25 Days of Christmas Tags - Lawn Fawn

**This is my second post today! If you are looking for my Sunny Studio/Card Maker colloration blog hop, please scroll down**

Hello there!  I am back with another 25 Days of Christmas Tags project!  To find out all about the 25 Days of Christmas Tags, be sure to check out my friend Tracy's blog!

Today, we are sharing projects using Lawn Fawn products!

For my project, I used the limited edition collaboration stamp set that Lawn Fawn did for Simon Says Stamp, called Merry Christmouse.  It is a super adorable set, perfect for wishing anyone a cheesy holiday season! :)

I started off by cutting three of the largest Stitched Circle Tags dies; one in yellow and  two in light orange cardstock.  I used the Snowy Backdrops die on the yellow tag to imitate the look of swiss cheese.  I adhered my hole-y tag to one of the light orange tags.  Then I used the Stitched Hillside Border dies to make a snowbank for my mice.  I stamped, colored and diecut a few of the mice and their cheesy tree, and then popped them up on my tag with foam tape.  I added a few snowflakes using the Mini Snowflakes die set, and a few tiny sparkly sequins.

Merry Christmouse

I took the other light orange tag, and put a score line just below the tag hole so that I could make the tag into a little folding card that opens to reveal a greeting, and another cheesy surprise.

Merry Christmouse

I added a few jingle bells and some Peppermint Lawn Trimmings for a fun touch. :)

Hope you like my cheesy Christmas tag!!  Thanks for stopping by!

Supplies:
Stamps: Lawn Fawn Merry Christmouse
Dies: Merry Christmouse, Stitched Tags, Stitched Hillside Borders, Snowy Backdrops die, Mini Snowflakes
Paper: PTI White, Lemon Tart, Summer Sunrise
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Other: Copic Markers, Jingle Bells. Peppermint Lawn Trimmings, Pretty Pink Posh 4mm Sparkling Clear sequins. White Gel Pen, Sakura Stardust pen

25 Days of Christmas Tags - Paper Smooches

Hello there! Today I am excited to be participating in the 25 Days of Christmas Tags!  This tradition was started by my friend Tracy McNeely.  Every day, for 25 days, a different stamp company is highlighted, and lots of awesome ideas for Christmas tags are shared!  Be sure to visit Tracy's blog so you don't miss a thing!

Today, we are highlighting Paper Smooches products!  You all know how much I love Paper Smooches! :)

I just got my most recent Paper Smooches order, and could not wait to play with the Snowman 2 die and the new  Lovely Snowflake die!  They are just adorable!  I diecut the snowman from white cardstock and colored all of his pieces with my copic markers and then pieces him back  together.  I diecut the largest Hexalong die, and used the Stitched dies to diecut a ground for my snowman to sit on.  I masked off the snow and added a subtle blue sky with distress ink.  I popped that up on a rectangular diecut, and then added the snowflake to the top right corner.  I scattering of sequins and some white gel accents finish things off.

Snowman Tag

That's all for me today,  but I will be back tomorrow with a few more projects to share!

Dies: Paper Smooches Snowman 2, Hexalongs, Stitched, Lovely Snowflake, Stitched Journaling card

Adorable Christmas Elves! {Just ME Digital Stamps}

Oh.My.Goodness.  I am SO excited.  One of my favorites, Elena Roussakis, of Just ME Prints, just opened up her etsy shop filled with a bunch of her ADORABLE hand drawn images!  Her Christmas/Winter collection consists of 8 sets of images, which you can buy individually (but I'm pretty sure you will agree that they are too cute to pass up... and you'll buy them ALL!)

Ok, so you might be asking "what are digital stamps?"  Digital stamps are image files that you purchase and then open up in a photo editing software program.  You don't need any fancy programs.  In fact, I use a free program called Pixlr.  You open up the file in the photo editing program and you can resize the image, move it around, combine it with other digital images to create scenes, etc.  SO fun!  Then you print them out, color them, and use them in your papercrafting projects!

For this card, I used the Christmas Elves digi image.  Eeeeek!  So cute I can't stand it!

Just ME Prints digi images

For this card, I combined several images.  I used the Christmas Boy Elf, and then I added the single girl elf from the Christmas Elves file and have them sitting on the banner image from the Sweet Christmas Deer Tag file.  Once I know who this card will be sent to, I will fill in the "to" spot on the front, and add a fun message and probably a gift card inside.

I am having SO much fun playing with these adorable images.  Be sure to check out Elena's etsy shop and grab a few for yourself!

Thanks for stopping by!! :)

Papertrey Ink November Blog Hop

Oh my goodness, I am losing all track of time here!  I completely forgot that today is the 25th and din't have my PTI Blog Hop post scheduled!  Oops.

The theme for today's hop is SNOW!  I absolutely love snow, though I don't see any now that I live in Florida.  It's one of the things I miss most about my home in Pennsylvania.

