Live Your Dreams!!!!
I thought I'd have another take of Keesh's challenge for this week. The Challenge was to case the current cattie for a layout...well this time I actually used the layout we used at the Regionals we had last weekend and used the new stamp set 'Live Your Dreams' which we also received, and will be available in the Summer Mini Catalogue (so keep your eyes open for more details on that one!!!!)
Here is my card:-
This really is a simple layout, and when it's altogether looks gorgeous.
I actually made this for my mum to give to a friend of hers who is leaving Australia for Italy to have medical treatment this week. (I made a little pen holder and covered some pens and a notebook for her and a little Keyring ala Keesh!! too - I'll post those a bit later!!!). So I've used Old Olive Card stock as the base and stamped it with the butterfly from the Stamp set then used the large flower and stamped that in Old Olive for the stems and Soft Sky for the flowers, then I re-stamped the flowers and cut them out added a bit of Dazzling Diamonds ( I'm a little obsessed with Dazzling Diamonds at the moment.. hahaha) and popped them up on some dimensionals. I stamped the little butterfly above the flowers in Really Rust and the sentiment ' A Little Something' is from the Level 1 Hostess set 'So Many Sayings' which I've stamped in Sahara Sand. The top layer of the card is in Soft Sky Cardstock which I've pierced and faux stitched and the bottom layer is a piece of Fall Flowers DSP and a bit of Soft Sky Double Stitched Ribbon.
Hope you like it.
Here's everything I used:-
Stamps:- Live your Dreams, So Many Sayings (Level 1 Hostess)
Card:- Old Olive, Soft Sky, Confetti White, Fall Flowers DSP
Ink:- Old Olive, Soft Sky, Really Rust, Sahara Sand
Accessories:- Dimensionals, 2 way Glue Pen, Dazzling Diamonds, Soft Sky Double Stitched Ribbon, Paper Piercing Mat/Needle, White Gel Pen.

Pink Boho!!!! With some BLING!!!!
Good Morning!!!!
I'm very proud of myself... I sat myself down last night and made a card for our online Demo's Weekly Challenge, which was set by the lovely Keesh!!! We had to use a layout from the Catty and come up with our own creation. I had heaps of fun making this card, so much so, that I didn't actually realise what the time was... it was indeed well after 11pm... so considering that, I'm even more proud of myself. It also helped to be sitting... helps ease the 'Heart Burn' that BabyK#2 is causing me at the moment!!! hahaha.
Anyway here is a photo of the card I came up with:-
The layout is from page 85 of the current cattie and I've used my Boho Backgrounds stampset to create this.
Being a PINK girl and possibly also due to the impending arrival of Baby K#2 who is also a little PINK person (phew!!) I decided to go with a PINK card... well I can't help myself!!!. Soooo... I've used Pretty in Pink as the base which I've stamped with the 'flowers' from Boho Backgrounds in Pretty in Pink Ink... the card layers are 'Barely Banana (I think), and Mellow Moss and I've added a strip of Regal Rose Ribbon...mmmmm!!!! Then I stamped the large flower/patter from the set in Regal Rose onto some Whisper White and punched out the centre flower then cut it out and dipped it into some Dazzling Diamonds (seems to be the theme for me lately... Pink and Dazzling!!!) then added a silver brad to the centre and popped it up on a dimensional in the centre. The sentiment ' Wonderful Friend' is also from the same stamp set which I've stamped in Regal Rose on some Pretty in Pink Card, roughed up the edges a bit and just adhered to the base. I might actually try and make another of these today MINUS any pink...maybe a BOY version.. now that is a challenge...well for me anyway!!! hahaha.
Have a great day, and hope you like my card.

