This week the DT's from Scor-Pal and Clearsnap have joined forces to bring you some amazing projects.  Be sure to check the Scor-Pal Blog and the Clearsnap Blog everyday for inspiration, and also to enter to win a Scor-pal!  Just leave comments this week on any of our Scor-pal posts, and we will choose a winner next week.

Hi everyone, Steph here today and I'm excited to be working with the Scor-Pal  and Clearsnap  teams this month.

Cut brown cardstock to 5 1/2" x 11".
Corner round all edges.

Score at 2 3/4" and 5 1/2" and fold on the scored lines.
Cut a second piece of brown cardstock 5 1/2" X 5 1/2" and adhere to the 2 3/4" section using Scor-tape.

Cut pink cardstock 5 1/4" x 5 1/4".
Score every 1/4" across the cardstock.
Rotate cardstock 90 degrees and score every 1/4" across.

Ink around the edges of the pink cardstock using ColorBox Pinkolicious Archival Dye Ink.

Cut pink cardstock 4" x 4" and ink the edges with Pinkolicous Archival Dye Ink.
Mat with brown cardstock cut 4 1/2" x 4 1/2".
Wrap brown ribbon around the panel and add to card with foam adhesives for dimension.

Stamp a large flower image using ColorBox Chalk Ink - Blackbird.
Emboss with Black Embossing Powder.
Color the flower using ColorBox Pinkolicious Archival Dye Ink.
Add some definitition by adding ColorBox Very Berry Archival Dye Ink  to the center of the flower.
Color the leaves using ColorBox  Jalapeno Dye Ink.
Add some definition by adding ColorBox Grasshopper Archival Dye Ink to the bottom edges of the leaves.
Add Green Apple Smooch Ink to the flower stem.
Paint Pink Fizz Smooch Glitz onto the flower, with a heavier concentration in the center of the flower.
Cut out the flower and leaves.
Remove some of the leaves and reposition the leaves once the flower has been added to the card with foam adhesives for dimension.

Stamp a sentiment using Blackbird Chalk Ink and emboss with Black Embossing Powder.
Ink edges with Pinkolicous Ink and mat with brown cardstock.
Add to card base using foam adhesives - this helps the card stand.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Scor-pal and Clearsnap with Lori Williams

Hi Everyone, Lori here with you today.  I've seen cupcakes created for quite some time and I finally broke down and made one for myself, and must say I love it.  The tutorial for the cupcake was inspired from Miranda Edney's .

You'll need your Scor-Pal for the base of the cupcake and 2 strips of designer paper 2 inches x 9 inches.  Score each of the strips every 1/4 inch and accordion fold.  Attach your two strips to make a circle and you have your base for the cupcake.  You can cover this over a cup for more support if you  need or want.

For my flowers I used Cheery Lynn's daisy die and colored the base of the flowers with Clear Snaps Donna Salzars Mixed Media Chiffon Ink , leaving the very tips white.

With a sponge dauber I colored the center of the petals with Donna Salzar's Berry Ink.  Once the flowers are glued together with the layers on each color the tips of the flowers with the Berry Ink too.

The cupcake is completed by adding leaves and the flowers to the half of a Styrofoam ball with push pins and adding pearls to the center of each flower.

Scor-pal and Clearsnap with Toni Storie

This week the DT's from Scor-Pal and Clearsnap have joined forces to bring you some amazing projects.  Be sure to check the Scor-Pal Blog and the Clearsnap Blog everyday for inspiration, and also to enter to win a Scor-pal!  Just leave comments this week on any of our Scor-pal posts, and we will choose a winner next week.

Hi, Toni here!  It's my turn to showcase a Scor-Pal and Clearsnap project.  We will have a week long showing of some crafty goodness by both the Scor-Pal design team and the Clearsnap design team.  I received some really fabulous product and I wanted to show it all off, so I made a Card Box* and an assortment of cards to go in it.
For this project, you will need:
For the cards, you will also need:
Place the 7 3/4" by 9" piece of card stock on your Scor-Pal with one corner at the top of the  6" groove and the opposite corner between the arrows at the bottom of the 6" groove.  Score every half inch across the entire piece of card stock.  I have illustrated three of the score lines below.
Turn your piece of card stock 90 degrees and center the new corner at the top of the 6" groove and the opposite corner between the arrows at the bottom of the 6" groove.  Again, score every half inch across the entire piece of card stock.  You will create a diamond grid pattern on your paper.
If you want to highlight the grid pattern with ink, you will do that now.  Refer to the card below for more information on inking the grid pattern.  For now, we will continue on with creating our box base.  With the 9" side of the card stock up against the top fence of the Scor-Pal,  score at 1 1/2" on all four sides.
On the 9" sides, cut along the 1 1/2" score lines in to the 1 1/2" score lines.  You will create four tabs to adhere the box together.  Crease all of your score lines.
Turn the box base over and line all four tabs with Scor-tape.
Remove adhesive backing and adhere tabs to inside of the box.  Now you see the finished box base.
Creating the box lid follows the same steps with slightly different dimensions.  This box lid was created with acetate, but could easily be made with card stock.  The acetate measures 6 7/8" by 8 1/8".  It is places into the Scor-Pal and scored at 1" on all four sides.  Tabs are created by cutting on the 1" score line in to the 1" score line.  Adhesive is placed on the outside of the tabs and adhered to the inside of the lid.  Below, you see the acetate lid placed on my scored grid box base.
For the first of four cards, I recreated the scored grid background on my card.
Since my background was smaller, I placed my Scor-Envi into my Scor-Pal and used it to help me stabilize the smaller piece.  I placed one corner into the 6" groove and lined up one side flush with the Scor-Envi.  Score every half inch across the whole piece.
Turn 90 degrees and repeat the scoring every half inch to create the diamond grid pattern.
Without turning the paper over so that raised score lines are on the bottom, brayer on Clearsnap Mix'd Media Inx Chox ink.
I finished my card with a couple of stamped flowers, dies and burlap string.  For my gold flower centers, I used both Gold Lame Smooch and Goldrush Smooch Glitz.

