Sentimental Sundays & Colour Q Two-'fer

Welcome back!  I hope you are all enjoying your weekend.  We've got a fun challenge this week over at Sentimental Sundays - "Wings" - so you can use anything that has wings on your card.  It might be birds, angels, fairies, airplanes... there are many possibilities but just remember to use a sentiment somewhere on your card.  :)

I decided to combine the SS challenge with Arielle's Colour Q combination - I LOVE this combo, don't you?

I haven't played with Julee's Mojo Monday in awhile so I decided to see what I could come up with this week:

I have to admit that the Daffodil Delight gave me a bit of trouble - I didn't realize how *bright* it was until I put it beside the So Saffron.  I feel like I kind of wimped out because I only used the Daffodil for the butterfly but that's the best I could do.  :)

Stamps: Beautiful Kindness, Thoughtful Accents (Verve)  Ink: Versafine Onyx Black  Paper: Basic Black, Soft Sky, Whisper White, So Saffron, Daffodil Delight, SU! DSP  Accessories: Clear embossing powder, heat gun, black satin ribbon, adhesive pearls, hat pin and beads (Pretties Kit), Nesties, Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder, paper piercer, Beautiful Wings embosslit

Thanks for stopping by this fine Sunday - enjoy the rest of your weekend and I'll see you back here tomorrow morning for a brand new Picture Perfect Creations Color Challenge!

Hi! I saw your card in Sentimental Sundays and I love it! I have seen layered flowers, but layering butterflies never crossed my mind! It looks so pretty, the colours work so well together. I like the circle behind the butterflies too.
