flower pots, flower pots and MORE flower pots

Hello There!!!! It's been a tad quiet around here this past few days... SORRY!!!! But I have a VERY good reason for that, and I'm going to show you what it was that's been keeping me so very busy.

My GORGEOUS Ella Bella is turning ONE in a few weeks... ONE!!!! And apart from the usual "Mummy find it hard to come to terms with" moments, and the "where on earth did that YEAR go" thoughts!!!! I've been BUSY, BUSY making her sweet little birthday party invitations.

NOW.... for those of you that know me, or have been visiting for a wee while, you'll also know that I tend to go a BIG BIT crazy with these little projects, and well this one is no exception.... ME and my ideas!!!!!!

So.... want to see.....:-

Here is the group shot!!!!... Yep 20 odd of these delightful little flowerpots... that's 20 flower pots, 60 odd flowers and well, I've lost count of the leaves, and YEP... I cut them ALL out!!!! CRAZY right!!!!. I must admit, I did have the occassional... "What on earth was I thinking" moment, but... I'm so glad I did them... they're soooo cute!!!

Here's one in all its cute glory.... they really are sweet and in the singular form, REALLY fun and easy to make.

Here's what the inside looks like when you slide it out of the little flower pot.

So there you go... that's what's been keeping me so busy this week. Now I just have to POST them all oh and decide what cake to make and plan the little party... oh I do love being a MUMMY!!!!

Be sure to pop back this week though, I'll have some more fun things to show you and some more exciting news.

Thanks for dropping by.

Best Wishes... Mmmmmm

Hi There!!!

I've been sitting here at my desk for pretty much most of the evening trying to decided WHAT to make. Well OK lets be honest... I've been procrastinating.
I finally came up with a card, but I'm not too sure about it. Not really sure if I like it or not, but I figured given I've been sitting here for so long, I'd better post something to show for it.. Hahaha.

So here is my "Mmmmmm" card:-

I'm still waiting for my new goodies to arrive (New In Colours etc)... yep been procrastinating about that too... so I thought I'd use up some of my old (you know the three day retired OLD goodies!!) hahaha. I've used Soft Sky, Blue Bayou and Falls Flowers DSP. Some Soft Sky Ribbon and my fave and RETIRED too Bodacious Bouquet Stamp.

Well I hope you like it.. maybe a cup of Milo and some Chocolate will change my mind and I'll like it a bit more.

Be back soon.. Thanks for stopping by.

Sweet Sunday Sketch #9 - Pink Friend!!!

Hello!!!

Been a tad quiet this week...SO SORRY!!!... But you don't even want me to get started on the list of things I need to get done!!! WOW... talk about loading myself up!!!! Anyway.. I LOVE participating in Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch, so I couldn't resist... but... I must get onto my Baby Shower Invites...well not mine, but the one's I'm making.

This weeks sketch from Karen is......

Isn't it just gorgeous??

And here is my card.. (Be warned there is a substantial amount of PINK on this card!!!!)

My last few cards have be somewhat lacking in PINK, so I just couldn't resist, and given I'm about to create 25 odd Baby Shower invites, which will have NO pink, I REALLY needed to get my fix.

Hope you like. I've used some Spring Fling DSP (soon to be retired) and I had to get some more cards made with my fave Bodacious Bouquet before it too is retired (*sigh*).

Sorry it's so short, but as well as the Baby Shower Invites, I've just remembered I have to create, make and cut my card stock for a Stamp-a-Stack on Tuesday Night!!!!!

Bye for now and thanks for stopping by.

Be Happy.. Summer

Hi There!!! I've got a quick post for you, but will hopefully be back soon with some more goodies to share.

The card I've made is actually a replica of this one, but I decided to give it a go in a different colour scheme... something a little more summery!!! Hope you like it....

This time around I've based my colours on the 'Summer Picnic DSP' which isn't available at the moment (fingers crossed it makes it into the NEW CATTIE!!!!). So, my base was Certainly Celery, which I stamped with my Polka Dot Background Stamp and embossed with Clear Embossing Powder. Then I went about layering... we've got Whisper White with a scallop edge of Bashful Blue DSP from Summer Picnic, then Certainly Celery which I dry embossed with my Crop-a-dile. I added some Old Olive Wide Grosgrain Ribbon and my flowers are from the DieCut Blooms (also unfortunately unavailable at the moment, but hopefully not for long) in Real Red, and Bashful Blue. The centre flower is Old Olive and is from my Felt Fusion Goodie Tin!!! The leaves are stamped in Old Olive and are from my GORGEOUS Bodacious Bouquet set (a set which UNFORTUNATELY is going to be retiring, sooooo if you want this set let me know ASAP... because once it's gone... it's GONE!!!! Oh, and the flowers on the top are just cut out from some more of the delcious Summer Picnic DSP. The sentiment is stamped in Real Red and is from my very well used So Many Sayings set.

So there you go... Which one do you prefer... the one from this post (in Autumn Browns and Oranges) or this one.

Sweet Sunday Sketch!!!

I've been wanting to participate in the Sweet Sunday Sketch over at Karen Giron's Blog for the past three weeks.... and FINALLY I've made my card BEFORE the deadline. Karen provides a sketch and all we have to do is come up with a design. So... here is the Sketch we had to work with.
And here is the card I came up with:-

Yep...you guessed it I've used Pinks and Greens AGAIN!!! I just can't help myself and I seem to be having a Bodacious Bouquet moment also... seems to be popping up on quite a few of my cards lately.

Anyway... I've used Old Olive as the base and layered it with some Very Vanilla and a piece of Old Olive DSP from the Summer Picnic DSP Pack. Onto that I've used some Certainly Celery and Certainly Celery DSP then another layer of Old Olive and Very Vanilla. The sentiment is from Short and Sweet and is stamped in Rose Red and the flower is from the Bodacious Bouquet set. I've coloured the stamp with my Stampin' write markers in Rose Red and Regal Rose to get the darker effect on the outside of the flower. Add a dash of Regal Rose Ribbon, some brads and pop it up on some dimensionals and 'Voila' all done.

Hope you like it.

Bye for now.

A Challenge from Keesh!!!

I'm Back!!! WOW this must be some kind of record... well for me anyway!!!

One of my goals for the New Year is to sit down and participate in more Challenges and I think I'm off to a pretty good start.. Two challenges in a week.. YAY.

So.. Keesh is in charge of setting challenges for the online Demo Group I'm lucky to be a part of and here is her challenge for this week:-

This week she set a 'Sketch' Challenge and here is the card I came up with:- (I wonder if you can guess what colours I chose!!! hahaha)

I've used Regal Rose as the base with a layer of Certainly Celery DSP, the I've added some Rose Red DSP which I've 'Scalloped' (and let me say I CAN'T WAIT FOR MY SCALLOP EDGE PUNCH TO ARRIVE!!) - oops sorry for shouting!!!.. and then added a layer of Regal Rose which I've dry embossed with my Crop-a-dile (I'm a little obsessed with this technique at the moment.) and to that I've tied a bow in Certainly Celery Wide Grosgrain. My image is layered onto a piece of Rose Red and Whisper White card stock and the flower is from my Bodacious Bouquet set (which I just love) and that is stamped in Pretty in Pink and Regal Rose, the leaves are of course Certainly Celery. The sentiment is from my So Many Sayings (Hostess Set) and stamped in Certainly Celery onto Whisper White. The side panel and the flowers section have both been propped up on some dimensionals.

Hope you like.
