Last Day of Vacation

The last day of our vacation was spent with Darrin and Donae. The kids had a great time coloring Easter eggs that morning with their cousin Bailey.

Then we headed to a park near Darrin and Donae's for a BBQ and an Easter egg hunt. The kids loved spending time with Bailey.

Neil, Darrin, Donae and I had a great time too. We grilled some delicious burgers, the guys played a game and we watched the kids play at the park.

There was a pretty field of wild flowers at the park that we took a bunch of pictures in front of before we left.

Newport Beach, CA

We did a beach day on day #3 of our trip.

Below are a few pictures of Aubree and Andrew running around on the beach and in the water. They had the time of their lives.

As I said in our "Experiencing the Magic" post, Aaron absolutely loves the Disney characters. His favorite movie is Toy Story and he loves all of the characters-especially Woody (maybe because he has Woody boots, which by the way he is so proud of). Anyway, we saw a line to see Woody, but right when we got there the Disney worker said that Woody was leaving and that Jessie would be coming.

We thought Aaron would be disappointed, but he was not. He was actually totally mesmerized by Jessie. He could not take his eyes off of her for the longest time.

He even gave her a kiss.

She loved it!

He did too!

He may have a new favorite Toy Story character.

Experiencing the Magic

We just got back from Disneyland and California Adventure. We spent one day at each park. This was our kids' first trip to Disneyland (and mine too). Neil hasn't been since he was 8. We all loved it!!!

Aaron was in his glory with all of the Disney characters. He especially loved the Cars and Toy Story characters.

We stayed and played the entire day (for 2 days)!
