Inspirational Wednesday at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps-Friends to the Finish

This week, it's my turn to share an Inspirational Wednesday project. I made a card featuring the set Friends to the Finish. I stamped the boxer in Totally Taupe ink and coloured her with Copics. The shirt was paper-pieced and then shaded with markers. This set does include some great sentiments, but I couldn't resist using some sentiments from the design paper collection...just the right dose of cheekiness for this confidence-boosting friendship card!

July 2021 Release Peeks Day 5 at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps

  Today is our final day of Krafty Peeks for the July Release

Of course today is also challenge day and as always during release week, it's Anything Goes!  So create a card, scrapbook page, altered item, planner page....with some Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps products for your chance to WIN the monthly prize! 

I stamped two of the koalas in Wicked Black ink on Neenah paper and coloured them with Copics. I used our Semi-Circles stencil as a template to cut the patterned paper with the small leaves. I also created a larger leaf pattern on the teal paper by using the Luscious Leaves stencil and Lucky Limeade Ink. I added some doodled stitches around all the paper edges with a multiliner, applied some Krafty Dots and popped up the little koala in the lower corner on a wobble. The sentiment was also stamped in Wicked Black ink.

Love Bugs...a Kraftin' Kimmie Sneak Peek

Hello and welcome to

our January Release at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

The brand new products for January
are all about LOVE

We are starting things off today with

a super sweet new stamp set from artist, 
SABRINA VAN VLOTEN!!

It's called....LOVE BUGS!

It's a 4x6 stamp set with lots of little characters, flowers in several sizes for creating scenes and of course, some perfect sentiments!  How cute!

During the sneak peeks this week, you will also spy the new January Kraftin' Kimmie products!

Our newest addition to the Krafty Kolours Hybrid Ink line is a gorgeous new rich red named
CRISP CRIMSON


As always it will be available in full sized ink pads, mini cubes and ink refills

We've got TWO brand new Krafty Stencils:

I stamped the ladybugs and several flowers from LOVE BUGS in Totally Taupe ink and watercoloured this little garden scene on Arches cold pressed paper.

June 2019 Release Peeks at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps...Hip Hippo-ray!

It’s our favourite time of the month…
it’s time to begin the
JUNE 2019 release atKraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

It’s Day ONE of our Krafty Peeks and we are over the moon excited to share all of our new goodies!
We've got new stamps, stencils, INK and enamel dots!
Hang on to your inkpads people....here we GO!

The first stamp set we are previewing for you is
called HIP HIPPO-RAY and was designed by our fabulous
artist, Melissa Baker-Nguyen!

I bet you didn’t even know you needed a HIPPO stamp set!! These hilarious images are just too fun for words!!
The complete set features several main images plus accessory stamps and awesome sentiments!

As you hop around the Krafty Team's blogs today you will see the HIP HIPPO-RAY stamp set in action in combination with the rest of our awesome new JUNE Kraftin' Kimmie products!

You will spot our newest addition to the Krafty Kolours Hybrid Ink line!  It's an absolutely gorgeous blue-green calledSALTY SEA!

Here's my card featuring the new set. I stamped the Hippo in our Totally Taupe ink and coloured him with Copics. I sponged the entire background in our new SALTY SEA ink, placed our new WONDERFUL WAVES stencil over top (masking the hippo) and went over it with our Sparkling Sapphire ink. The sentiment was stamped in our Wicked Black ink.

May 2019 Release Hop at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps

WOOHOO!

Today we are celebrating all the 

new goodies from our
MAY Release at
Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

All THREE new clear stamp sets will be available over at the Krafty Shop, along with our new Pink Pizzazz inks, TWO new stencils and our new Fruity Krafty Dots!  Our LIVE Online Release Party is this afternoon at 4pm EST and then ALL the krafty goodies will be released!!

