Jingles Update and Merry Christmas to you all! :)

Bem este blog tem andado em modo muitooo lento, porque anda à mesma velocidade que eu...e eu ando-me a mover muitooo lentamente...eu e a minha barriga enorme!!

Entrei hoje nas 35 semanas e não tem sido fácil, com muitas dores à mistura, mas, tirando o parto :p, acho que o pior já passou e agora está mesmo quase :)

Entretanto terminei o nosso SAL do Jingles já no mês passado e foi uma vitória pessoal, porque acho que nunca tinha terminado um SAL antes dentro dos prazos lol Este até terminei antes! 

A ideia era entretanto colocá-lo numa moldura, mas como praticamente não saio de casa, devido a estar de baixa, também não tratei disso e agora acho que só para o ano o faço, pois o Natal deste ano está à porta:)

De qualquer forma, quero mostrar-vos os meus 2 últimos bloquinhos...de Novembro e Dezembro. Aqui estão eles:

Foi uma luta conseguir tirar uma foto decente e esta foi a que melhor se safou, mas no inicio do ano ainda tentarei tirar uma foto melhor e colocar aqui. Provavelmente junto com os updates das minhas parceiras que, dada a época atribulada em que estamos, não têm updates, mas de certeza que no inicio do ano teremos novidades e mostrarei tudo:)

Tenho apenas que dizer, mais uma vez, que adorei bordar esta peça! :))

Assim sendo, resta-me desejar-vos a todas um Santo Natal, junto da família e recheado de saúde, sorrisos e  muita alegria que são o mais importante! :)

E, caso já cá não volte antes do final do ano, desejo que 2015 vos traga toda a felicidade do mundo! :)

Well, this blog has been in veryyy slow mode, because its at the same speed that i am lately ... and i'm moving very slowly ... me and my huge belly !!

I entered today in the 35 week and has not been easy, with many pains involved, but, not counting with the birth :p, i think the worst is over and now is almost time :)

However i finished our Jingles SAL already last month and was a personal victory, because i think i had never completed a SAL before the deadline lol This was even finished before!

The idea was to put it in a frame, but as i lately hardly leave the house due to my license, i couldn't take care of it and now i think i only will do it next year, because Christmas this year is right ahead :)

Anyway, i want to show you my 2 last blocks ... November and December. 

Here they are:

And now, the "grand finale"... the whole piece!

It was a struggle to get a decent photo and this one was the best i did, but earlier this next year i will still try to take a better picture and place it here. 

Probably along with the updates of my partners, because given the troubled season in which we are, we do not have updates, but for sure that in the beginning of next year we will have news and i will show it all :)

I have to say it, once again, that i really loved to stitched this piece! :))

Therefore, it remains for me to wish you all a Merry Christmas, together with family and many health, smiles and joy that are the most importants things! :)

And if i will not be here again before the end of the year, i wish you already that 2015 brings you all the happiness in the world! :)

October Jingles Update!

Olá meninas!

Bem, este mês foi mais agitado do que o normal, daí este meu grande atraso em relação ao nosso SAL. Peço desculpa desde já.

O mês começou com o Guilherme a ser operado (amígdalas e adenóides)...uma operação não muito complexa, mas uma operação, com todo o aparato que ela envolve. E, como imaginam, esses 2 dias não foram fáceis...sabia que ía ser dificil, mas ver um filho a entrar num bloco operatório foi do que mais me custou na vida. Enfim! Tirando os primeiros dias, que foram difíceis, felizmente ele recuperou rapidamente e já está óptimo! A dormir muito melhor, a respirar muito melhor e com uma qualidade de vida bem superior, por isso valeu tudo a pena :)

No meio disto, eu estou de baixa já há mais de 1 mês. Comecei a ter contracções dolorosas e mesmo muitas dores (cedo demais, claro) e após descansar alguns dias, mesmo assim a médica pôs-me de baixa, para não arriscarmos nada. Estou por casa mas se ando um pouco mais ou se arrumo um pouco demais, fico com tantas dores que tenho de passar horas deitada até ficar melhor. Não é fácil, mas faz-se tudo por um filho, certo?:)

Ainda assim, quando consigo estar sentada umas horas, aproveito para bordar um pouco, claro:) Daí que tenha terminado o bloco do Jingles de Outubro bem a tempo, no entanto ainda não tinha conseguido vir mostrar.

