Concord & 9th: Modern Frame and Forever Flower Bundles

Hi there! I'm back with a couple more cards to share with you using some of the beautiful February release from Concord & 9th!

Today I'm using the new Modern Frame dies and Modern Frame Stamps for my first card, and the Forever Flower Bundle for my second.

For this card I cut the geometric frame out of white card stock, and blended some blue ink along the edges of the inside piece. I glued that down to my card base and added another frame on top of that at a slightly different angle.

I cut the greenery out of white card stock and lightly blended some die ink on top to just give it a hint of color. I added these around the edges with liquid glue, then added some sequins.

The sentiment is from the Modern Frame Stamps set, and was stamped with black ink. I also added a few splatters of blue ink to the ink blended panel.

Okay this next card is very clever, very unique, very fun, very easy to put together, but unfortunately not very easy to photograph! haha! I did my best here though! I am not going to go into how you put it together. There is a video at Concord & 9th HERE that will tell you all about it.

So when you open up the flower the first time, this is what you see. I decorated this part with a flower from the Stitched Blooms stamp set, and the sentiment at the top is from the Modern Frame Stamp set. The sentiment in the center is from the Forever Flower Stamp set.

Okay so you open it up again, and this is what you see. The Happy Birthday sentiment is included in the Forever Flower stamp set.

And then this is the last part that you will see. When you open this one up, you will be back to the first photo you saw and the front of the card. Very very clever these designers at Concord & 9th to come up with stuff like this!

I hope you have enjoyed my cards today!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hugs,

Kay :)

Concord & 9th Stitched Blooms and Blooms Turnabout

Hi there! I'm back with a couple more cards to share with you using some of the beautiful February release from Concord & 9th! I absolutely love their Turnabout Stamps and this month they have a brand new one that's all about flowers! It's so fun!

So for this card, I used the new Blooms Turnabout Stamp along with the Stitched Blooms set. I stamped the flowers in several different shades of blues and the leaves with three different shades of green.

The sentiment is from the Stitched Blooms stamp set and I stamped it in black dye ink. I cut it out with the Stitched Blooms Die and cut an extra one and adhered it to the back turned 45 degrees. I also used the stitched rectangle from the Stitched Blooms dies and die cut that out of some matching blue card stock and added that behind the sentient. I added two of the die cut blooms from the Stitched Blooms stamp set to ether side of the sentiment.

For my next  card, I used the Stitched Blooms stamp set and Stitched Blooms Dies. The Stitched Blooms dies comes with a very pretty stitched die that I die cut into the background of the panel first. I colored this very lightly with Copic markers.

I did the sentiment on this one the same as the first card. I added a second one behind the top one turned 45 degrees. I stamped all of the flowers with the Stitched Blooms stamp set and cut them out with the Stitched Blooms dies then tucked them all around the sentiment.

I hope you have enjoyed my cards today!

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Hugs,

Kay :)

Concord & 9th: Meadow Blossoms & Brushed Stripe Background

Hi there! I am super excited to be guesting with Concord & 9th this month! I love their products so much, and the February release is just beautiful! I have a card to share with you today using the new Meadow Blossoms Stamp set, Meadow Blossoms Die and the Brushed Stripe Background.

For this card, I used the Brush Striped Background and stamped it onto white card stock with a light tan ink. I used the tiny splatter stamp that comes with the set, to add the little speckles you see around.

I stamped the beautiful Meadow Blossoms stamp with black ink onto Bristol Board Card stock and colored it with my Polychromos colored pencils. I cut this out with the Meadow Blossoms Dies and adhered it to the background with foam tape.

I stamped a sentiment from the Meadow Blossoms stamp set onto black card stock with Versamark ink and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I cut this out and added it to the card with foam tape.

You can find the products I used today linked below!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Love You card with Concord & 9th

Hello! It's Friday! I'm happy about that :)
I'm back again today with another card I created for my guest spot for Concord & 9th using  their January release! If you are not familiar with this new stamp company, you need to stop by their website HERE. They have some beautiful products and are incredibly nice people too :)

I'm am so loving these new dies! This time I layered the two dies from the Layers of Love die set. One of the dies cuts out the stripes and the other cuts out the leafy edged heart. They look amazing layered together! I just love that! The striped heart was die cut from paper that was  watercolored then splattered with paint and water. The sentiment was stamped with the Sophisticated Script set and Layers of Love stamp sets. Let me be honest here and tell you I stamped that love with no MISTI, all hand done... and.... what you are seeing there was my first try! The letters stamp beautifully and were so easy to line up!

You can see a little more of the dimension here. I glued the two die cut panels together than added them to the card base with some foam tape.

Guest Designing With Concord & 9th

Hello! I hope everyone had a nice weekend! It was cold here!
I am so thrilled to be a guest designer for Concord & 9th for their January release! If you are not familiar with this new stamp company, you need to stop by their website HERE. They have some beautiful products and they are one class act in my opinion :)

Their new January release is so pretty! I had so much fun working with these new stamps and dies!

I watercolored a bluish background first, then cut the Layers of Love heart shaped die out of white card stock. I stamped the sentiment from the Layers of Love stamp set below in black ink, and then adhered this to my watercolored panel with foam tape. I cut the floral clusters out of watercolor paper and watercolored them with some pinks and greens then added them with glue dots. I cut one of them apart and added some of the pieces in randomly to create the little cluster at the bottom.  I added a few of pink 3mm sequins to finish off my card.

This card actually came together pretty quickly and I love how it turned out! I can see so many fun possibilities with these beautiful dies!