I used MY HAPPY PLACE for my hop card. This set speaks to me as I love both coffee and reading! I stamped the coffee girl in Totally Taupe ink and watercoloured the image. The sentiment is from the set and was stamped in Wicked Black Ink. I used our fun new LOT'S O' DOTS stencil to add a bit of texture to the background with our new PINK PIZZAZZ ink.

January 2019 Kraftin' Kimmie Sneak Peeks..Day 4!

Welcome back to our FOURTH and final day of Krafty Peeks for the January release at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Today we've got another stamp set from artist Melissa Baker-Nguyen! It's chock full of those fabulous images we all love....

HEARTS AND STARS!

The stamp set contains solid images, lined images, some with dots, some with stitches....beautiful designs and in all different sizes! There are a total of TWENTY THREE stamps!

Of course, today is also Challenge Day and as always, during release week the theme is Anything Goes! So create a card, scrapbook page, altered item...with a Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp! I made a card combining HEARTS AND STARS with another new set this month, BEARY LOVE. The little bear was stamped in our  TOTALLY TAUPE INK and watercoloured with my Daniel Smith paints. I sponged the background with PRETTY IN PINK ink, then stamped a selection of hearts from HEARTS AND STARS in RASPBERRY ROSE ink. The sentiment from Beary Love was stamped in  WICKED BLACK INK. To finish it off, I added a trio of our new LOVEY DOTS.

Vintage Teacup Fairy

Good morning krafty friends and welcome to our weekly challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! I am your hostess this week and my challenge theme is a personal favourite: Vintage/Distress!

Most people who know me are well aware of my love for all things vintage. Whether it's papers or embellishments, if it has a vintage feel, I'm all over it!

For this challenge, I first chose the gorgeous clear stamp set Teacup Fairy by Krafty artist Annie Rodrigue. I then started looking through my papers and found the perfect pad from Graphic 45. Not only did it already have a vintage appearance, but it was also tea themed!! I selected this sheet with the teapot and a beautiful friendship sentiment already included on the paper. Teacup Fairy also comes with several great coordinating sentiments. I distressed my paper edges and added a few embellishments. The fairy was stamped and coloured in Copics. I stamped the teacup on some patterned paper and added shading before piecing them together. Her wings were given a little sparkle with a Wink of Stella marker.

Inspiration Photo Challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Well, welcome back for more fun and krafty challenges and much more here at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!!! Hope you can play along as we've got yet another great challenge for you to share your mojo! It's awesome to see so many of you creating with KKS!!! You ROCK! 

This week our hostess is JENNY!! And her challenge is an INSPIRATION PHOTO!! So create a card, scrapbook page or altered item with a Kraftin' Kimmie stamp using the inspiration photo below as a jumping off point!!! Sounds fun....and sparkly!! Join us this week because we'd LOVE to see your KKS designs. We hope you can play along for your chance to WIN some Kraftin' Kimmie rubbah!!! 

Here's my card inspired by the photo Jenny chose. It features the gorgeous Katherine. I used some older SEI papers and a variety of Spellbinders. I paper pieced part of Katherine's dress and used some Stardust Stickles to reflect the glitter from the inspiration photo. I also added some rhinestones for a bit more bling. The flourish cut out is an MFT die and a flourish stamp from Impression Obsession was used on the image panel. 

On the inside, I used the sentiment that comes with Katherine.

This is one of the sassy new images in the Hey, Hot Stuff! set. (there are two main images in the set along with several sentiments!) Isn't it great to see Annie's artwork back in the releases?? I ADORE her style. :)  The decorative edge was cut with Spellbinders Parisian Accents and I added a few rhinestones for a finishing touch.

I shared this earlier in the week, but wanted to remind you about the December Kardmaking Kit! This card was made with just 1/6th of the contents of a single kit...and I had quite a bit of leftovers from that 1/6th! I could easily have made a couple of little tags. The kit is jam packed full of great krafty goodies, so don't forget to scoop one up! (The image is Rosabelle)
