spring

Hi There!!!

I've been meaning to share this Scrap Page I made with you all week. FINALLY I've remembered to sit down and post it for you.

This is my GORGEOUS Jorja....playing outside in the SPRING sunshine. I just adore this photo... I guess it's safe to say I pretty much ADORE all the photos of my beautiful girls. She just looks so sweet AND cheeky don't you think.

I've used my retired Simply Scrappin Kit - Crew Girls for this... and it is to be a part of her scrap album which is coming along VERY VERY slowly. LOL.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

My Beautiful Ella - Day THREE

Hi There!!! Back again with a couple more pages from Ella's Scrapbook. Today I've got month Four and Five for you.

This one of her at Four months was taken on her very first Camping trip.... yep camping in a TENT!!! She had a wonderful time, and considering the heat.... coped pretty well... we won't mention how long it took to get her back to sleeping properly again when we got home... nope.. we'll keep that a secret!! haha... (see I can laugh now!!).

I just adore this picture... her cheeky little face, it's like she's quite proud of the fact she's squished her Big Sis out of the photo... she is there, like I said, just a bit squished!!!!

And then for Five Months... this one was taken at one of our MANY trips to the Zoo... sitting there in her pram pretty happy with being pushed around in luxury!!!.

So hope you like these two pages. Be sure to pop back tomorrow for a couple more. Oh and I promise to have a card or two for you soon too.

Thanks for stopping by.

My Beautiful Ella - Day ONE!!!

Hi there!!! As promised in this post, during the week I'll be popping up the scrap pages I've made of my Beautiful Ella, who celebrated her FIRST birthday on Saturday. I made these pages for her scrap book, but also to have on display during her party, so that everyone could see just how much she's grown. Well OK, I think everyone already knew that, but it was fun making them, and made Mummy here a bit teary while searching the hundreds of pic we have of her to make each page.

So, today I've got her arrival and One Month pages.

Ella is literally minutes old in this photo.... she came so quickly that it was taken on Shane's mobile phone, because YES we didn't have time to get the camera out of the car... it was get ME out or have baby in the car... hahaha.

And here she is at One Month old.... smiley, happy and just adorable.

Hope you like these, be sure to pop back tomorrow for a couple more.

All supplies on these pages are from my SU! Simply Scrappin' Kit - Rock-a-Bye Girl. oooohhh I do LOVE this kit.

Thanks for stopping by.

Ice-ceme!!

No... it's not a spelling error... it's Ice-Ceme... well that's how Jorja says it anyway.. Hahaha.

I've managed to sit down and create a Scrap Page. I've been wanting to scrap these photos of Jorja for a few weeks now, ever since I saw this sketch layout by Jen Tapler at Paper Craft Planet.

Well... I missed the deadline for the challenge, but I still wanted to make the page. And here is what I came up with.

I've used Jorja's hat as the colour scheme, so used Basic Grey Textured as the base, then added some Rose Red DSP (unfortunately retired) and some Tempting Turquoise as the strips for the photos to go onto.
The letters are Thickers from American Crafts.

It was such a funny chain of events... Jorja starting out with an Icy Pole...thinking she was very grown up and special and then Gee (aka Granny) asked her if she'd like to taste her 'Icecream'. Well Gee was swiftly handed the icypole and when she asked Jorja if she could have her Icecream back Jorja quite bluntly told her .... Noooo!...Noooo!!
She managed to eat what was left of it without one single dribble!!! Well she couldn't possibly waste any could she??

Hope you like it and thanks for stopping by.

Card:-

Sisters!!!

Hi There!!!

As you probably know, I'm currently running an ongoing 12x12 Calendar Class with some BEAUTIFUL friends of mine. And thought I'd share with you another layout I've just finished.

I'm using the soon to be retired 'Crew Kids - Girls' Scrappin' Kit (Don't you just love it!!!! ooohhh I absolutely ADORE it!!!) If you want one... EMAIL me today so you don't miss out.

The base of the page is Regal Rose Textured Cardstock, with some polka dot DSP and some Silver Hodgepodge, the remaining accessories/embelishments are all from the Scrappin' Kit. They are absolutely fantastic, because you get everything you need in the one pack. The only extra bit were the letters, which are Thickers from American Crafts. I'm hoping the new cattie will bring with it some lovely new Alphabet stamps. I'm thinking I might actually colour the letters in... What do you think???? Any suggestions.