Aqui fica então:)

E agora é hora de mostrar as minhas 2 meninas activas comigo neste SAL.

A Annette postou logo no inicio do mês o seu avanço. Vejam aqui o post dela :)

A Noni também fez avanços em Outubro e este foi o último update dela :)

Hello girls!

Well, this month was busier than usual, so that's why this long delay regarding our SAL. I apologize for that.

The month began with Guilherme being operated (tonsils and adenoids) ... not a very complex operation, but an operation, with all the trappings that it involves. And, as you can imagine, those two days were not easy ... I knew that it was going to be difficult, but seeing our child entering in an operating room was one of the most hard things i had to live in my life. Anyway! The first few days were difficult, of course, but thankfully he recovered quickly and is already great! He is sleeping much better, breathing much better and with a higher quality of life as well, so it was all worth it :)

In the middle of this, i'm on license for more than 1 month. I started having painful contractions and even many pains in my belly (too early, of course) and after resting a few days, the doctor put me in license till the end of the pregnancy, so we do not take any risks. I am at home, but if i walk a little more or clean something a little hard, i get so much pain that i have to spend hours lying down to get better. It's not easy, but we do everything for our child, right? :)

Still, when i can be sitting a few hours, i stitch a little, of course :) So i had completed the October Jingles block just in time, but still could not come here to show you.

Here it is then :)

And now it's time to show you my two active girls with me in this SAL.

Noni also made advances in October and this was her last update :)

We can congratulate ourselves, girls! I think we will arrive at Christmas with ours Jingles ready !! :)

August & September Jingles Update!

Sim, é verdade, finalmente o update ao nosso Jingles SAL!! :))

Não é que tenha parado de o bordar...nada disso, é até o meu projecto mais avançado e quase todas as noites consigo fazer umas cruzinhas nele, mas Agosto e Setembro foram meses mais agitados e as cruzinhas avançaram a menos velocidade.

Mas, aqui para nós, até já praticamente acabei o bloco de Outubro!! Isto porque ainda queria ver se bordava umas coisinhas para o bebé que aí vem e se acabar rapidamente o Jingles, mais tempo terei :))

Mas, sem mais demoras, aqui ficam os bloquinhos atrasados!

E, pelos vistos, o verão sem cruzinhas foi geral, pois as outras meninas também estão um pouco atrasadas.:p

Yes, it is true, finally an update of our Jingles SAL !! :))
Not that i've stopped stitched it ... its even my most advanced project and almost every night i can do some little stitches on it, but August and September were busiest months and so i advanced more slowly.
But here for us, i already practically ended October block !! This is because i still wanted to see if i can stitch a few things for the baby that's coming and as soon as i end Jingles, i will have more time :))

But without further ado, here are the late blocks!

And, apparently, the summer with no little stitches was general because the other girls are also a bit late:. P
But we have an update from Noni! At the end of August she showed us how she advanced a little more. I leave here a picture of her ended block and also the link to her post :)

I think this month we will have more news so i will come and share with you all, I promise! :)

June & July Jingles Update

.

E as férias demoraram a chegar, mas depressa se passaram! É sempre assim, certo?:) Foram muito boas, deram para fazer imensas coisas e também descansar, mesmo com uma criança de 3 anos com pilhas duracel!!

E foi especialmente bom ver o quanto o Guilherme delirou com o mar, a areia, a praia e a piscina, tudo novidades, pois já nem se devia lembrar das férias do ano passado. E sobretudo adorei o facto de estar com ele 24 horas por dia, coisa que no dia-a-dia se resume a umas 3 horas:( E ele próprio também adorou ter os pais todos para ele:) Agora quero ver como vai ser o dia de volta a creche!:/

E finalmente consegui terminar o meu bloquinho atrasado do Jingles e o deste mês!! Terminei ontem à noite! :)

Ainda não há novidades das outras meninas pois as férias não deixaram, mas é por uma boa causa, não acham? Se ainda houver novidades durante o mês, eu mostro:)

E agora vou começar a bordar uma peça para mais um bebé, já que não param de aparecer bebés à minha volta! O que é fantástico! :))

The holidays were slow to arrive, but soon passed! It's always like this, right? :) They were very good, i did a lot of things and also rest, even with a 3 year old kid with long lasting batteries! 

