Don't Even Think About It Gift Tag

 


Hey Quietfire Fans! For today's project I'm sharing with how to create this quick and easy Don't Even Think About It Gift Tag. I combined a variety of Quietfire Design Stamps and Modern Gilding Powders which were all perfect for creating this gift tag. You'll want to grab a cup of your favourite beverage and learn how to recreate my Don't Even Think About It Gift Tag at home.

Start by trimming a tag down to 3 1/8" x 4 5/8". Spritz the tag with Tree Lot and Peppermint Stick Distress Mica Stain. Allow the tag time to dry.


Die cut a 2 1/2" stitched circle out of a piece of white cardstock. Spritz Peppermint Stick Distress Mica Stain on the circle. Once the circle has dried, apply Emboss It Ink to the Don't Even Think quote from the Christmas Sweet & Sassy Stamp Set and stamp in the middle of the circle. Sprinkle Kells Gold Modern Gilding Powders on the stamped quote. Tap off the excess powder and emboss with a heat tool. Distress the edges of the circle. Ink the edges of the circle using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.


Distress the edges of the tag. Ink the edges of the tag using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam. From the To Appreciate the Beauty of a Snowflake stamp, you'll need the swirly stamp. Apply Emboss It Ink to the stamp and stamp on the top portion of the tag as desired. Reapply ink to the stamp and stamp on the bottom portion of the tag as desired. Sprinkle Kells Gold Modern Gilding Powders over the stamped images. Tap off the excess powder and emboss with a heat tool.


From the To Appreciate the Beauty of a Snowflake stamp, you'll need the snowflake stamp. Apply Emboss It Ink to the stamp and stamp on the top portion of the tag where the swirly image has been embossed. Reapply ink to the stamp and stamp on the bottom portion of the tag where the swirly image has been embossed. Sprinkle Forever Platinum Modern Gilding Powders over the stamped images. Tap off the excess powder and emboss with a heat tool.


From the Christmas Sweet & Sassy stamp, you'll need the snowflake stamp. Apply Emboss It Ink to the stamp and stamp randomly on the tag as desired. Reapply ink to the stamp and stamp three to four more times as desired on the tag, apply ink to the stamp as needed. Sprinkle Forever Platinum Modern Gilding Powders over the stamped images. Tap off the excess powder and emboss with a heat tool.


Foam square the circle to the middle of the tag as desired.


To finish the tag, tie a piece of twine through the top of the tag.

All Good Wishes for Christmas Tag


Hey Quietfire Fans! For today's project I'm getting into the Christmas Spirit and sharing with you my All Good Wishes for Christmas Tag. I combined a variety of A Way With Words Dies, Quietfire Design stamps and Modern Gilding Powders which were all perfect for creating this tag. You'll want to grab a cup of your favourite beverage and learn how to recreate my All Good Wishes for Christmas Tag at home.

To start, you'll need to die cut a 2 3/8" Stitched Circle out of a piece of white cardstock. Apply Jet Black Archival Ink to the All Good Wishes sentiment from the Christmas Sweet & Sassy Stamp set and stamp onto the stitched circle. Ink the edges of the stitched circle using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.


Next, you'll need a 3" x 6 1/4" White Tag. Apply VersaMark Ink to the Merry Christmas Stamp and stamp onto the tag. Reapply ink to the stamp and stamp on the remaining portion of the tag. Sprinkle Copper Scroll Modern Gilding Powders over the stamped tag. Tap off the excess powder and emboss with a heat tool. 


Spritz the tag with Gloss Spray Stain in Ruby, Medieval and Gild. Allow the tag to dry. Once the tag is dry, ink the edges of the tag using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.


Die cut the Peace on Earth out of a piece of white cardstock. Apply VersaMark Ink to the entire surface of the die cut. Sprinkle Kells Gold Modern Gilding Powders over the entire surface of the word. Tap off the excess powder and emboss with a heat tool.


Apply VersaMark Ink to a piece of white cardstock. Sprinkle Forever Platinum Modern Gilding Powders over the entire surface of the cardstock piece. Tap off the excess powder and emboss with a heat tool. Die cut five snowflakes out of the piece of embossed cardstock.


Adhere the All Good Wishes Stitched Circle to the Peace on Earth die cut. Foam square the Peace on Earth die cut to the middle of the tag.


Adhere the five snowflakes as desired on the tag.


To finish the tag, tie a piece of white twine into a bow through the hole at the top of the tag.

Live Like Someone Left the Gate Open Art Journal Page

  


Hey Quietfire Fans! For today's project I'm sharing with you my Live Like Someone Left the Gate Open Art Journal Page. I combined a variety of stamps, A Way With Words Dies and Modern Gilding Powders which were all perfect for creating this art journal page. You'll want to grab a cup of your favourite beverage and learn how to recreate my Live Like Someone Left the Gate Open Art Journal Page at home.

To start, you'll need an art journal. Start on the right hand page. Spritz water and then spritz Dylusions Ink Spray in Blue Lagoon, Island Parrot and Fiery Sunset. Dab off the excess ink spray and allow to dry. 

Spritz water on the left hand page and then spritz Dylusions Ink Spray in Blue Lagoon, Island Parrot and Fiery Sunset. Dab off the excess ink spray and allow to dry. 


Apply Detail Black Ink to the Grid Background Stamp and stamp randomly five times of the right hand side of the page. Reapply ink to the stamp as needed. Apply Detail Black Ink to the Grid Background stamp and stamp randomly five times on the left hand side of the page. Reapply ink to the stamp as needed.


