I searched through my stash this morning for some Valentine images but was sidetracked by this Feb. 1897 The Ladies World magazine.  I just loved the ads inside.  Oh well.  The cover is a valentine image.

I can't believe that I am up to 200 Saturday Image posts.  When I started posting vintage images on my blog Paper Flowers in 2007 I never thought it would be so popular.  So popular that I started this blog Clearly Vintage to post my vintage image collection and then of course it morphed into Digital Two for Tuesday.  Yesterday with the help of some of my fellow bloggers I signed up for Pinterest a inboard site and I have started to post already.  Boy this internet stuff is addictive.  It could be a full time job.

I have also been toying with the idea of creating an e book with Apple Ibooks Author using vintage images.  It would be similar to the guest designer concept but in ebook form with tutorials and step by step instructions.  I would need a group of designers who are serious about developing the book.  I am not sure whether to make it a free download or a small fee.  Please let me know what you think and if you are interest in participating let me know in the comments.

Todays images are all from vintage Valentines.  Hopefully I have not posted these before.  Melissa had asked me to try to make digital stamps out of a few of these but I can't seem to get them to work.  There are just to many details.

Both of these vintage images are from John Martin's Book The Child's Magazine from February 1929. This amazing magazine is filled with beautiful images. There is not SIB today due to the Valentine Countdown. I hope you all are enjoying all of these images from the turn of last century. A few of you have asked how I print these cards for projects. I just print them on my inkjet printer a few days before I need them. This way I am sure the ink is dry and it is less likely to run from the moisture of the glue.