Anyway, I hope you like my latest page of my GORGEOUS girls.

Thanks for stopping by.

The reason for this quick post is to pop up my entry for Shelli Gardner's - So Shelli Creative Challenge. This months challenge is SPRING themed and what better colours for a Spring Theme than of course PINK and GREEN.

You may have seen this Scrap Page before on my Blog, but I'm going to put it on again just for this challenge... Hope you like it!!!

The picture is of my Darling Ella... isn't she just beautiful... yes I most definately am BIASED!!! I've use the Simply Scrappin' Kit - Crew Kid Girls with all of it's gorgeous Regal Rose and Wild Wasabi Colours...mmmm delicious.... and it matches her little outfit perfectly.

Gentle Moment... Another Scrap Page!!!

I told you I was on a role.... Look at me go!!! hahaha.

I've finished another Scrap Page to add to my calendar and hopefully a layout that my lovely girlfriends will want to use and adapt for their own calendars too.

Here is a looksie at the sketch I used:-

The layout is from here and I saw a similar page at Karen's site... which I fell in love with the moment I looked at it... it is such a 'simple' and beautiful page, and I have to admit when it comes to scrapbooking I much prefer simple.

So here is my 'Gentle' page...

Again I've used my Crew Kids - for Girls kit...absolutely loving this... think I might have to get another before they disappear... which I'm sure they will given that they have the current 'In Colour' colour Wild Wasabi included. I've also used a stamp from the current 'Sale-a-bration' set Yummy (you may not be able to see it too well in the picture but it is the Flourish on the corners. I've stamped them in Rose Red then used my White Gel pen to add a bit of dimension by dotting it. The letters are from a set of Alphabet Stickers I had (unfortunately NOT SU!!!) but I didn't have an alphabet set that was small enough for the title.

HOpe you like it.

You & Me... Another Scrap Page!!

I must be on a role lately, particularly with my Scrapping, because I've got yet another page to show you.
I'm currently holding an ongoing 'Calendar Class' with some extremely wonderful and beautiful friends of mine (HELLLOOO Girls.... Love Ya!!), so am creating pages to put into that. We are all using the 12x12 Days to Remember Calendars... and I'm hoping that they are all still going to speak to me after we are done.... It's a HUGE project!!!

Anyway now for my latest page....

I got my inspiration from a layout from Page Maps...(this is an awesome site which gives you many many layout ideas... PHEW!!)

I've used paper and embelishments from the Crew Kids for Girls Pack, which I LOVE!
This gorgeous pic is of myself and my beautiful Jorja and was taken on Christmas Day... I just LOVE this pic, you've probably already guessed that given it's my profile picture too.

Well I hope you like and I'll be back soon with some more goodies to share.

Ooh....Hello - A Calendar Page!!!

Hello There!!!

I've got some of my BEAUTIFUL Girlfriends coming over tomorrow to participate in a 'Calendar Class' using the Days to Remember 12x12 Calendars. I've got a couple of layouts made up for them to see and use as a start to their very own calendars (of course they are free to change and adapt them to suit themselves... hahaha) anyway I finished this one last night and thought I would show you... I must however apologise about the photo... 12x12 pages are REALLY hard to photograph... well for me anyway!!!!

I first saw this layout on Karen Giron's Blog and LOVED the page she created, so thought I'd give it a go. The layout is actually from here but seen as I have been feeling 'Scrapbook Layout Challenged' at the moment it was AWESOME to be able to see the sketch actually made into a page.

I've used my brand new packet of 'Crew Kids - Girl' to make this page. I love this pack mainly because it contains Pink and Green and considering my girls are often in these two colours there is absolutely no shortage of beautiful pics to scrap.

I cut out some Green (Wild Wasabi) Flowers and some Grey ones too as I need quite a few for this page and the ones included in the kit were a bit large and I didn't want to take the focus away from my 'Beautiful Photos'.

I hope you like my page and I hope the girls like it tomorrow night.

I'll be back soon with some more goodies to show you.