For the next card, I scored sun rays onto my card base.  I used Gold Lame Smooch to line each ray and then ran a finger over it to spread it like it was glowing.  I also covered some card stock with the Smooch and die cut and trimmed it to represent my sun.
For the third card, the leaves were clear embossed on white card stock.  Then, I used River Mossy Smooch Spritz to spray over the top in an emboss resist technique.  Additionally, I scored on either side of the emboss resist panel, wrapped burlap string around the embossed panel, stamped a sentiment and rounded the corners.
For the final card, I scored a tic-tac-toe grid and embellished.  In the four corners of the grid, I used the Honey Mix'd Media Inx embossing powder to emboss the leaves.  I stamped flowers for the four outer boxes of the grid, adding Gold Lame Smooch to each flower center.  Finally, I stamped a sentiment, matted the grid and rounded the corners.
The cards and envelopes fit neatly into the box with the lid.  It was finished with a simple bow tied with mini cording to match.
Thanks for reading along!

Scor-pal and Clearsnap with Jennie Harper

This week the DT's from Scor-Pal and Clearsnap have joined forces to bring you some amazing projects.  Be sure to check the Scor-Pal Blog and the Clearsnap Blog everyday for inspiration, and also to enter to win a Scor-pal!  Just leave comments this week on any of our Scor-pal posts, and we will choose a winner next week.

Hi Scor-Pal fans!  It's Jennie and I wanted to share a project I created for our Clearsnap ~ Scor-Pal Blog Week. Using a Scor-Pal, I created sour cream containers, which are perfect for holding little candy treats!
Supplies:
Ink: Clearsnap Licorice and Spray inks
Stamps: Petal Party Penny Black
Cardstock: Gina K. Designs
Patterned Paper: SEI
 Tool: Scor-Pal scoring board
Bling: Want2Scrap
Adhesive: Scor-Tape
Scissors
Take 4 1/4 x 5 1/2" panels of patterned paper and apply Scor-Tape to three sides (2 long and 1 short).

Roll 2 short sides together to overlap to form a roll (repeat for others).
Pinch one of the ends together to form a seam in the middle. Using Scor-Pal, score the bottom edge up to the 1/2" mark. This gives the impression of crimped edges.
Add treats and seal other edge (scoring again).
Gather supplies to make flower accents.
Spray ivory cardstock with ink spray.  Then, stamp floral image and trim.
 Adhere to sour cream containers.
This is very easy to do and hope you will give it a try soon!
Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day!
Blessings,

Today it's my turn to share my project from the great products at Scor-Pal and Clearsnap

I made a cute Birdhouse that can be used as a gift box.

Project Recipe:
Scoring Tool - Scor-Pal
Mat - Scor-Mat
Adhesive - Scor-Tape
Paper - My Minds Eye
Fence Border Punch - Fiskars
Loop Border Punch - Martha Stewart
Flower Die - Ellentina
Frame Die - Nellies
Flourish Die - Elegant Scrollwork by Memorybox
Ink - Inx Chox
Paint - Smooch
Spray - Smooch Spritz
Embossing Powder - Mix'd Media Inx in Chiffon, Honey and Peridot

For the sides of the birdhouse you need to 2 pieces of card stock measuring 6" by 5"
The base is 4" square
The front and back are 4" by 6"

For the sides score and 1" and 5" along the 6" side and at 1" on the 5" side.
Snip the corner as in the photo to form the flap that will create the base of the side and add Scor-Tape to adhere

Form the sides as shown in the photo using your Scor-Tool to create tight, crisp corners.

Add the 4" square base to the two sides.

Create the front and back by cutting at an angle from a 2" point on each long side to the center point (2") on the short side as in the photo.

Using a nesting style die cut a window in the front panel and then nest two together to cut a frame to go around the window and attach using Scor-Tape

Ink all edges with the Mix'd Media Inx pad

Attach the front and back panels to the flaps on the side pieces to form the birdhouse.

When I created mine I added an additional base (5" by 4" scored at 1/2" and 4 1/2" along the 5" side) to the inside in the opposite direction of the original base to give more stability

The roof is made from a piece of coordinating card stock measuring 6" by 8". Score at 4" along the 8" side and at 1" and 5" along the 6" side. Burnish the score lines and snip at the 4" score line to the intersecting score as in the photo to create the angle to make the roof. Ink all edges if desired.

Adhere the corners with Scor-Tape and use your Scor-Tool on the inside corners to create crisp corners.

The roof sits perfectly on the birdhouse

To decorate the flower I created some embossed flowers from flower dies, clear embossing ink, the Mix'd Media Inx Embossing Powder in Chiffon and my heat gun.

You can see the great enamel look the embossing powder gives to the flower>

For added sparkle I added some Smooch Spritz to the flowers.

Using the same technique I then created an enamelled punched edge and also flourishes.

I also punched strips for the roof to resemble a tiled look.

I hope you enjoyed this, sorry for the photo overload but I didn't want you to miss anything :)
