Hey everyone! It's time for a brand new Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge and this week's theme is "Girly Girl" hosted by Sherri!  So dig out all of your girly-girl KK Stamps and get busy this long weekend.  We are supposed to get rain most of the weekend (should have guessed) so I will be playing in my craft room - join me!!!

For my card, I used one of my favorites - an older Moonlight Whispers image - Alicia the Strawberry Pirate.  AND...if you love her as much as I do and NEED to have her come live at your house, she JUST happens to be on SALE this weekend as part of the Frugal Friday Sale at KKS!!!  There are some other ADORABLE images on sale - why stop at just one?

For my card, I combined this week's Color Throwdown combo with last week's Deconstructed Sketch - I love how it turned out!!!

Isn't she adorable!???

OK, everyone - enjoy your long weekend!  Don't forget to come back on Thursday for the first day of Sneak Peeks for the brand new KK release!  You're gonna love all of these new sets  - I promise!!  See you soon!

Live the Life You've Imagined...{CQC230} & {DS139}

Welcome back, everyone! Thanks for stopping by today to see what I have to share with you. It is Tuesday and that means it is time for a brand new Colour Q combo.  This week's inspiration is a fanTASTIC pair of heels from Kate Spade - I could never wear them but they sure are cute!

I tried to keep it fairly CAS again this week - ran short on time AGAIN - and was delighted to find that this week's Deconstructed Sketch fit the bill perfectly:

I am really loving using these sequins I found at the dollar store - such a little addition to a card that totally makes it *sing*.  :)  I hope you can find some time to play along with us this week - next week is MARCH already!  OY!  See you then!

Happy Birthday {CQC228} {JUGS227} {DS137}

Welcome back for another totally amazing Colour Q combination. This week's inspiration is from a super-cute pincushion Arielle found on Etsy - this particular one is no longer available but she's got lots of other cute ones:

I had a little bit of time to play around with these colors this weekend and was able to use the reverse sponging technique from the Just Us Girls Challenge as well as the Decontructed Sketch- take a peek:

As always, I hope you will be able to play along with us at the Colour Q - these are such fun colors I can't wait to see what you come up with!  See you on Saturday!

BE Inspired #44 & DS131

EEK!!!!! I am so far behind I think I might be ahead???  This week has been so freakin' crazy - I can't wait until Christmas is over.  I've got the final BE Inspired Challenge of 2013 to share with you today...take a peek:

Pretty appropriate for this time of year, wouldn't you say?  :)  SO, I went with the Christmas theme and the colors and tree ornaments and made this fun card using the Deconstructed Sketch and a sentiment from Jolly Holiday:

I know how busy everyone is this time of the year but remember that this challenge runs for two weeks so when you are suffering from Christmas Hangover and need some down-time, join us for this challenge!  See you on Sunday for the final Sweet Sunday Sketch of 2013!

Wise Men... {CTD272} & {DS130}

Welcome back!  I hope the weather where you are is MUCH better than what we're experiencing here - snow, snow and more SNOW!  Mother Nature must really have her knickers in a knot.  But fear not ... this all means I must stay inside and cozy up in my craft room, right?

I have a quick card to share with you today that combines this week's Color Throwdown combo with The Deconstructed Sketch - the result is a soft, subtle Christmas card that uses the TAWS set, Seek Him:

I am hoping to get all of my Christmas shopping done this weekend and help the kids finish theirs.  Have a great day everyone - only 11 more sleeps!  So excited!

Birthday Wishes {CQC217} & {DS128}

Happy Tuesday, everyone! Thanks for stopping by today - I've got a brand new Colour Q to share with you all.  As a woman who {loves} a nice purse, I totally appreciated this week's inspiration photo...even if it is $280!!!  Take a peek:

I just love the bright pops of color - makes the crapload of snow outside my front door seem less annoying.  ;)  I used this week's Deconstructed Sketch for my card...it's been awhile since I've used this many layers:

I hope you will play along with us over at the Colour Q - we always love to visit your blogs and see what you've created.  Have a great week and I'll be back on Thursday for Day Three of The Alley Way Stamps Sneak Peeks!  See you then!

Bunches of Love {CQC215} & {DS126}

Hello everyone! It's time for a brand new Colour Q combination and this week's inspiration picture looks like something I could (and just might) totally make! Felt flowers adorn this awesome twig leaf - so sweet:

For my card I wanted to stick with the "nature" inspiration and used a set from The Alley Way Stamps called Awesome Blossom.  I also used this week's Deconstructed Sketch:

Thanks for stopping by today - I hope you will play along with us this week at the Colour Q!  See you on Thursday!

{Give Thanks} Sneak Peek & 4CCC-157 {Squares} & DS115

Hello again! Thank you so much for stopping by today - it's release week over at The Alley Way Stamps and today is day three (and my FAVORITE set), Give Thanks.  Alison has really outdone herself with this set - the loopy font just makes me smile.  And the little owl and turkey???  Well, you've gotta have it!

It's also time for a brand new 4 Crafty Chicks' Challenge and this week the theme is SQUARES.  Lots of squares or just a few squares - you decide.  :)  I decided to keep it pretty simple with my squares and just make a square card with a square layer - and one of my patterned papers has squares on it.

The sketch is last week's Deconstructed Sketch, rotated to fit my sentiment:

So cute, right?  Trust me - if you love that loopy font you are going to LOVE this entire set.  A must-have for sure.  :)  If you'd like to WIN this set (and who doesn't love free???), all you have to do is pop over to the Alley Way Stamps blog and comment on the Day Three sneak peek post.  And if you want yet another chance to win, share it on Facebook...SUPER easy-peasy!

OK - don't forget that squares is the theme over at the 4 Crafty Chicks' and I'll be back on Saturday for The Alley Way Stamps Blog Hop.  You could win all three new sets!   See you then!

The Alley Way Stamps - BE Inspired #35 and DS114

Hello again! It's time for a new BE Inspired Challenge over at The Alley Way Stamps blog.  Alison has found a great photo this time around (well, she does every time...) - totally inspires some CAS designs, IMHO:

I still hadn't inked up this month's new Crazy Circuits set so I thought these colors were PERFECT for a masculine, robot birthday card.  I found this week's Deconstructed Sketch and got to work:

There ya go!  Another CAS design from yours truly.  Wanna play along??  All you have to do is make a project using TAWS stamps and the above inspiration photo.  What?  You don't HAVE any TAWS stamps?  Why the heck not???  :)  OK, OK...Alison has a bunch of freebie digi stamps here that you can use until you give in and order some real ones.  :)

Have fun and I'll be back on Sunday with a brand new Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge - see you then!

TAWS Sneak Peek Day Three {Bump in the Night}

Hi everyone! What a busy week this is going to be for me - a post a day for the next week with the exception of Saturday - OY!  To start things off, it's Day THREE of the sneak peeks for this month's release over at The Alley Way Stamps.  Today's set is Bump in the Night and it's a fun Halloween-y set.  I've had this Halloween paper pad from Pebbles, Tricks and Treats, that I have been DYING to use ever since I got it so I took this opportunity to go all out with it.

I used this week's Deconstructed Sketch for this fun card:

Fun, right?  I think the next time I will use some Valentine's Day papers with the bats and same sentiment - more of a {love} card than a Halloween card.

Thanks for stopping in today - don't forget to pop over to the TAWS blog to see what the other girls have created and leave a comment for your chance to WIN this set...That's right - WIN!!!  I'll see you tomorrow for the TAWS Blog Hop where you could be the lucky winner of ALL three new releases - EEK!  How awesome would that be?  Au revoir!