And it was especially nice to see how Guillerme was all excited with the sea, the sand, the beach and pool, all new for him, because he should not remember the holidays last year. And i especially loved the fact of being with him 24 hours a day, something that in the day life is just about 3 hours: (

And he himself also loved to have his parents all to himself :) Now I want to see how will be the day back to daycare! :/ 

I finally managed to finish my late block from Jingles and the one from this month! I finished it last night! 

Still no news from the other girls because they are on holidays, but it's for a good cause, right?:D If there is news during the month, i'll show it :) 

Now i'll start another piece for another baby, since babies keep coming around me! Which is fantastic! :))

Julho começou e onde está o meu Jingles de Junho? Pois....atrasado, muito atrasado....shame on me :/
O mês de Junho, como já vos disse, foi bem atribulado e com muito pouco tempo livre para os crafts, por isso o Jingles não saiu a tempo. Já estou a trabalhar nele, portanto este mês irão sair 2 bloquinhos! Espero conseguir mostrar-vos antes do final do mês!

Mas há uma certa menina que nunca me deixa ficar mal, pois, qual abelhinha trabalhadora, esteve até mesmo ao final do último dia do mês a trabalhar no seu bloquinho e conseguiu terminar a tempo! Ela mostrou-me em directo, por isso é mesmo verdade eheheh Foi a Annette, claro....ora vejam lá o lindo gráfico que ela bordou e o seu post sobre isso :)

A Noni que se juntou a nós mais tarde, deu às agulhas bem rápido e fez um grande avanço desde a última vez que aqui mostrei! Vejam como já está o seu bordado e o post dela sobre isso:)

E a Nia, que sempre disse que se iria juntar, mas um pouco mais tarde (por razões bem fofas!:p) conseguiu começar o seu Jingles e já mostrou algum avanço! A meio de Junho assim ía o seu bordado! Aqui ela conta-nos o seu inicio:)

E assim vai o nosso SAL...espero ver ainda mais avanços no final de Julho, especialmente meus!! :))

July started and where is my Jingles June block? Well .... late, too late .... shame on me :/ June as i've told you, it was pretty busy and with very little free time for crafts, so Jingles did not come out on time. I'm already working on it, so this month will have two blocks! I hope to show you before the end of the month! 

But there is a certain girl who never lets me down, because, just like a working little bee, she worked hard on her jingles right on the last day of the month and managed to finish on time! She showed me live, so it's really true eheheh It was Annette, of course .... so check her beautiful stitches and her post about it :) 

Noni joined us later, but she speeded up with her needles and made a great progress since the last time i showed here! See how it is her Jingles in the beginning of the month and her post about it :) 

And Nia, who always said that would be joining us but a little later (for very cute reasons: p) could start herJingles and has shown some progress! So here is how her Jingles was in the mid June! And  here she tells us her start :) 

And so it is our SAL ... hope to see even more advances in late July, especially mine! :))

Jingles SAL May Update

Desta vez não consegui fazer este post ainda em Maio...mês complicado este! Mas vou fingir que ainda é 31 de Maio:D  Por isso....
This time i couldn't make this post still in May...very complicated month! But i'll pretend that we are still on 31st of May :D So...

Ora já estamos naquela altura do mês....pois é, o update do nosso Jingles!:)

Confesso que este mês, em ponto cruz, foi tudo o que eu fiz...o bloquinho de Maio. 

Terminei-o rápido e, mais uma vez, adorei bordá-lo:)

I confess that, this month, this block was everything that i stitched. I finished very quickly and, once again, i loved it:)

And it seems that there isn't big news from the other girls :(
In the beggining of the month, Noni made a little update of her second block, which you can see it here. Probably she is also a little late, like i am! lol But, meanwhile, i can make another update post in the middle of the month, if i see some news :)

Jingles SAL April Update

E mesmo com fins-de-semana fora e aniversários e prendas em scrap pelo meio, ainda consegui terminar o meu bloquinho do mês de Abril do nosso Jingles :)

Não fiz mais nada em ponto cruz este mês, mas consegui o meu objectivo principal do mês nesta arte e, por isso, estou contente. Fora que fiz várias coisinhas em scrap, portanto, mais contente ainda estou:)