Sarah

Here's what I used:-

Stamps:- Big Deal Alphabet, Simple Serif Alphabet
Paper:- Crew Kids - Girl - Wild Wasabi, Regal Rose, Basic Grey, Whisper White (Textured Cardstock)
Ink:- Regal Rose
Accessories:- Flower Punches (NOT SU!), Dimensionals, Cutter Kit.

A Happy New Year and a few bits to share!!!!

Firstly let me start by apologising for being 'MIA' lately!!! With Christmas, New Years, a little persons 2nd birthday party to organise ( a week before Christmas) and just generally being TIRED, TIRED and a little bit more tired and trying to deal with mmm... 5 stys in the last 3 weeks ( again I think due to being overly tired), I've been a tad neglectful of my blog... but no more.... I'm back and I do have a few goodies to share with you. So I hope ( if I haven't scared you off already, that you enjoy what I have to show you.

Before I show you all my bits and pieces I do hope that you all had a wonderful Christmas and want to wish you all a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! I hope it is a year filled with lots of wonderful memories and happy times spent with those that mean the most to you.

We had a lovely Christmas... of course it was Ella's very first and well she spent most of the day sleeping!!!... but Jorja of course had a wonderful day and It was absolutey awesome and amazing to sit and watch her get soooo excited. Mind you she pretty much had a whole week of excitement and presents with her birthday too. Here's a little pic of the two of us on Christmas Day... she's on her Lady Bug which Gee (Granny) and GanGa (GranDa) gave her, and I just adore this picture.

Ok here we go.

As I mentioned December is a crazy time of the year, not just because of Christmas, but also it is my Beautiful Jorja's birthday.... 5 days before Christmas!!!! So the first lot of projects I have to show you are a couple of Scrapbook pages I made.. I did want to make MANY MANY more, but time got away from me and trying to squeeze Chrissy preps, cards and a Mickey Mouse birthday cake to make in as well, I had to settle for just these ones for her special day.... I hope you like them.

The first one you've probably seen on my Blog before, but I thought I'd show you again given it was one of the pages I had displayed on her birthday... and I LOVE this page and picture of her.

This next one I got my inspiration for a page that Kristina Werner had created... I loved her layout so thought I'd make a similar page for Jorja's 2nd year!!!!

I used Wild Wasabi textured card stock as the base.... mainly because it was the same colour as the dress she was wearing in the picture... clever huh.... and clever SU! for making such awesome colours... I also used Regal Rose and Whisper White. The stamp set used was my Simple Serif Alphabet set and the rest was hand written.

And this page I used Groovy Guava and Cameo Coral ( a colour I've been a bit scared of before, but not any more!!!!), and given the photos were taken at the zoo I thought it was fitting to use my Wild About You stamp set... with a little bit of Bling added!!!!

I also wanted to show you the Birthday card I made for Jorja.... again similar to one I've made before... but I LOVE the layout so I HAD to make it!!!

And given I'm a PINK girl...well her card just had to have varying shades of pink on it!!! hahaha.
Anyway.. I used Chocolate Chip as the base and layered Regal Rose, PRetty in Pink and Whisper White card which were tied together using Regal Rose Wide Grosgrain. The Stamp set I used was Big BOld Birthday and I added some PINK Rhinestones for the 'Chips' on the cupcake.

Now what else to I have to show you.... well Jorja shares her birthday with my Aunty and I thought I'd whip up a little something for her too.

I first made these Card Holders with Keesh, when she invited me to one of her team stamping nights (which I enjoyed soooo much) and I loved them... they are a fantastic idea for a gift for some one and don't take too much time to make. Inside they hold 2 cards and envelopes. For the folder I used Wild Wasabi and Really Rust Card and the Apple Cider DSP which was in the Spring Mini and unfortunately isn't available anymore. I also used my Corner Rounder to create the scallop, however I WILL be purchasing the 'Scallop Edge Punch' soooo much easier and quicker!!! And that wonderful punch is available in the current Summer Mini!!!! I also used some River Rock card and my Round Tab punch to create the large circle followed by my scallop punch ( Really Rust) and image was stamped on Very Vanilla using my Boho Background stamp set.

Inside were two cards that looked like this:-

For these I used River Rock as the card base and some Wild Wasabi which i created a Scallop Edge with and some more of the Apple Cider DSP. Ive also used some River Rock Double Stitched Ribbon and the sentiment is from my So Many Sayings (Hostess Set) stamp set.