Rub Black Soot Distress Crayon along the edges of both pages.


Die cut a 1 3/4" and a 2 1/4" Fitted Indented Rectangles out of a piece of kraft cardstock. Apply Emboss It Ink to the Dotted Harlequin Background stamp and stamp onto the 1 3/4" rectangle. Sprinkle Forever Platinum Modern Gilding Powders over the stamped rectangle. Tap off the excess powder and emboss with a heat tool. Apply Emboss It Ink to the Dotted Harlequin Background stamp and stamp onto the 2 1/4" rectangle. Sprinkle Forever Platinum Modern Gilding Powders over the stamped rectangle. Tap off the excess powder and emboss with a heat tool. Ink the edges of both rectangles using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.


From the Flourished Frame die, you'll need the scroll. Die cut the scroll once out of black cardstock and a second time out of a piece of white cardstock. 


From the Butterfly Flourish die, you'll need the medium butterfly. Die cut the medium butterfly once out of white cardstock and a second time out of vellum.


Die cut the Peace on Earth die out of white cardstock.


Apply Emboss It Dabber to the Live Like Someone quote from the Live Like Someone Left the Gate Open stamp set and stamp onto a piece of white cardstock. Sprinkle Gothic Black Modern Gilding Powders over the stamped image. Tap off the excess powder and emboss with a heat tool. Fussy cut the quote out. Ink the edges of the cut out quote using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.


From the There Are Many Gifts Stamp, you'll need the star stamp. Apply Candied Apple Distress Ink to the stamp and stamp onto a piece of white cardstock. Reapply ink to the stamp and stamp another three times, reapply ink as needed. Apply Twisted Citron Distress Ink to the stamp and stamp onto a piece of white cardstock. Reapply ink to the stamp and stamp another two times, reapply ink as needed. Apply Mermaid Lagoon Distress Ink to the stamp and stamp onto a piece of white cardstock. Reapply ink to the stamp and stamp another three times, reapply ink as needed. Apply Squeezed Lemonade Distress Ink to the stamp and stamp onto a piece of white cardstock. Reapply ink to the stamp and stamp another two times, reapply ink as needed. Fussy cut all of the stars out.


Now we will put the right page together. 
Adhere the white scroll 1 1/4" from the right and 1/2" from the bottom of the page. Foam square the 1 3/4" rectangle 3/8" from the right and 7/8" from the bottom of the page. Foam square the Live Like Someone quote to the middle of the rectangle. 


Adhere one green star in the top right corner of the rectangle. Adhere a red and green star in the bottom left corner of the rectangle. Adhere a red, blue and yellow star in the top left corner of the rectangle.


Now we will put the left page together. 
Adhere the Peace on Earth die cut 1 3/4" from the right and 1 1/8" from the bottom of the page. Foam square the 2 1/4" rectangle 1 3/8" from the left and 1 3/4" from the bottom of the page. Adhere the black scroll to the middle of the rectangle.


Adhere the vellum butterfly to the white butterfly. Foam square the white butterfly to the middle of the black scroll.


Adhere a red, yellow and blue star in the top left corner of the rectangle. Adhere a blue and yellow star in the bottom left corner of the rectangle. Adhere a red, blue and green star in the bottom right corner of the rectangle.

Bliss Card


Hey Quietfire Fans! For today's project I'm sharing with you my Bliss Card. I combined a variety of dies, stamps and Modern Gilding Powders, which were all perfect for creating this card. You'll want to grab a cup of your favourite beverage and learn how to recreate my Bliss Card at home.

To start, die cut the Flourished Frame out of a piece of white cardstock.


Die cut the medium butterfly from the Butterfly Flourish Die out of a piece of white cardstock. Apply Emboss It Ink to the butterfly. Sprinkle Tyrian Purple Modern Gilding Powders over the entire butterfly. Tap off the excess powder and emboss with a heat tool.


Die cut the Bliss Word out of a piece of white cardstock. Apply Emboss It Ink to the Bliss word. Sprinkle Armenian Pink Modern Gilding Powders over the entire word. Tap off the excess powder and emboss with a heat tool.


Die cut the Flourished Oval Frame out of a piece of white cardstock. Apply Emboss It Ink to the frame. Sprinkle Forever Platinum Modern Gilding Powders over the entire frame. Tap off the excess powder and emboss with a heat tool.


Die cut a 4" Stitched Rounded Rectangle out of a piece of book page. Die cut a 3 1/2" Stitched Rounded Rectangle out of a piece of book page. Distress the edges of both rectangles. Ink the edges of both rectangles using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.


Die cut a 3 3/4" Fitted Rounded Rectangle out of a piece of kraft cardstock. Distress the edges of the rectangle. Ink the edges of the rectangle using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.


Adhere the flourished frame to the 4" rectangle.


Adhere the 3 1/2" rectangle to the 3 3/4" rectangle. Foam square the 3 3/4" rectangle to the 4" rectangle. 


Adhere the flourished oval frame to the middle of the 3 1/4" rectangle. Foam square the butterfly to the middle of the flourished oval frame. Adhere the Bliss word to the bottom of the butterfly as desired.


To finish the card, cut a cardbase out of white cardstock that measures 4" x 10 1/2", score at 5 1/4". Adhere the cardfront to the cardbase.