And even with weekends away and birthdays gifts and scrap in the middle, i still managed to finish my April block of our Jingles :) 
I did nothing more in cross stitch this month, but i got my main goal of the month on this art, so i'm happy. I made several little things in scrap, so i'm still happier :)

Jingles SAL March Update! :)

Ora estamos no final do mês e final do mês, entre outras coisas, é sinal de fazer um update do nosso SAL Jingles e saber qual o avanço deste nosso bordado entre as meninas! :)

Começando por euzinha, tenho a dizer que mesmo com o meu projecto secreto (e que entretanto já deixou de ser secreto, mas isso é tema para o próximo post!;)), consegui terminar o bloco de Março bem antes do mês terminar...nem sei bem como lol 

Não me canso de dizer que as cores deste bordado são fantásticas, o que ainda dá mais vontade de bordar!

Pelo que vi das meninas que se inscreveram no SAL poucas ainda se manifestaram sobre o SAL...se calhar até já desistiram lol 

Sei que a Noni está prestes prestes a começar, pois juntou-se à pouco a nós, o que nos deixou bem felizes! :) Não tarda está a mostrar o seu bordado também:)

E a outra abelhinha trabalhadora deste nosso SAL é a querida Annette que não perdoa e já terminou há uns bons dias o bloco do mês:)

So we are at the end of month and the end of the month, among other things, is time of an update of our SAL Jingles and know the progress of it among the girls! :) 

Starting with myself, i have to say that even with my secret project (and which has now ceased to be secret, but that's a topic for the next post;)), i managed to finish the March block well before the month is over .. . hardly know how i did it lol

I never get tired of telling how this design has fantastic colours, which gives even more desire to stitch it! 

From what i saw about the girls who joined our SAL, very few even spoke about it ... maybe even some of them have given up lol 

I know that Noni is about to begin, as she joined us lately, which made us very happy! :) Soon enough she is showing her stitches too :) 

And another little working bee of our SAL is our dear Annette, who also finished her march block a few days before the end of the month:)

Jingles SAL February Update!

E a passar poucos minutos da meia noite do primeiro dia do mês de Março, venho-vos mostrar um update do Jingles!

No final deste primeiro mês (fevereiro), este é o aspecto no momento!

Consegui terminar o primeiro bloco e ficar a meio do segundo, o que, tendo em conta que comecei no dia 15 de fevereiro, não é nada mau! 

Vou terminar o segundo nos próximos dias, mas depois o bloquinho do mês de Março será feito só para o final do mês, pois entretanto tenho em mãos um projecto (meio secreto:p) e vou precisar de me focar nele quase exclusivamente :D Mas depois compenso rapidamente o atraso! ;)

E agora quero ver os vossos pontinhos meninas! Fui espreitar os blogs das meninas que estão a participar, mas tirando a Annette, que também está focadissima, ainda não houve mais novidades! Espero no final deste mês ver mais avanços...afinal também ainda é só o primeiro mês:))

And a few minutes after midnight of the first of March, i came to show you my update on Jingles SAL!

In the end of the month (Fevereiro), this is how it looks!

I managed to finish the first block and get into the half of the second one, which, taking into account that i started on February 15, is not too bad! 

I will finish second block in the up coming days, but then the March block will have to wait till the end of the month, because meanwhile i have a project in hands (kind of secret: p) and i need to focus on it almost exclusively: D But then i quickly will make up for the delay! ;) 

And now i want to see your stitches, girls! 

I've been looking the blogs of the girls who are participating, but besides Annette, who is working hard on it, there aren't more news:( I hope i will see more progress in the end of this month...it would be great... after all is only the first month :))

A meio do ano passado decidi que iria fazer um SAL comigo própria, basicamente, desafiar-me a mim mesma :)

O gráfico escolhido foi muito “culpa” da querida Nia que mostrou no seu blog a recente saída, na altura, de um novo design da Lizzie Kate. Na altura,confesso, ainda conhecia pouco dos seus trabalhos, mas fui pesquisar e acabei apaixonada pelos gráficos dela! Super fofos e com cores alegres que faziam logo ter vontade de os bordar (sempre adorei bordar cores vivas:))

Quando a Nia nos mostrou o “Jingles”, eu apaixonei-me pelo desenho e decidi que era aquele que eu iria bordar! Como são 12 bloquinhos, o giro era bordar um por mês até ao natal, altura em que estaria pronto a decorar a casa para a época!

