my next shimelle page for 2nd september. My lesson was to stop and take a moment to look around me, the gatrden always has a calming effect on me, whether it's the lowers or birds I can stand and watch things for ages.Today we haven't done much standing about, Ian and I have been out digging, we are enlarging one of the borders with the idea of putting in more shrubs, hopefully it will look good.
Lesson must be to plan ahead, too often I just put anything in the garden and then wonder why it doesn't look right or dies, from now on we are going to read up on plants and try and put them in the right place.
