The Last Transformers I Will Ever Buy-Masterpiece Bluestreak and Takara Legends LG-10 Arcee

I've had a great run collecting Transformers but it's time to move on. After much contemplation, I've decided I want to finish off my collection with two pieces so memorable, so truly special that they will be worthy of the honor of being my very last Transformers. They will be figures that when I look at them on the shelf I will cry because they embody the emotional significance of the end of my Transformers journey. They will remind me forevermore of how wonderful my life was made over the past 31 years by Hasbro's special recipie of little robotic puzzle people made from plastic and metal and rubber. They will be the capstones of my Transformers collection and my rite of passage into a true manhood where I collect only old Macross models from Bandai. And so I have decided Masterpiece Bluestreak and Takara Arcee will be the absolutely very last Transformers I ever buy.

I WAS AFRAID YOU'D BE LAST OUTSIDE THE CITY

Can there be any greater milestones in the history of Transformers collecting than the release of these two never before produced holy grails? For thirty years the appearance of a Diaclone blue hooded Fairlady in the 1984 Hasbro pack in catalog has haunted collectors who never found one in Transformers packaging. For almost as long collectors have wanted a figure of the Princess Leia of The Transformers The Movie-Arcee. Now finally after all these decades I get to own figures of these mythical legends of Transformers collecting. There can be no better ending to my Transformers story than owning these unicorns, these previously thought impossible fantasies. I'm as sure that I'm done with Transformers as I am certain that that no better versions of Bluestreak or Arcee will ever be made. So that is why, with great pride and humility, I have decided Masterpiece Bluestreak and Takara Legends LG-10 Arcee are the very last Transformers I will ever buy.

The Last Transformer I Will Ever Buy-Metal Earth Megatron

I've had a great run collecting Transformers but it's time to move on. After much contemplation, I've decided I want to finish off my collection with a piece so memorable, so truly special that it will be something worthy of the honor of being my very last Transformer. It will be a figure that when I look at it on the shelf I will cry because it embodies the emotional significance of the end of my Transformers journey. It will remind me forevermore of how wonderful my life was made over the past 31 years by Hasbro's special recipe of little robotic puzzle people made from plastic and metal and rubber. It will be the capstone of my Transformers collection and my rite of passage into a true manhood where I collect only old Macross models from Bandai. And so I have decided Metal Earth Megatron will be the very last Transformer I will ever buy.

I WOULD'VE WAITED AN ETERNITY FOR TO BE LAST

Back in the 80s I never got model kits of Transformers characters where I lived and that was cosmic injustice. They made GoBots models for crying out loud! Japan got tons of Transformers model kits from Kabaya but my whole childhood passed without a single official Transformer model. That is why the Metal Earth 3-D Megatron Metal Model kit is an epic milestone for all Transformerkind worthy of the honor of being my final Transformer ever. Here at the end of my Transformer journey I finally fulfilled the lifelong dream of putting together an official Transformers model kit. And not just any one, but an actual metal version of the greatest Decepticon. Honestly it was an enormous pain in the butt cutting out and manipulating all the little pieces and getting the stubborn metal to curve around in parts. The 'ages 14+' warning is no joke and you'll find lots of complaints from upset people about how these are too hard to put together, but the challenge truly pays off in the end. I now have a gleaming metal G1 Megatron statue, shining like a trophy I earned after 30 years of being good at toy robots. This is truly the crown jewel of my collection. I'm as sure that I'm done with Transformers as I am certain that that no better version of Megatron will ever be made. So that is why, with great pride and humility, I have decided Metal Earth Megatron is the very last Transformer I will ever buy.

The Last Transformer I Will Ever Buy-Masterpiece Ultra Magnus

And so I have decided Masterpiece Ultra Magnus will be the very last Transformer I will ever buy.

I CAN DEAL WITH BEING LAST NOW

Ah, Ultra Magnus-I remember the first time I saw one back in '86. Actually it was a bunch of them. I was at a retail chain called Winn's. There was a stack of about four or five of them on the opposite end of the aisle from where the rest of the Transformers were. I guess they didn't know where to put this new guy. I was blown away because I'd never heard of the toy before and from looking at the box I couldn't figure out how they got that robot from that car carrier. I remember thinking Transformers were getting more and more interesting and there was no end in sight. So how fitting is it now that the ultimate version of the robot I felt signaled a gret new era of the Transformers franchise be the ultimate robot of my Transformers collecting experience. I'm as sure I'm done with Transformers as I am certain that that no better version of Ultra Magnus will ever be made. So that is why, with great pride and humility, I have decided Masterpiece Ultra Magnus is the very last Transformer I will ever buy.

The Last Transformer I Will Ever Buy-Masterpiece Bumblebee

I've had a great run collecting Transformers but it's time to move on. After much contemplation, I've decided I want to finish off my collection with a piece so memorable, so truly special that it will be something worthy of the honor of being my very last Transformer. It will be a figure that when I look at it on the shelf I will cry because it embodies the emotional significance of the end of my Transformers journey. It will remind me forevermore of how wonderful my life was made over the past 30 years by Hasbro's special recipe of little robotic puzzle people made from plastic and metal and rubber. It will be the capstone of my Transformers collection and my rite of passage into a true manhood where I collect only old Macross models from Bandai. And so I have decided Masterpiece Bumblebee will be the last Transformer I ever buy.

THE LEAST LIKELY CAN BE THE MOST LAST TRANSFORMER

Ah, Bumblebee-I think his TechSpecs said he was the weakest and smallest of all the Autobots. I remember back in 1984 my scrawny fourth grade self loved Bumblebee because I was a lot like him. His being wimpy in a world of giants very much reflected my childhood. I related to the guy. He toughed it out being small and he made it okay to turn into a Volkswagen, which I figured was some complicated metaphor for runty kids like me being forced to wear ugly sweaters by my mom. Through his adventures in the early issues of the Marvel Transformers comic I was introduced to the world of warring robots from Cybertron. His character is forever special to me and this toy is a perfect bookend to my collection. I'm as sure that I'm done with Transformers as I am certain that that no better version of Bumblebee will ever be made. So it is with great pride and humility that I have decided Masterpiece Bumblebee is the very last Transformer I will ever buy.
