Hey Quietfire Fans! For today's project I'm sharing with you my Autumn Tag. I combined a variety of Quietfire Design Stamps and Modern Gilding Powders which were all perfect for creating this tag. You'll want to grab a cup of your favourite beverage and learn how to recreate my Autumn Tag at home.
To start, trim a 3 1/8" tag down to 5". Spritz water on the tag.Spritz Carved Pumpkin, Rustic Wilderness and Candied Apple Distress Spray Stain on the tag. Dab off the excess spray with a paper towel.
Apply Jet Black Archival Ink to the Grid Background and stamp onto the tag as desired. You'll need to stamp the grid background a total of seven times. Reapply ink as needed. Distress the edges of the tag. Ink the edges of the tag using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Die cut a 2 1/4" Stitched Circle out of a piece of kraft cardstock. Apply Emboss It Ink to the Autumn the years stamp from the Autumn Collection Stamp Set and stamp onto the circle. Sprinkle Copper Scroll Modern Gilding Powders over the stamped sentiment. Tap off the excess powder and emboss with a heat tool. Ink the edges of the circle using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
From the Leaves Stamp Set, you'll need four of the leaves. Apply Potting Soil Archival Ink to three of the leaves and stamp onto a piece of watercolour cardstock. Apply Potting Soil Archival Ink to the remaining leaf stamp and stamp once onto a piece of watercolour cardstock. Using a waterbrush and a watercolour palette, colour the leaves as desired. Once the leaves have dried, fussy cut eight leaves out. Ink the edges of all the leaves using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Foam square the circle 5/8" from the left and 1 1/4"from the bottom of the tag.
Adhere the leaves around the left hand side of the circle as desired.
To finish the tag, tie a piece of twine through the top of the tag.
Here are a few closeups of the finish tag.
