Dreaming is Free Bookmark

The theme at Art Adventure this week in to make a book mark. Here is one I made recently. I made this for my 8 year old daughter. The stamps are Clearly Vintage and the markers are Copic. What I love about reading is how you create your own reality. Two people can read a book and see it totally differently. Books are fuel for the imagination.

Glamour Girls Magnets

Here is a set of magnets I made using my new set of stamps called Glamour Girls. It is due out at the end of the month. They are wonderful images from the 1920's. This is a 4x6 inch stamp set. Go to Clearly Vintage for more details.

Hanukkah Card

For some reason I just can't get motivated to make my Hanukkah cards this year. I think one reason is there are so few exciting Hanukkah stamps. I got the new set of Papertrey Hanukkah stamps. They are very traditional. I do like them but for some reason I am not inspired. This is one card I made using these beautiful stamps.

Keep in Touch

This week at Wednesday Stamper the theme is Telephone. I got to use one of my favorite stamps and old telephone from The Moon Rose. I love to make collages of stamps for background papers. It was so much fun to gather all my stamps to make the theme of the card. The center stamp is one of my stamps from my stamp line Clearly Vintage. I just love these two girls holding hand and thought this would make a great Keep in Touch card. The other stamps are by Paper Impressions(Ink Bottle),Serendipity Stamps(ink spots, postcards) and Ann-ticipations(ink pen). I colored the images and background with Copic markers. The edge detail in a border punch by Martha Stewart.

Wishes Do Come True

This is for the Crazy Amigo Challenge Blue and Red.

This is a Moo card. The image is by Loast Coast Designs. I colored her with Copic Markers.

New Tim Holtz Stickles

So of course I had to try the new Tim Holtz Stickles. It is more like glass glitter and gives your projects a unique look. My only disappointment was that there isn't as much of the glass glitter pieces as I would like in the glue. I made this card using three colors of Stickles; Fired Brick,Antique Linen and Peeled Paint. I stamped the image with Walnut Stain Distress Ink and colored with Copic Markers. I then added the stickles. The stamps are Just for Fun and Studio G.

More Martha Stewart Punches

Here are two cards I made the other day with some new Martha Stewart border punches I picked up a few days ago. All the stamps are Inkadinkadoo. The first card uses the new train border and the new star border punch. The second card used the Gothic arch border punch and the check border. They all punched great.

The backgrounds are Cuttlebug embossing folders Argyle and Swiss Dot respectively.

Corner Rounder Card

Becca's Blog had a great tutorial on how to use a corner rounder to make this filigree look in a circle. I used several elements from her card and added my own. I do love this look. I never get bored with my punches. The punch used was the EK Success Card Creator Decorative Corner Slot Punch Venetian. For the background I used two Cuttlebug folders. I'm not sure their names but they are the bird in the tree and the bark folders. The sentiment charm is a Cuttlebug plate. The stamps are Studio G and OI. The pearls are by Kaiser.

Best Friends

Here is another sneak peek of my soon to be released Sweet Peas stamp set. The Best Friends stamp is from Studio G. The idea for the card came from Becca's Amazing Paper Grace Blog. The eyelet frame is made using two Fisker's Border Punches - Threading Water and Eyelet Lace. I used watercolor paper to get a good embossed look to the card.

Love this Tag

So I got a new book Paper Bouquets by Susan Tierney Cockburn on making Paper Flowers. It was great inspiration. This is a tag I made for Tag Your It using my new Cuttlebug embossing folders and then a whole bunch of hand punches to make the Begonia flower. The trick to these flowers is The Ultimate Glue. This stuff is wonderful and gives your flowers dimension. I colored the edges of the flower with Copic markers. The paper is Prisma for the petals and DCWV for everything else. The image is one of my Saturday Image Bonuses. It can be found here.

Jewish New Year Card

So between friends, family and clients I make at least 60 Jewish New Year's cards each year. Here is my first one. I will probably make at least ten of this design. The photo is looking a little tilted as it is a 3d design. The red is mounted on pop dots. The letters on the red card stock are the Hebrew alphabet. The stamp is from Stampsmith. The apples are from Lockheart. I embossed the card base with my Cuttlebug embossing folder Textile. I thought it gave it a middle eastern feeling.

Flower Girl

Here is another sneak preview from my stamp line. This is a moo card I made using some of my stamps. I am so close to releasing it. They are clear stamps and the company I am working with has been terrific. This is one of the first sets of stamps they have done with such details. I wanted the ease of a clear stamp with the detail of red rubber. I have been a tough customer but they have made every change I requested. There are just two more images I need to refine and the sheets will be done.

Another Stampsmith Card

Here is another card I made with my Stampsmith stamps. I colored the image with Copic markers. The card base is embossed with a Cuttlebug folder.
