Finishing off a layout started on Saturday after some wintry walks and browsing in Waterstones with time to relax and enjoy one of their coffees and cakes. Not a bad way to spend the weekend!

It’s been a loft sorting, decluttering weekend, with a little bit of cooking thrown in, so this afternoon sees me relaxing with some music and a jigsaw, I think I deserve it!

This year I decided to keep my journal very simple. I wrote in my diary everyday and highlighted the important, to me, part. At the moment there are no photos only journalling but I plan to add a layout with some favourite shots when I get my prints. As always this journal was inspired by Shimelle's Journal your Christmas class.
It’s very simple but by far the easiest journal I’ve made.
Enjoying a little time to myself I decided to do the second on a shelf class by http://debbiehodge.com/ The only downside is I’m not getting through much of my paper stash!!
Trying to keep warm under my coastal ripple blanket. I’m really loving making this, it feels cosy and reminds me of walks by the sea.
It’s hard to believe that yesterday was so different as we made the most of the sunshine.

Browsing on Sian’s blog the other day I found myself signing up to http://debbiehodge.com/ for three months. One of the first classes I looked at was using one photo on a shelf and I soon found myself playing along with Debbie Hodge. There is so much on this site and each class is explained so well. I’m really looking forward to making more layouts. Now if I could only master the photography I would be a happy bunny!
It was a final game before saying goodbye weekend. A getting back to normal and trying not to feel too sad time. Today I am wishing all the family lived nearer but pleased Christmas went well and we all still enjoy meeting up together.
