The weather was glorious on Saturday and felt like spring was on the way which encouraged us to go out to a nature reserve for a walk Sunday morning before going on to our son's for lunch. Lesson learnt? Do not take anything for granted. The wind was freezing and the ground so water-logged it was not a very pleasant walk and turning up with muddy shoes not ideal when being giving the tour of a new home.
I did find
19. a fountain for
the winter photography challenge
1. a robin
waving to
Sian and hoping you all have a good week.

Oh, what a shame! I know what you mean: we went to the seaside and it looked lovely, but there was still a biting wind.
Wishing a good week Jane
Thst's a wonderfully rural fountain you found. And yes, gosh, the weather can be deceptive from behind glass, can 't it. Hoping you have a happy week ...
Hi Jane ~ Thanks so much for visiting my blog today and leaving a sweet comment for me. ♥ Your photos are lovely and it sure doesn't look as cold as it must have been. I'm afraid I would have been freezing and complaining every step of the way! Haha. Enjoy the rest of your week! xo
Now that's a gorgeous bird table! Oh! how often have I ventured out with the wrong thing on lately!
We've had a few of these days here too...I either have too many clothes on or not enough! Xx
Those last two snaps certainly make is seem warm and sunny. But there is nothing like damp ground to send a chill through you.
We did have a vey cold weekend didn't we? I hope you wrapped up warm and enjoyed the walk.
