Autumn is the Hush Tag

Hey Quietfire Fans! For today's project I'm sharing with you my Autumn is the Hush Tag. I combined a variety of Quietfire Design Stamps and Modern Gilding Powders which were all perfect for creating this tag. You'll want to grab a cup of your favourite beverage and learn how to recreate my Autumn is the Hush Tag at home.

To start, you'll need a tag that measures 3 1/8" x 6 1/8". Spritz Ruby, Tangelo and Fir Dina Wakley Gloss Spray on the tag. Allow the tag time to dry.

Once the tag has dried, apply Jet Black Archival Ink to the Dotted Harlequin Background stamp and stamp randomly on the tag as desired. I stamped a total of seven times. Reapply ink to the stamp as needed. Distress the edges of the tag. Ink the edges of the tag using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Die cut a 2 1/2" Stitched Indented Rectangle out of a piece of cream cardstock. Apply Emboss It Ink to the Autumn is the Hush quote from the Autumn Collection stamp set and stamp onto the rectangle. Sprinkle Copper Scroll Modern Gilding Powders over the stamped quote. Tap off the excess powder and emboss with a heat tool. Distress the edges of the rectangle. Ink the edges of the rectangle using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

From the Leaves stamp set, you'll need three of the leaves. Apply Jet Black Archival Ink to all three stamps and stamp onto a piece of watercolour cardstock. Reapply the ink to two of the leaves and stamp on the same piece of cardstock. Colour the leaves in using a waterbrush and watercolours. Once the leaves have dried, fussy cut them out. Ink the edges of the leaves using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Foam square the rectangle 1" from the bottom and 1/4" from the left of the tag.

Adhere three of the leaves to the bottom right corner of the rectangle. Adhere the remaining two leaves to the top left corner of the rectangle.

To finish the tag, tie a piece of twine through the hole at the top of the tag.

Here are a few closeups of the finish tag.
