OoOoOooo, seems like Raw Food Adventures are hotting up down under in Australia...we hear that MANY raw food speakers are zipping down that way to share some yumminess this year – the lovely Boutenko ladies, Gabriel Cousens and even Dr. Fred Bisci are apparently all going south soon – WOW, I haven’t even ever seen Dr. Bisci speak yet ;) lol...

One reader – Lila – who is visiting the beautiful Margaret River region of Australia wrote recently to tell us that she’s helping out at an amazing new organic raw eatery/yoga studio/shop/garden centre, called Samudra. Lila wrote:
“Samudra offers a full schedule of yoga classes, a retail shop featuring custom-designed organic clothing and an amazing raw "food room" with outdoor seating and permaculture garden. It's a great place to work and a beautiful place to live right near the beach.”
…aaaaaaaaaaaand…Exciting Opportunity Alert ;) :
The owner of Samudra, Sheridan, is currently looking for two qualified raw food chefs AND an event/function manager. FUN :) Candidates must be under 31 years of age to qualify for an Aussie work visa OR be an Australia/New Zealand resident. Qualified candidates should email: lila (at) samudra (dot) com (dot) au for more info. FUN :)

...and while we’re knocking around down under, let’s pay a little visit too, to Casey – a lovely woman who we met while in Australia this time last year. Casey had chronic eczema and Mr. M and I gave some guidance to help her move through that and heal. She now has a beautiful new website HERE and has lots of yummy things on offer there, like a free report on ‘awakening your va–va–voooom’… ;)

ENJOY :)

As I write this, I’m on Day 2 of a Green Juice F(e)ast. YummmMmmMmMmmmmm...I’ve actually never f(e)asted on JUST green juice before, I think...always some carrot juice usually too, or fruits, coconuts etc – just greeeeeeeeeeeeeens for now though and WOW – what an impact it has – feels sooooo very clean and cleansing... it’s quite amazing to me to go a whole day with nothing but green things passing my lips (except water)...
Speaking of green juice, in our latest video on TheRawFoodWorld, you can meet my parents, as I deliver them some greeeeeeeeeen juice – will they like it? You can see HERE ;)

Mr. M also recently reviewed Blessings’ Kale Chips HERE.
The ‘Quite Cheesey’ kale chips are indeed ridiculously good – one of the tastiest raw food products I’ve ever tried. There’s still MASSES of kale knocking abt in the Northern Hemisphere at the moment it seems, so, if you have some kale, plus a dehydrator, you can even make your OWN kale chips :) Annmarie and Kevin Gianni demonstrate how to make Kale Chips HERE and there’s also a popular–looking recipe HERE on RawFreedomCommunity for kale chips (check out the outrageously cute picture of a puppy eating kale chips on there too ;). Plus remember that you can learn to make your own dehydrator HERE if you don’t have one ;)

I’m feeling SO excited about the Funky Raw Festie in Sussex this weekend – just about to head off there very soon as I write this...and reflecting on the beautiful synchronicity that it’s coinciding with a Full Moon in Aquarius tomorrow, on Saturday – how IDEAL :) We’re just coming out of a New Moon in Leo and here’s some of what marvellous astrologer Lisa Dale Miller shares about this Full Moon tomorrow:

“This is the Full Moon for involvement in something larger than you. Remember that Aquarius rules the breakdown of the old ways by questioning the status quo. Those who create revolutionary change in societies are always the ones who can vision far beyond accepted beliefs and structures. Step fully into a commitment to teach and serve by breaking down the attraction to focusing only on your own life. Selfless giving to others is a true Aquarian vision of working for the collective upliftment of all sentient beings. This is the Full Moon to honor freedom, idealism, humanitarianism, egalitarianism, and the revolutionary impulse toward reform, without causing harm to anyone. Aquarius is the impulse to raise-up everyone and leave no one behind. So in service to these calls to action, become responsible and find out what is really happening around you. Get involved in your community, volunteer your time, and raise awareness in your neighborhood. It’s summer, have a block party and raise funds for a good cause.”

Sounds wonderful – enjoy your celebrations, brothers and sisters :) You can read Lisa's report in full on her site HERE.
