Easter Hippity Hop

Over on my other blog Clearly Vintage the Easter Hippity Hop has started.  Until Easter I will be posting 2 vintage Easter postcards a day.

This is a simple project I made using one of the images.  The border is a Martha Stewart border punch and the buttons are antiques.

Let's be Friends

Here is my entry for Digital Two for Tuesday this week. I have used the friends image and the technique that Esther the guest hostess described for creating lace using a border punch and a crimper.

I used two Martha Stewart around the page punches to create the frames and a Cuttlebug embossing folder for the background. I colored the image with Copic markers.

Valentines Day Will Be Here Sooner Than You Think

Valentines Day will be here sooner than you think. So I thought I should get working on some more cards. I used two different MS around the page punches on this card. The red cardstock is embossed with a Cuttlebug embossing folder. The images are from Go Make Something. The stamps are from Clearly Vintage Motif set.

Here are two cards that use the same Cuttlebug embossing folder and Martha Stewart branch punch. I just added some Stickles to the branches to look like snow.

Holiday Cards

So I finally had a chance to work on a few Holiday cards. In my area, people are so many different nationalities and religions, so I usually send a holiday card. I would hate to offend anyone, especially my business acquaintances.
The first card uses several punches by Martha Stewart and Marvy. The lace is an antique piece from my collection. I used Stickles for the glitter accents. The stamps in the second card are Studio 490 and Memory Box. I used Distress Ink to color and stamp.

Paper Punches and Glitter Oh My

Well here is another around the page punch set I picked up with a 50% of coupon at Michaels. I am still working on my precision with this one but I kind of like the off look on this card. The snowflake is also a punch from Martha Stewart and the glitter is some of her tinsel glitter. This glitter is so amazing. Though you can't see the sparkle in the photo. I put it on the snowflakes in a hotel in New Jersey. I was on a business trip and did this at night. So if you come across a room with little sparkles here and there you know I was there. The red background of the card is a 5x7 snowflake Cuttlebug folder I ordered from HSN.

Cooking - More MS Punches

I know it is a sickness. I just love these edge punches. This is a card I made using an image from my other blog Clearly Vintage. My printer is running out of ink, but sometimes it creates the most amazing effects. So this image printed pink. It happened to work great with the paper I chose. The punches on this card are all from Martha Stewart.

Lots of MS Punches

So I am addicted to punches and Martha Stewart has come out with some great ones this year. This is a card I made using several of the punches. The stamp is by Darcies. I rubbed some clear stickles on the tree that unfortunately just shows up as a shadow in the photo. The background is another one of my vices a new 5x7 christmas Cuttlebug embossing folder. The red is some stickles I rubbed on the background.

Two For Tuesday Bathing Beauty

Well I just got my new Loopy border punch set by Martha Stewart so I had to use them when I made a project for Two For Tuesday. The image is of course one of the digital images from Two for Tuesday and the background stamps are from Clearly Vintage. They are from the set Motif. I inked the edges with distress ink.

Halloween in July/ New Martha Stewart Punches

So I went to Michael's today armed with 50% off coupons and found some new Martha Stewart punches. They were fall holiday themed and my favorites were the Countinuous Edge System punches. You buy a border punch and a corner punch that coordinate. They work great. I found a great tutorial on Indigo Inklings as the instructions on the label were not very good. Here is an invitation I created using the spider web punches. The stamps are Martha Stewart and Studio G. I also bought the loop punches as well. So hard to resist.
