JEFF COLON, the Executive Director of Pure Life Ministries , will address the theme: "FROM SLAVE TO SEX TO SERVANT OF CHRIST".

Jeff earned his Masters in Biblical Counseling from Master’s International School of Divinity and is credentialed with the Assemblies of God. He is also a certified biblical counselor through the International Association of Biblical Counselors (IABC) and serves on the IABC Board of Directors.

Jeff came to Pure Life Ministries from Long Island, NY in January 1994. It was a last-ditch effort for freedom from a life of debauchery and sexual sin. An ultimatum from his wife and his pastor drove him here but it was Jeff’s plan to simply get the sin out of his life and then to go back to a “normal” life in New York. However, Jeff got more than he bargained for at Pure Life. God came to him in a powerful way. Today Jeff is a completely transformed man.

Jeff is the former director of the Pure Life Ministries Live-In Program, making him a popular presenter for the ministry’s Men of Purity Weekends. Men are consistently impacted by Jeff’s sincerity and passion in leading them to repentance and a life-changing encounter with God. In addition to his ongoing role as campus pastor for the PLM Live-In Program, Jeff and his wife Rose frequently minister to couples and young adults, speak regularly at the annual IABC conference, and minister in various speaking venues, both across the USA as well as internationally.

Jeff is the author of "From Ashes to Beauty: Spiritual Truths for Rebuilding & Revitalizing Your Marriage".

INTERNET PORN and PEDOPHILE PREDATORS are a rapidly growing threat to the purity, safety and very lives of our children in this country, even in Christian households. Thank God for Christians like Bobby Lloyd and organizations like Long Island Citizens for Community Values (LICCV).

Bobby Lloyd is an unsung hero who worked side-by-side with New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani in cleaning up the historic Time Square from the porn, prostitution and drug trafficking that so dominated the area that this wickedness became synonymous with the very identity of "Time Square" for many years until not long ago.

A native of Rockville Centre, Long Island, Bobby Lloyd has experienced first-hand what it is like to be in bondage to pornography and drugs. And as Executive Director of Long Island Citizens for Community Values, he helps others not only understand the damage pornography can do but also break its stranglehold on their lives.

While Mr. Lloyd currently works closely with law enforcement officials and politicians, he was once on the other side of the law. His role as one of the primary suppliers of heroin to Long Island and parts of New York city in the 70s and 80s landed him in prison several times and in 1976, he received a life sentence under Gov. Rockefeller’s drug law. It was during his stint in prison that Lloyd rekindled a friendship with current wife and partner Dianne, who shared with him her own experiences of breaking the stronghold of drugs. Lloyd’s behavior in prison earned him lifetime parole but after being released he quickly re-established his drug business, which continued for several more years. Finally, in 1984, he entered Brooklyn Teen Challenge, which helped him put his drug habit behind him and move into a new phase of life.

Lloyd helped pioneer Long Island’s first Teen Challenge program and has since reached thousands of young people with a motivation message about how one man can turn his life around. As a result of his work, Lloyd received a pardon from his lifetime parole.

Since 1994, Mr. Lloyd has served as Executive Director of LICCV, where he helps Long Islanders live better lives, free from the negative influences of pornography and the sexualized messages of the culture. LICCV also specifically helps parents to protect their children from the dangers of Internet porn and pedophile predators.