Pois, mas eu pensei isto em finais de Junho e, mesmo assim (super confiante), resolvi comprar os 6 primeiros blocos do gráfico, na esperança de os bordar em 3 meses e depois os outros 6 em mais 3 meses e talvez conseguisse acabar antes do natal! 

Mas depressa caí em mim e tive de ser realista e dizer a mim própria que não, "não irás nunca na vida terminar antes do final do ano, com tanta coisa mais que ainda queres fazer" (álbuns de scrap à mistura que levam bastante tempo).

Portanto decidi, na altura, que esse gráfico, seria o meu principal objectivo de 2014 em termos de ponto cruz! Quero bordar mais coisas, claro (aliás, já comecei!), mas este será o meu grande SAL do ano e espero conseguir terminá-lo a tempo…espero não, irei conseguir!! :D

Entretanto, fui sempre conversando sobre isto com a Nia e ela também sempre mostrou interesse em bordá-lo, afinal, até foi ela que mo deu a descobrir! E neste inicio de ano, mais emails trocados e concluímos que iríamos bordar juntas o Jingles.:))

Lembrámo-nos também de tornar a coisa mais oficial e ver se mais amigas o queriam fazer connosco! Por isso, sintam-se desde já todas convidadas a participar connosco neste SAL durante o ano de 2014. Quem quiser entrar connosco, é só dizer! :)

Já sei que a querida Annette também entrará nesta aventura connosco, o que me deixa muito feliz!:)

Eu irei começar o meu agora em Fevereiro e tentar fazer já os 2 primeiros bloquinhos.

A Nia, por razões óbvias, vai começar mais tarde,mas, qual abelhinha trabalhadora que ela é (mesmo com o Lourenço!) depressa me apanhará ou até ultrapassará! (não duvidava nada! LOL)

Claro que isto não tem regras nenhumas e cada uma vai bordando de acordo com o seu tempo e pode nem terminar este ano, mas achámos giro partilhar com todas vocês, pois quantas mais formos, mais motivação ganhamos todas :) A única regra é mesmo querer fazê-lo!;)

In the middle of last year i've decided i would do a SAL with myself, basically i would challenge myself :)

The chosen graphic it was dear Nia "fault", who showed it in her blog, the recent new design from Lizzie Kate. At the time, i confess, i still knew little of her work, but have been researching it and i just loved the graphics! Super cute designs and cheerful colors that made me feel starting to stitch (i always loved bright colours to stitch:))

When Nia showed us the "Jingles", i fell in love and decided that was the one i would stitch! Because they are 12 blocks, stitching one every month., it would be ready to decorate the house for Christmas!:)

Yeah, but I thought all of that in late June, and even then (overconfident), i decided to buy the first 6 blocks of the chart, hoping to stitch them in 3 months and then the other 6 in other 3 months and perhaps could finish before christmas! But soon i had to be realistic and tell myself that no, "you will never, in your wildest dreams, will finish it all before the end of the year, even with so much more you want to do" (scrapbook albuns included, which take a long time).

So I decided at that time that this graphic would be my main goal in 2014 in cross stitch! I want to stitch more things of course (in fact, already started), but this will be my big SAL to do along the whole year and hopefully I can finish it in time ... hopefully no, I'll get it! : D

However , i've talked a lot about it with Nia and she always showed interest in also stitch it, after all , she was the one who "discover it" for me:p And early this year , we've exchanged more emails and concluded that we would stitch together the Jingles. :)

We also talk about to make it kind of official and see if we could join some more friends with us ! So you are now all invited to participate with us in this SAL during 2014! Who wants to join us, just say so! :)

I know that dear Annette also want to come into this adventure with us, which makes me very happy :)

I will start mine in February and already will try to do the first 2 blocks .

Nia, for obvious reasons, will start later, but just like a little bee (even with Lourenço!) she will catch me in no time or even pass me by! (the most sure it will happen LOL )

Of course this has no rules and each one will stitch according to each one time and may not be able to finish until the end of the year, but we wanted to share with all of you, because the many more we are, more motivation we won all :) 

The only rule is just want to do it ;)
