Laugh Often...February Release Day at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

It’s our FEBRUARY RELEASE Day at KRAFTIN' KIMMIE STAMPS and we’re celebrating with a hop!! 

Over the last few days in our Krafty Peeks, we have shared lots of amazing creations featuring new stamp sets. This month's sets are all about books and friendship...two great themes! We’ve got an elegant new sentiment set called HELLO, FRIEND!! There's a cute new kids set from Cheryl called BOOK PALS! And of course, we are SO excited to share two new Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit inspired sets from Annie featuring....GANDALF and GALADRIEL! Lastly we are thrilled have another incredibly fun set from Emilie Goulet called, SQUISHY HUGS!

I used one of the gorgeous images from the Squishy Hugs set...I really love this sweet friendship-inspired set by Emilie. I stamped the image in a light coloured ink and coloured with Copics. The sentiment is from one of last month's sets called Words of Inspiration. The papers are from a Little Yellow Bicycle pad...even though this one is not in stock, Kimmie has a TON of great paper pads that you can check out HERE. I added a few rhinestones for a finishing touch.

Squishy Hugs...A Kraftin' Kimmie Sneak Peek!

Welcome back to day FOUR of the February Kraftin' Kimmie Peeks...all of our brand new rubber stamp sets will be released tonight!

We are so excited to have another amazing set from artist, Emilie Goulet!!! This one's called SQUISHY HUGS...it's all about girlfriends and friendship!! It's perfect for those thinking of you and you're so special kind of cards for all the amazing people in our lives. It features three sweet images plus seven coordinating sentiments!

This week our challenge hostess is TANGII! Her challenge is ANYTHING GOES (as it always is during release week), so create a card, scrapbook page or altered item with any stamp but remember, if you use a Kraftin' Kimmie stamp you'll double your chances to win!! Have some krafty fun and join us this week because we'd love to see your KKS designs. I absolutely adore this new set from Emilie...she's got such a fun style! I'm definitely a big fan of her work. :)  Squishy Hugs is a must-have set for your collection...the images are perfect for showing a little love to your special friends. This image is one of the three main stamps included in the set. The set also included many coordinating sentiments that you will love using on your projects. I actually chose to use a sentiment from a set we released last month called Words of Inspiration.  The image was stamped in a light ink and then coloured with Copics. The papers are some scraps from various pads. I used an MFT flourish die to finish it off.

Gandalf...A Kraftin' Kimmie Sneak Peek!

Welcome to Day ONE of the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps FEBRUARY 2015 previews!!! We're excited to share the new Moonlight Whispers stamp sets by Annie Rodrigue from The Lord of the Rings books!! If you are familiar with these books and movies, you'll easily recognize GANDALF and GALADRIEL!!! 

At the end of my post, you will find a list of the Krafty Girls and Guests participating in today's previews. Be sure to leave some love at each stop because one lucky stamper is going to WIN some $$ to the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Shop!! Woohoo!!!

I can't tell you how thrilled I am with these two new stamps...I've been kind of relentless in asking Kimmie to do this theme for a long time!! lol  I am such a HUGE LOTR fan, and it's such a treat having the characters brought to life by Annie's talented hand. I absolutely love her interpretation of Gandalf...and isn't that quote awesome?! In keeping true to the sentiment, I coloured him as Gandalf the Grey. These papers are a very old Bo Bunny pad, but stop by the KKS Shop to check out the in stock paper pads. I chose a clockwork die by SCACD to reflect the sentiment.
