time I used the Fusion Card Challenge and chose to work off of the sketch.

A little glitter cardstock gave my card the added sparkle I was looking for.

Season's Greetings

Wow!  It's been two months since I posted last.  To be quite honest, I haven't felt much like stamping the last several months. If it weren't for the need of some Christmas cards I would probably not have made a card. It took me a few minutes working on this card and then it all came back to me.

I saw the sketch on the MFT blog and wanted to use my pretty Poinsettia die-namics.  I went rather simple and flat to ensure I would only need one stamp.  ;)

SUPPLIES: *MFT must have changed all the links to their products.  None of the links take you to the product, but you can see each product I have used and search the site.

Here is the MFTWSC sketch I used for my Christmas card.

Merry Christmas

I am squeezing in one last Christmas card for 2013.  This is another card created for the Flourishes Christmas catalog.  Flourishes has some of the most beautiful Christmas stamp sets available HERE on the website.  I made a card using this image last Christmas and my MIL loved it, so this one was sent to her.  I hope she likes it.

How is your holiday to-do list looking so far?  I have one last present to wrap and cookies to make tomorrow.  I had intended to make them today, but after I spent 2 hours at the gym, I was completely out of energy.  They MUST get made tomorrow!

After Christmas, I am looking forward to crafting during my two week break.  There are a lot of fun challenges I have been wanting to play along with.  We go back to work/school on the 2nd of January, so time is on my side for now.

Happy Holidays,

Make Merry

WOW!  It feels like forever since I've posted.  With Christmas quickly approaching, I have been scrambling to get presents bought and wrapped.  Where did the time go between Thanksgiving and now?  I swear I am going to be more prepared next year.  I don't like all this last minute stuff, it stresses me out!

I have a card to share with you that I made several months ago for the Flourishes Christmas catalog.  I absolutely love this beautiful stamp set.  I haven't used lace in quite a while and I love the feminine look it adds to a card.  The Spellbinders dies with the lace like patterns go so well with it.  Don't ya think?

I am trying to get a widget for my blog for Bloglovin.  I need to paste this here in order to claim my blog.

Believe in the Magic of Christmas

It's finally the weekend and I made sure I had time to create my son's Christmas card.  He will be 14 just eleven days after Christmas, so I wanted something that wasn't so child like, yet still wasn't too grown up either.  I used various MFT die-namics dies for this card, all of which will be linked below.

My friend Marsha sells Stampin' Up and she gave me some of the ink squares to try.  I loved the coverage that they gave.  I don't have a huge selection of colored ink pads, so it was nice to be able to try them.  The colors used here are Old Olive and Real Red.

Somehow I got a crease in the white CS on the inside of my card and I didn't notice it until I went to put it on my blog.

SUPPLIES USED:

I used an old MFTWSC sketch from last year.  You can find all off the past sketches HERE on Pinterest.

I also played along with the Curtain Call challenge.
