I was working on the computer early one morning this week when I was blinded by this gorgeous sunrise You catch a glimpse of the lake near us in the first picture, both taken from the frosty deck.

It occurred to me that even if I don't see beauty as it is happening, it is still happened.

These are all photos I took on walks last week, gathering bits of August to remember...then I ran into this guy guarding his house and bird feeders. Scary. Sometimes life is just too funny, eh?

I caught kitty cat* in her favorite chair [note the sheen of millions of cat hairs on the cushion] on a sunny afternoon before she had a chance to turn her head from the hated camera flash.