For my card today, I used one of my favorite holiday sets, Tremendous Treats Christmas.  I made a shaker card (my first ever) using the Fabulous Frames dies, and some fun faux snow that I got at the Dollar Tree.  A pretty good size bag is only $1, and I grabbed it a soon as I saw it, with a shaker card in mind.  I added a few diecut snowflakes from the Winter Penguin die set, and the striped card base was created using Watercolor Wonder.

PTI November Hop

That's all for now... off to have (another) cup of coffee, and hop! :)

Stamps: PTI Tremendous Treats Christmas, Winter Penguin, Watercolor Wonder
Dies: PTI Fabulous Frames, Winter Penguin, Tremendous Treats Christmas, In the Meadow Hillside dies
Paper: PTI Stampers Select White

Lawn Fawn Holiday Week - Day 3

Hello there and welcome back to Day 3 of the Lawn Fawn Holiday Week!  I hope you have been enjoying all of the adorable projects that are being shared on the Lawn Fawn blog!

Today, I have a card to share using the Sweet Christmas stamp set.  This little gingerbread house is so much fun to play with!  With all of the little detail stamps, you can create gingerbread houses with lots or little decoration. For my card, I just added a few windows to my  house, and popped the windows and roof up on foam tape for a little added dimension.   I used the Snow Day 6x6 paper pad for my mix of patterned papers.

Sweet Christmas

Be sure to stop by the blog to see what's being shared there today!

Rudolph Tag {Clear and Simple Stamps}

Oh my heavens... 8 days until Christmas!  How did that happen?!
I am all done shopping and am busy wrapping up a few odds and ends before the big day.
I decided this year, that I would buy patterned wrapping paper that wasn't necessarily Christmas prints so that I could use it for other occasions if I had left overs.  I love polka dots, and jumped on this paper as soon as I saw it.  Because it is not overly Christmas-y, I added my own little Christmas...

Clear and Simple Stamps came out with a genius die with their Collection 9 release.  The Partial Tag dies will turn any of your existing dies into a tag!  So smart, right?!  Is your head spinning with possibilities?!

 I used my Little Critter Pals 2 stamps and dies to create this little reindeer tag for atop my polka dot package.

Reindeer Tag

I diecut the reindeer from white card stock, and then paper pieced parts of him.  What wasn't paper pieced was colored with Copics.  Some jingle bells, googly eyes and a sparkly nose, and he's looking quite festive.

I am also featured on the CSS App today!  Click here to be taken to the full version.

Off to do  more wrapping!  Happy Holidays to you! :)

Festive Friday Guest Designer

**If you are looking for my post with Clear and Simple Stamps, please scroll down**

Hi again!  A few months back, my friend Meredith asked if I would like to be a guest designer for one of her Festive Friday Challenges.  Of course, I said yes! :)

Today's challenge photo is so fun and should inspire a lot of unique Christmas cards!  It was a little hard for me to get in the Christmas spirit in May, but this inspiration photo encouraged me to think a little outside the box. :)

Immediately upon seeing the trigger word "Sweet", I thought of one of my favorites from Lawn Fawn, Sweet Christmas.  I pulled it out and this is what I came up with:

I had so much fun with this one! :)  Be sure to check out the Festive Friday blog for more details!  Hope you will play along! :)

Friends Warm the Heart {Lawn Fawn Stamps}

It's true... Friends warm the heart.  No doubt about it.  I made this card for my friend Denise... one who truly warms my heart.  I pulled out a set that I haven't used yet this season...  Lawn Fawn's Making Frosty Friends.  It's one of my favorites!  I have been hoarding this pattern paper forever (circa 2004) and thought this was the perfect project to use it on.  I don't get much chance to create in PINK, and boy did I enjoy it! :)  Who says snowmen cards have to be blue?!?! *wink*

Our Elf has arrived!!

My boys are so excited!  Our elf, Willie, has finally arrived from the North Pole!  In past years, he has arrived on our doorstep wrapped in brown paper... I guess with the rising cost of postage, Santa decided to take a cheaper route this year.  Willie arrived via parachute!

I suspect that Mrs. Claus made Willie's parachute like this. *wink*

To ensure he arrived at the correct location, this tag was tied to him...

Wonder what other kind of trouble Willie will get into during his stay?!  Stay tuned...

Jolly Holiday Gift Tags {The Alley Way Stamps}

Hello there!  Happy Wednesday!  So sorry it has been a bit quiet here over the last week or so... I have been dealing with an eye infection/abrasion and that has made crafting a bit tough.  But I am slowly healing and back today to share a set of holiday gift tags using the new set from The Alley Way Stamps called Jolly Holiday.  There are so many adorable images in this set... I showcased my favorites today. :)

The snowman above is my most favorite... and then the adorable penguin...

And how cute are these trees!?! :)

And the whole bunch...

I also used Fa-La-La and Alphabet Soup.  I love how all of these sets work together :)