Colour Challenge #23
Here is Kristina's Colour Challenge for this week. And I'm very proud of myself for actually sitting down and making a card for this weeks.... I missed out last week.
So here is our inspiration:-
The colours for this week are Bravo Burgundy, Chocolate Chip, Pumpkin Pie, So Saffron and Old Olive.
And here is what I came up with:-
Unfortunately I didn't have any Bravo Burgundy Card stock so I substituted it for some Cranberry Crist (retired). I've used the 'Live Your Dream' stamp set, which I've stamped in VersaMark and then coloured using my Stampin' Pastels in Bravo Burgundy, Pumpkin Pie and So Saffron... the stems in Old Olive. The Butterfly is also stamped in Versamark and coloured in Bravo Burgundy (Pastels) and the 'Thankyou' sentiment is also from the same stamp set and is stamped in Chocolate Chip. I've torn some Old Olive Cardstock and 'Faux Stitched' it before attaching it to the top of the card and the bottom layer is some So Saffron DSP. Finished off with some Wide Chocolate Chip Grosgrain.
Hope you like.

Ok...I think this will be the last one for the night.... Three Posts in one night.... OUSTANDING but my lord my fingers are SORE!!!!!
Just wanted to share with you the card I whipped up tonight for a Baby Shower I'm going to tomorrow.
Such a busy weekend... most enjoyable for sure, but extremely busy... I'll share with you all the goss about the Stampin' Up! Regional Seminar I went to today....but I'll do that post tomorrow or Monday.
Now back to the Baby Shower!!!!
Yep you guessed it the Baby Shower is for a GIRL baby!!!! I've used the Elephant and Bird from the Wild About You Set (my FAVE!!!). First up, I've stamped some Very Vanilla Card Stock using one of the Stamps from Boho Backgrounds and my VersaMark Ink Pad, to give it a Watermark effect, although you probably can't see it too clearly from my photo. (I must invest in some embossing equipment!!!!). Then I've stamped the Elephant in Pretty in Pink and added some extra dimension by stamping HER ear in Regal Rose, dipping it in some Dazzling Diamonds and popping it up on a Dimensional. The Bird I stamped in Regal Rose, and she got dipped too!!!!
Layered onto some Regal Rose Card and a splash of the GORGEOUS Regal Rose Wide Grosgrain, and there you have it .... my Baby Shower Card.
Ok.... that's me out for the night... of to rest this body and BUMP!!!!
Here is what I used:-
Stamps:- Boho Backgrounds, Wild About You
Card:- Very Vanilla, Regal Rose
Ink:- VersaMark, Regal Rose, Pretty in Pink
Accessories:- Regal Rose Wide Grosgrain, Two Way Glue Pen, Dazzling Diamonds, Dimensionals.

Cards from Becs!!!!
I've been meaning to post these cards up all week... but unfortunately TIME slipped away from me... so while I've just finished typing a MARATHON post about our Seasons of Joy Night, I thought I'd catch up on everything else I wanted to show you all. Gosh I hope you've got your cuppa with you!!!
Here are a couple of the cards we made at Bec's workshop last Friday Night.
The first two cards are the same layout just in different colours..... one for a girl and one for a boy.
Firstly... I used Pumpkin Pie as the base which I stamped with the 'Bubbles' (I think they're bubbles!!! hahaha) from the Big Bold Birthday stamp set in Pumpkin Pie. Then I used some Confetti White Card which I pierced around the edge using my piercing mat and needle then added a strip of Blue Bayou which had been stamped with the 'Circles' from the Big Bold Birthday set in Blue Bayou Ink and then tied some Blue Bayou Double Stitched Ribbon around it before popping it all up on some Dimensionals and stuck to the Pumpkin Pie. The cupcake again from Big Bold Birthday is stamped using Pumpkin Pie for the base and Real Red for the top, add a little candle and it's all done.
Here is the same card in different colours...
I've used Mellow Moss as the base and Pretty in Pink for the strip. The cupcake is stamped using Mellow Moss and Close to Cocoa. Oh and of course some Pretty in Pink Grosgrain.
Next card is a Baby Card.... again we made this card in two colours, but you've already seen the BOY version on a previous post here, so I'll just show you the GIRL one!!!
I've used the Wild About You Stamp set and the sentiment is from the So Many Sayings (Hostess Level 1) Set. The base is Very Vanilla and I've used Regal Rose as the bottom layer, some Mellow Moss which I stamped using the Boho Background set, then the Giraffe is stamped in Pretty in Pink onto Very Vanilla Card and layered on Pretty in Pink and Regal Rose... oh and we mustn't forget the gorgeous little bird which I stamped in Regal Rose. This part was stuck down using dimensionals. The ribbon is Pretty in Pink Grosgrain and the sentiment is layered in the same way as the Giraffe.
And the last card.... Bec asked me to include a Wedding Card, sooo, here is what I came up with.
I've used Very Vanilla Cardstock as the base and stamped the flower background in Black Ink from the Boho Background Stamp Set, on the bottom half of the card.
Then I used the hearts from Forever in My Heart and stamped them in Basic Black onto some Very Vanilla and of course added some BLING to the edges of the top heart using my two-way glue pen and Dazzling Diamonds. The Heart is layered onto some Black and Basic Grey Cardstock and added to the card using dimensionals. Oh I almost forgot.... a splash of some Black Ribbon and all done....
Hope you like these cards.... let me know what you think.
Here is what I used for them all:-