And finally here is the little gift card I made to give to her:-

I've just used a Love Note (Whisper White) and added some flowers from the 'Felt Fusion' tin which is available in the Summer Mini and the sentiment is from the Short and Sweet stamp set.

Ok I think I've probably given you a SJ overload for one post... but I do have more things to share with you... but lucky for you I still have to upload and edit the photos....

I hope you enjoyed looking at some of my creations and hope to see you back here soon.

Take care

A Little Little One Kristina Challenge!!!

Another week has flown by, and apart from almost chopping my finger off (oh that is a whole other story!!) I've had a good week, busy but good!!! And of course I've managed to sit myself down for another Kristina challenge.

Here is this weeks colour inspiration:-

The colours this week are Pale Plum, Perfect Plum, Bordering Blue, Sage Shadow and Certainly Celery.

I've gone a little different this week. It's Jorja's second birthday next Saturday and I want to create a couple of Scrapbook pages of her for the day, so I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to make one... and soooo I did.. You must however forgive me for the photo.. I will take another tomorrow outside, but I didn't want to miss the deadline, so I HAD to take one inside!!!!

Anyway... I've used Perfect Plum as the Base and layered it with some Certainly Celery DSP. The photo is mounted onto a piece of Pale Plum. My flowers are from the Bodacious Bouquet set and I've used Pale Plum then 'Rock and Rolled' the edges in Perfect Plum to give it some depth, the centre flower is stamped in Perfect Plum with a Blue brad in the centre. I used my Big Deal Alphabet and my Simple Serif Alphabet sets for the title which I've stamped in Sage Shadow, Certainly Celery, Pale Plum and Perfect Plum.

So there you have it... My beautiful 'Little Little One' having an OH so RARE moment of stillness... I absolutely ADORE this picture of her. I hope you like it too.

LOVE!!!! Scrapbook Layout!!!!

Here is a Scrapbook Layout I made as a Challenge for the Demo's online group. It was set by the very talented Makessha, and considering I don't often make Scrapbook pages, it was indeed a challenge for me..... BUT!!!! I REALLY did enjoy making it.

I used a photo I'd taken of my gorgeous little Jorja on Sunday at Daniel's Birthday Party in the park. The minute I saw the Challenge, I knew exactly this was the photo for the job. Firstly here is the Challenge Layout for you to see:-

And here is my creation:-

It's EXTREMELY hard to get a good photo of Miss Jorja at the moment, she is either too busy running around or too busy trying to get to the other side of the camera to see what photo I've taken, so I was quite proud of ME for actually getting TWO photos of her, one on the slide as she got to the bottom and one walking with Daddy... which she wouldn't actually known I was taking... but I'm still going to pretend I was clever!!! hahaha. Anyway... those who know the beautiful Jorja will also know that at the moment, we can't go anywhere without her most FAVOURITE hat... she wears it everywhere... from around the house, in the car, shopping even to bed... yes BED!!!! so I used the colours of her hat as the inspiration for the colours on the page.
Here is a shot of the page with her HAT!!!! (well I couldn't leave it out...)

I've used River Rock Textured Cardstock for the base and used Pretty in Pink as the first border, which I've done some Faux Stitching using my Piercing Mat and Needle. Then the square is Rose Red and you probably wont be able to see it in the photo but I've used the 'Flower' stamp from my Boho Background Stampset to decorate it. The circle is made with Pretty in Pink and again I've used my Boho Background set, this time the 'Circles' to decorate.
The flowers are from my Bodacious Bouquet Set and I've created the two on the left using the 'Rock and Roll' Technique using Pretty in Pink and Rose Red Ink and a Rose Red flower and Pretty in Pink Brad for the centre, the swirl is made with River Rock Ink (stamp from Bodacious Bouquet. The flower on the right is stamped in Rose Red with a Pretty in Pink and silver brad for the centre.
The title is made using my 'Big Deal Alphabet' stamp set and has been stamped in Pretty in Pink and River Rock, I've just added a Rose Red Flower and Pretty in Pink brad to highlight the 'O'. I've written my journaling on Pretty in Pink cardstock strips, which I've 'Faux Stitched'.

Sooooo.... I hope you like my little creation.
