{SPDSS05} Fishy Friend

We've got a brand new sketch challenge for you from SugarPea Designs! I love this one! You can keep the sketch vertical, or flip it horizontal as some of our Pea's did, or swap out the oval for another shape…so long as we can see the basics! We would love to have you join us in this sketch challenge- you have the chance to win up to a $15 voucher to the store!

I've used the adorable set Don't be Koi, from our Sweet P Collection, on my card today. I coloured with copics and pieced her little shirt. I paired the great sketch and stamp with some Simple Stories Vintage Bliss paper, a Reverse Confetti heart die, and MFT button and twine. The oval and flag dies are MFT as well. 

I am soooo in love with Wendy's stamps- they are cute, fun and actually VERY easy and straightforward to colour. So don't feel like you have to be an advanced colourist to pull off these cute line art stamps!! They are for EVERYONE and ANYONE! AND- they are all ON SALE right now! That's right, a Summer Sale! {SPDSS03} Some bunny special...

Hey there! I hope all of you amazing mama's out there had a great day yesterday, and if you aren't a mom, then I hope you got to spend the day with your own mom!! 

My husband and I got up fairly early and cooked an amazing brunch for our moms (dads came too), including tons of fruit and chocolate for dipping (oh yeah!), eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles and these amazing muffins…it was my first time making them and OMG they were delicious!! My hubby did all of the dishes and the kids played while I had a nap on the couch. I took some time in the afternoon for myself to make this card and then my boys took me on a date to the new Amazing Spiderman 2 movie. All in all, it was a pretty fantastic day and I am so lucky that God chose me to be mom to these three amazing little boys! I am blessed beyond measure!!

I used the new set Pure Magic, only using the lower portion of the stamp…..the sentiment is from One Big Hoppy Family.

{SPD} Sugar Sketch 01

 Exciting news here today! SugarPea Designs will now be hosting not one, but two challenges every month! We will still have our usual challenge, which will vary by theme month-to-month, but we are now offering another way to play along with your amazing SPD stamps and WIN!! This one will be our SugarPea Designs Sugar Sketch (SPDSS01) debut!

I've used Love You Bunches, and coloured with copics and just a touch of pastels, adding freckles with a wine coloured copic multiliner. I used MFT dies and some machine stitching. I also added glossy accents to her eyes, teeth (is that weird?), hair baubles and the centre of the flower. Paper is MME.
