Green Crabs!!!
Blacks Creek is teeming with crabs -- green ones that is. The "Save the Harbor, Save the Bay" environmental advocacy group are doing a great job of educating our future generation about the importance of a healthy marine life. The green crabs are an invasive species.

Flipping Out

This Atlantic humpback whale, named Pitcher, took a break from its feeding frenzy to show off its white fins. It was an incredible sight to take in just a few miles north of Quincy Bay at the National Marine Sanctuary called Stellwagen Bank.
Did you know that the East Coast Humpbacks have white fins and the West Coast variety have black fins?
