MYRIAM

Hi! For this challenge I used Victorian Goth Boy from our sponsor Meljens Design.

DORIS

Hello eveyone. I decided to make the sketch card, using the Betty Boots from our amazing sponsor That Craft Place.

For this sketch challenge, I chose the lovely Little Lady Claire provided by our generous sponsor Meljen's Designs . I try to adapt the sketch to my own style and I`m really pleased with the result.

Hi everyone! For this sketch challenge I used the beautiful Little girl bear hugs.
of our sponsor Meljen's Designs . It's adorable, I put a very little hat in the bear.
He have a sailor hat, which I think makes it look even sweeter.

I loved how the bear is wearing his hat.

Cazzy
I used Sugar's Doggies from Ditzie Designs for my card - 50% of the profit goes to the Manchester Dog's home, and coloured her with Koh I Noor pencils. I don't have a hat so I followed the sketch. The paw print ribbons are a Crafty Ribbons exclusive.

Challenge #6 Winners of Let's play Quirky Dressing up, adding some ribbon.

It't time to announce our winners, and I was sad to see that hardly anyone understood, or maybe read the challenge brief through - I tried to spell it out, I clarified the post a few times, and I left individual comments hoping that people would come back - but it didn't seem to work.
Most of the entries do not qualify to be in the top three because they don't include children or pets in costume, or include ribbon.

We do have some winners however, a few people got it right, or nearly right and the team has voted and chosen our top three.

In first place winning our lovely Crafty Ribbons prize:

Congratulations Bonnie, because you live outside the UK you have won a £10 voucher from Crafty Ribbons.

In second place winning our Bugaboo 7 digi prize:

with her little bear dressed in rain wear, love the rain drops!
Congratulations Jean, you have won 7 images from Bugaboo.

In third place winning 2 images from Bugaboo:
with a cute owl dressed up in hat and scarf for Winter.
Congratulations Chrissy, you have won 2 digi images from Bugaboo.

Congratulations to all of you, please contact me (using the email link or the contact form if the link doesn't work) so that I can send your personalised winner's badges and get your prizes on the way to you.
We would love you all to be guest designers in our next challenge, if you would like to, please tell me if you can - or a later challenge!

Thank you to everyone who entered, and don't forget to check back later today to find out about our new challenge!

Challenge #6 reminder to come and play Quirky Dressing Up (of children or animals) and include ribbon.

Hi everyone, it's reminder time again. You have until Saturday 28th March to play Quirky Dress up with us.

Don't forget it is about children playing dress up, children in costumes, or pets in costumes, or animals in costumes and we want you to use ribbons, bows, any sort of ribbon, ribbon flowers - lets see some ribbon!

Children love playing doctor or nurse and dressing up, do you have cute photos, or cute stamps or digi images of children dressed up? Maybe dressed as Christmas reindeer, or as an Easter bunny - or as an animal.

Any project is acceptable of course, the more variety the better, layouts, boxes, clothes, paintings - as long as they have ribbon and children playing dress up!

It was hard to find a pets video that didn't include something that might be offensive, and this was the best of the bunch. It is a bit of fun, do the animals actually like this? My dogs would hate to dress up, they don't like clothes.

I want to see kids or pets dressed up in costume, either digi or stamped characters or maybe photos of your children or pets - and please include some ribbon on your project.

Guest Designer

Fit Kitty

I chose an adorable image from Bugaboo Digi Stamps called Flower Bird and coloured it with my Prismacolor pencils. I tried a new technique called Fold-out Window Card that I learned in Stretching Your Dies Online Card Class (I won this class; thank you, Laura!). It was really fun to make! I finally used my Spellbinders Blossom Two dies - I've had these for over a year and this is the first time I've used them! On the front of the card, I added a triple-looped bow, made from EK Success ribbon, and three yellow gems. For the sentiment, I stamped a Clearly Besotted stamp repeatedly on a gold strip and then affixed along the bottom. On the inside of the card, the image was die-cut with my Simon Says Stamps Stitched Rectangle.  I stamped a sentiment from Newton's Nook and added three gold dots, one was die-cut using my Nellie's Multiframe Circles and two made with handheld hole-punches.

