Better Late Than Never

I have been working on a book that I wanted to give Aubree when she got baptized. I had it all pretty much ready by her baptism, but couldn't bring myself to spend the money to print it. So needless to say, I never got the book to Aubree for her baptism. (This is just how I roll, I wish it wasn't so.) Anyway, a few days ago, a friend told me about a good deal going on where you could get up to 100 pages printed for $12.95. I had to do it before May 12th. I knew today was going to be busy and so I stayed up till 2:00 a.m. last night putting it all together. I can't wait to get it in the mail! I'm probably more excited than Aubree. Here are a few of the pages. (Each page has a letter of the alphabet and a word that goes along with it.)

I can't wait to see how it turns out in print!

Three "Cheers" for Aubree

Tonight was Aubree's last cheer event for this semester. It was Family Night and we all got to go and see Aubree do her cheer, dance and watch her get her awards. She had a lot of fun this semester. This was her first time doing cheer and I think she loved it. It is through Young Champions of America, which I think is a great organization.

We carpooled to cheer with two other girls-Zailey and Hannah. They had a lot of fun together!
Two Saturdays ago was Aubree's Regional cheer competition and they placed first. This Saturday was her State cheer competition and they placed first again! This picture below is the one I took from the State competition.
Aubree really wanted Hailey to come to her competition and Hailey wanted to come; so I swapped Hailey for Aaron for the day. The girls had a lot of fun giggling on the drive to Tempe, and singing Love Story by Taylor Swift (The whole way-I might add. The WHOLE way. There, and back). They also both went out onto the stage with tons of other girls, to dance before the event started. It was a fun girls day!

These two are pretty much are inseparable these days!
