Happy Thursday y'all! Hope everyone is having a fab week & looking towards to an even better weekend....one that is indoors where it's cool that is! I don't know about y'all, but here in Oklahoma, we have had over 30 days of 100+ temps. Any activity that is either indoors or in the water is a must right now! And speaking of indoors, I have been craftin' away in my little cave & whipped up a card for this week's AiFactory DT challenge. I used a sweet little sentiment from the digi store & made sure to incorporate this week's challenge, which is to layer it up. Catch a Wave w/AiFactory!

Happy Thursday my crafty peeps! I'm back with another card to share with y'all, although this time my ego may need a little boost cause I'm just not feeling this card. What I am feeling for sure though is that adorable little surfer dude clip art! He is so cute & his friends that accompany him in the set are just as sweet...you can grab them from AiFactory RIGHT HERE! Okay, I actually think if it wasn't for the super cute surfer kiddo on my card, I think it would be pretty blah. I kinda like the sentiment too & I added some raindrops to jazz it up a little & make it appear like water is on his surfboard, but I am not sure about the LO. I think that is what's getting me the most. The majority of the time I truly love what I create, but every once in awhile don't ya just feel like something you made isn't quite good enough? Please tell me I'm not the only one, although I do know that I am my own worst critic. I do like my papers too & think they give the card a rustic, tribal beach feel, but what do y'all think? What's missing...do you have any suggestions?

Patterned Paper - The Paper Studio, Autumn Leaves,Top Line Creations
Ribbon - Prima

Hi Cutie Scalloped Card

I guess I am just addicted to Spring colors lately 'cause here I am, back again with another bright and bold project! And, that happens to be our challenge this week too over at AiFactory. For this card I decided to step out of my comfort zone a little & try my first shape card...yes, I said first. I usually do a variation of rectangle or square, sometimes a tag if I'm feeling really wild. (btw, sarcasm comes at no extra charge here on my blog...lol!) But this week, lo and behold, I braved a scalloped card & liked how it turned out. Of course it helped that I got to play with this adorable AiFactory digi stamp, Ella in the Clouds...isn't she super sweet?! Just love her, but of course, I love the entire Ella Line by AiFactory. So visit the AIF Store HERE to grab your very own Ella in the Clouds & check out the rest of the Ella Line, too!

What's Cookin'? (good lookin'...i couldn't resist!)

"Hey good lookin'!, Whatcha got cookin'? How about cookin' something up for me?"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I'm sorry...I couldn't resist! I used to love that song by Hank Williams Sr. when I was little and matter of fact, I still do. I also absolutely love to cook (my stepfather calls me Miss Betty..after Betty Crocker...lol!) so getting to play with this new release from AiFactory was a definite treat for me! With the 'In the Kitchen' Digital Stamp set from AiFactory you get a total of 11 stamps...and each one of them are awesome & fun so go HERE to grab your own fabulous set! You can also buy the In the Kitchen Set already colored in two wonderful shades...just go HERE & HERE! I can also see this darling apron printed on some fun patterned paper & pieced together, especially with some retro or vintage inspired paper. You will be so glad you grabbed this set because I can see these cuties used on everything from recipe exchanges, to barbecue invitations & more! I also had a blast using theses stamps to make this card. It was fun to dress it up & add a little something special to the apron, as well as adding those fun dimensional glossy accents to the cuppies.