This is such a cute image called Bugaboo Brats Bugs - Caterpillar. I put my sleeping child on a die cut bench in the garden (where all good caterpillars should be) surrounded by butterflies, and I used chiffon polka dot ribbon, and grosgrain ribbon with hearts both from Crafty Ribbons.

Challenge #6 Let's Play Quirky Dressing up - (kids or pets) and include some ribbon.

Hi it's my turn (Cazzy) to set the challenge and I decided that we should play Quirky Dress up, I hope you will have fun playing along with this one!

To see who won the last challenge see the post below this one.

Now for this challenge I want to see projects that include children dressed up in costumes being something they are not, like animals, nurses, firemen, superheros even Halloween monsters, or it could be pets in costume, a dog dressed as a bee for example. Bugaboo have lots of great digi images you could use, or you might have photos of your kids or pets dressed up to show us.

Please also add ribbon to your project, because one of our lovely sponsors is Crafty Ribbons.

Our lovely sponsors this time are:

Who are providing first prize of Ribbons to UK entrants of these lovely new ribbons exclusive to Crafty Ribbons:

or a voucher to non UK entrants ( UK entrants can choose voucher or ribbons)

and

Who are providing 7 images of your choice for second prize, and 2 images of your choice for third prize, and have provided all images that the team used.

Now for some inspiration from the team:

First our Guest Designers

For my image, I chose this adorable Rainy Day Bear - Rain Rain from Bugaboo Digi Stamps and I coloured him with my Prismacolor pencils.  I used My Creative Time Scalloped Stitched Ovals to die-cut the image and layers. On the base of the card, I added a panel of patterned paper and some polka dot ribbon that I won from Crafty Ribbons (thank you, Ali!). I stamped a sentiment from Impression Obsession Sentiments 1 clear stamps and doodled faux stitching around the edge of the patterned paper.  I decided to keep this card fairly CAS as I wanted it to be suitable for a male.  I think the little bear needs some cheering up!

This card was made with the Awesome Bugaboo stamp called "Bugaboo Brats Bugs-Butterfly". Isn't she just the cutest? I colored her up with my Copic Markers and white gel pen. I cut out a butterfly template and embossed it with a dot Sizzix Embossing folder, added some wire for the antenna's and a couple little bows to the top for decoration. Then added some mini glitter flower shapes.

Lorraine also used Rainy Day Bear - Rain Rain and how spooky - the same colours and nearly the same layout as Kitty lol.

2 month Guest Designer

DEBORAH

I used two adorable little stamps by Bugaboo Kidlet Doctor & Kidlet Nurse Aren't they just darling playing dressup. I combined with a sweet red/white gingham ribbon, DCWV Sunday Afternoon Stack with silver stickles and an old SU stamp collection Happy Healing.

Finally the Design Team:

MYRIAM

I worked with this beautiful digi AKV pirate monkey-sword from Bugaboo stamps
and I made this pirate ship....AHOY!!!

For my today project, I decided to make a Gift Bag using the sweet image Baby Flower 1 , from Bugaboo Digi Stamps. I used Spectrum Noir, some glitter and different papers. For flower I used PL1, PL2 and PL3. For color skin I used FS1, FS2, FS5 and FS8. Finally for a diaper I used CG1, CG2 and DG3.

Hi people! Today in my project, I choose two beautiful digis from our sponsor Bugaboo Stamps. I used to the Kidlet-Wizard  and Kidlet-Witch. I made a card, a castle for  the magic party to the children. The little witch wearing a small loop on your clothes. I colored the digis with Acuarelable pencils and Spectrum Noir pencils.

For this week project, I got from our sponsor Bugaboo, the lovely Bobblehead Kids Bunny, an adorable little girl dressed up as the Easter Bunny, perfect to match with an Easter card. I colored the digi with Graph´it markers.

I have here two little boys dressed as rabbits. I started off with the very cute Bugaboo Brat - Boy Easter Bunny, who is fast asleep, then I thought what is he sleeping on - had to be Easter eggs they were perfect, and I added a friend who is carrying a WOE Big Egg, because all the digis come in .png as well as .jpg it was easy to create this scene. The ribbon is a Crafty Ribbons exclusive Animal Silhouette - Rabbits.

Come and play Quirky with us.