Seasons of Joy!!!
As promised, albeit a tad late... here are some piccies of the cards we made at the 'Season's of Joy' Night held at my place on Wednesday night.
All of these cards use the 'Seasons of Joy' stamp set which is currently available in the Spring Mini Catalogue, and I have to say... I LOVE THIS STAMP SET!!!!!
First up is.....
For this card we used Real Red as the card base and then some of the Dashing DSP which was layered onto a piece of Very Vanilla Card which we'd stamped with the 'Merry Christmas' stamp out of the set. The Real Red Grosgrain hides the join where the two papers meet and the embelishment at the top uses the Poinsettia flower out of the set which has been stamped in River Rock Ink onto some River Rock Card then punched out using a circle punch and layered onto an Old Olive Scallop, oh and lets not forget the little brad in the centre. I've layered these layers onto the Real Red using Dimensionals.
Card number 2 is.....
Mmmm.... well... this card very nearly ended up in the RUBBISH bin!!!! YEP!!! I cant even begin to tell you how much trouble I had getting this to look right!!!!. The idea for this card was from Karen Thomas who's card was ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS... but when I tried to get it to work with Old Olive and Real Red... well it just wasn't working for me. I ended up adding a tiny piece of Old Olive Wide Grosgrain Ribbon, some Dazzling Diamonds... well they say Diamonds can fix anything!!! hahaha and then did some smudging around the edges with some Old Olive Ink using my sponge dauber. The bow I made using some Real Red Grosgrain and although you can't see it in the photo there is the Merry Christmas sentiment stamped in Real Red onto the Red Card. I'm still not 100% happy with this one, but all of the lovely ladies who came loved it... and that's all that matters!!! (THANKS Girls!!!!)
Card No. 3.... PLEASE Bear with me..... this really is a long post!!!
This card uses the Swirl, Christmas Tree and Merry Christmas sentiment from the Seasons of Joy Stamp set. We stamped the swirl in Old Olive onto the Old Olive Cardstock and then stamped the tree and words in Old Olive onto, I think Very Vanilla Card stock (it was either Very Vanilla or Whisper White) and tied some Old Olive Wide Grosgrain around it before sticking it to some Real Red Card stock. You can't see it clearly in the picture, but there is also some extra sparkle added to the tree.... it was a Dazzling Diamond free for all!!!!!!
And last but not least... Card No. 4
Here is a list of everything used for each card:-
Card No.1
Stamps:- Seasons of Joy
Card:- Real Red, Very Vanilla, Dashing DSP, River Rock, Old Olive
Ink:- Real Red, River Rock
Accessories:- Real Red Grosgrain, Scallop Punch, Circle Punch, Brad, Dimensionals.

You may remember this card from this post (my special PINK chrissy card), well I just love this layout, so I made it in TRADITIONAL Chrissy colours. The Real Red Card Base is stamped with the large and small flowers from the set and then the wording stamp is stamped in Real Red onto Whisper White and adhered to some Old Olive Card using Dimensionals, which is then adhered to the Real Red Card with Dimensionals... oops before attaching we tied some Real Red Wide Grosgrain around it too.
So there you have it... the four cards we made at our Season's of Joy Night... oh and of course we made another Chockie Slider the same as in this post.

Happy Father's Day!!!!
Well what a BUSY day today has been!!! And come to think of it, yesterday too.... that was busy making cards for 'Daddy', Granda (or GanGa as Jorja says) and Papa.
Thought I'd show you all the cards I made for Father's Day.... Hope you like them:-
First up... the card we made for Daddy (Shaney):-
I got the idea for this card from here. I just adore this stamp set and have now found yet another way to use it. JUST GORGEOUS. For the sentiment, because I don't actually have any 'Fathers Day' Stamps I used the 'Happy Birthday' Stamp from 'It's your Birthday' and just inked up the HAPPY and the DAY parts of it in Pumpkin Pie and then hand wrote 'Daddy's' in myself. Considering the time of night I was making these cards... I was quite impressed with myself!!! hahaha.
Next up the card we made for GranDa (aka GanGa):-
Thankyou Di for your wonderful cards..... I've just changed the colours around a bit here, not much though:-
Both of these cards I've used the Jersy Shore DSP as well as Wild About You and as I said before stamps from 'It's Your Birthday'!.
And finally the card we made for Papa:-
I've been wanting to make one of these Tie/Shirt Cards for ages... and finally got around to making one... what better time than for Fathers Day. Again much easier than I thought it was going to be, and I will definately be making more of these. Aren't they CUTE!!!!
There isn't actually any stamping on this one, I've just used Whisper White and Jersey Shore DSP.
So a HUGE 'Happy Father's/Daddy's Day' to all of the Daddys out there, hope you all had a wonderful day!!!!
Sarah
xx
Here is everything I used for the cards:-

Oh So Lovely!!!!
I've been a tad quiet lately, haven't I??? So SORRY about that.... Have been REALLY busy... planning and cutting cards for our 'Tart and Tangy' Class last week..... which was soooo much fun (yes I will post some more pics of that soon...well of the little treats I made for the girls!!!) and then planning, making and cutting cards for our 'Seasons of Joy' Class this week and of course making and cutting cards for the Lovely Bec's Workshop on Friday Night....(HELLOOOO BEC!!!!).
I will post some photos of the cards we made at Bec's soon, must recharge the camera battery first though and then of course prepare my BUMP for another 'On the Ground, Deck, Photo Shoot', which is becoming increasingly MORE DIFFICULT to pull off... hahahaha.
Anyway back on track... here are some pictures of the set of cards and card holder I made as a gift for Bec. I've seen many of these card/letter holders made and thought it was about time I made one for myself. And I don't know why it's taken me so long, they really are so EASY to make and look so gorgeous when they are all together.
The lovely Sarah Klass had made a set of cards for one of her Hostesses using the gorgeous 'Oh So Lovely' Hostess Stamp Set.... which I must admit until just recently I had overlooked in the catalouge, but not anymore!!!!!.. So I got my inspiration from Sarah and changed the colours and dimension of the cards a tad for Bec.
And here they all are:-
I've used Confetti White Cardstock for all of them and the inks and ribbons are all from the current 'In-Colours' range. The first one is made with Purely Pomegrante, the second with Blue Bayou and lastly, Groovy Guava.
Here is a pic of the Card Holder I made to put them all in:-
This first shot is of the finished card holder all closed up... I just made a Belly Band with Soft Sky and Blue Bayou Cardstock and stamped another flower and coloured it in then attached it to a scallop which I'd punched the centre out of. And here is an open shot of it with all of the cards and envelopes:-
This gift really was a pleasure to make and not only 'Oh so Lovely' but 'Oh so Easy'. And such a beautiful gift to give to someone special.
Have I managed to convince you to hold you're own Workshop.... you may even qualify to choose either this gorgeous Oh So Lovely Stamp set or the ever versatile 'So Many Sayings' Stamp set for yourself. Contact me if you are interested!!!!
I hope you like them!!!
Here is a list of everything I used:-

Ink:- Wild Wasabi, Groovy Guava, Blue Bayou, Purely Pomegranate, River Rock
