A Christmas card, more jewellery and another prize.....

Hi everyone, another photo heavy post, with all the things I am doing at the moment...........I have so much to show. This card I made a while ago,the bird was made using the Stampin Up bird punch, just love this punch. The idea of inking the bird came from a blog I found while blog hopping, but it was so long ago I am not sure where I found it.I had big plans on being ahead with chrissy cards this year, but that hasn't happened, though I have already made 30 of the 50 chrissy cards my friend wants. So better get the other 20 done.

I went to an earring making class Thursday and loved it,we made 5 pairs of earrings and I don't want to part with any of them.......lol.......I even have family members eyeing off some pieces................well I might be checking bags when visitors leave now......lol......One of my good friends now wants to make jewellery,so she is coming over wednesday to make jewellery with me. She has never made jewellery before and just went to a beading shop and spent quite a bit on beads etc, so she must be really looking forward to making the jewellery. Above are some more bracelets I have made,I will show the earrings over the next few days as I have not taken photos of them yet.I also need to work on getting better photos of the jewellery, they sparkle so much they don't show up,so the photos are being taken without a flash at the moment.

I am also in the process of digi scrapping our holiday and want to get that completed before the 4th October(big ask,but need to try),as Harvery Norman has a discount on their photo books at the moment............so yet again, doing too many things at once.

Ok now one last thing before I head off to the gym,yes it's the prize. Those that have purchased from the Fundraising for Lyndall store are in the running for this prize(picture above).I will draw this prize sometime Wednesday evening 28/9/2011.

Well off to the gym, will do some blog hopping and catching up when I get back.

Prizes for Fundraising for Lyndall online store and a bit of this and that

Hi all,I have lots of photos for you today.I did go out for dinner to a friends house Friday night,we had a wonderful time and had that yummy cheesecake.I had a much needed sleep in on Saturday due to the many nights of only 4 to 5 hours sleep a night,I woke up at 11.30am yes how late was that, but I obviously needed it.My friend Sue called to see if I wanted to come over with the other girls, have lunch and get more work done on Lyndall's fundraiser,so I went.We did some work on gift vouchers, goodies bags for the guests, slides for the auction and place mats with details of the night.I got there at about 1pm and we left at 9pm,a long day but we did get a fair bit done.Onto the next item, the above card I made with a dear friend a few weeks ago,we only really got the punched birds done and I completed the cards the following day......don't they look fabulous. We did get inspiration for these off someone else, but can't remember where, and I did change it a little. When I find out where I got the idea I will let you know.

Here is the cheesecake we had  Friday night,I did grate some white chocolate on the top.We had a lovely BBQ and a great night with some wonderful people.

Above are the parcels I received for Lyndall last week.Sandra Haws sent approx 30 cards to sell, they are so beautiful thankyou Sandra.Debbie Pamment sent the beautiful quilt she made to auction and it is even more beautiful IRL,there was also a card for Lyndall......the blue one and the pink one for me.Thankyou so much Debbie,I love my Debbie original and I could not help but sticky beak at Lyndall's card as it was not sealed(I did not read it)..........I hope you don't mind. The goodies above were sent in by Annette Bowes, thankyou Annette the cards you sent to sell are gorgeous and the goodie pack just amazing. There are so many people to thank and still more to come, these things above will not be going on the online store,so I am thanking them here on my blog.Other items will go into the store with the names of those who have donated them. Also thankyou so much to those that have already sent a card to Lyndall or are going to send a card,I am sure you realise how much your thoughts mean to Lyndall and her family.

Above are some of the prizes that you could win on the Fundraising for Lyndall online store. You will get one entry for every digi image that you purchase for eg if you purchase 2 images you get 2 entries,5 images you get 5 entries and so on.So why not hop on over to the store and check out the fantastic digi images for sale and be in with a chance to win some fabulous prizes.

More Punch Art

Good morning all,I have been having fun with some punch art the last few days and this is another I have been wanting to try.I have seen a similar card on a blogging buddies blog Kez at KB Papercraft, she makes wonderful Stampin'Up! cards. The scene from my one did come from someone else who went to a Stampin'Up! regionals meeting, but I can't give credit as they did not put their name on it.Mine is a little different though,I cut the grass with my silhouette, used the cuttlebug swirls embossing folder for the sky and put little googly eyes on the sheep.....just love that they move....lol....You can also see similar punch art cards at Splitcoaststampers here, you will have to go through alot of pages, but there are so many ideas on punch art.....have fun looking. Thanks for stopping by.

A Little Punch Art

Hi all,I'm back with some punch art and I loved making this little cutie.I have been wanting to make this card for months now and I finally did it.I saw this card on my blogging buddies blog 1,2,3...EasyPC and I just fell in love with it,just too cute for words.I am not sure who originally came up with this little sweet pea,but you can also see it here on Andrea Walford's blog and it also includes a tutorial.BTW the joys of casing cards,I love it that they are so quick to make, the brainwork is all done for you....lol.....Mine is a little different,I have added some little peas to the vine using 3d foam and I have also used the 3d foam on the head.Well that's it for today off to do some hopping and creating.......thanks for stopping by.

More Christmas Cards
Hello all,I am sorry I didn't get back on Saturday,I don't know about you but with all the entertaining and cardmaking for other people,I am struggling to get to my blog.I am also in the process of making two birthday cards that need to be finished by Wednesday,I won't be showing these as they are the same as what I have already made. They are the Martini cards and these are the last two,I have made about 10-12 over the last few months, the girls are all 18 and wanted the same card but different colours.I am so over making them now......lol......You can see the one I posted a while ago here.

This Santa card I made was a case from Dawn at My Stamping Thyme and I just loved it,it is the cutest Santa card I have seen.I used my scallop punch for the beard as I didn't have a small enough snowflake that I liked, but I am so happy with how it turned out.You can see Dawn's card here.Must go to the gym now and will catch up with you all later.

Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer................
Hello my lovely blogging friends, thankyou so much for waiting for me while I had a break, though I don't know that it was much of a break................I also had alot of cleaning to do.This is one of the Christmas cards I had to make,I have seen these on a few blogs with 3 Reindeers, but I wanted to make a standard card so I only put one Reindeer on and it had to be Rudolph.I don't know who came up with the original idea but I love it,they are so much fun to make.I have used Flowersoft and Stickles for the snow, and one of the large 9mm rhinestones that Kaisercraft have for Rudolph's nose.Well going to catch up on what you have all been doing, have a good day.

First lot of Invitations Done

Good morning all, these are the first lot of invitations complete......woohoo.....A friend of mine asked if I could make party invites for her twins 4th birthday,I said I could colour a clown image on them but she said to keep it simple and do balloons. The twins got to pick two of their favourite colours each for the balloons, well I had to make 30 of these little beauties.........which BTW look so much better IRL.Well when I started to make them it was then I realised I had to cut 120 balloons and 120 little triangles for the bottom, as well as 150 pieces of silver cord and then attach them all together........lol.......I had already completed 8 and it took me all day to do the other 22,in between seeing to my girls, especially the little one.You can't see,but I have popped the pink balloon up on 3d foam tape and I have also added a strip of magnet to the back so it can be placed on the fridge.I purchased this magnetic tape from Bunnings, it is sticky on one side and a magnet on the other,it comes in a 3 metre roll and you just cut it to the length you need.Well the baby shower invites are next. Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend.

One for the Kiddies
Good evening everyone,I hope you have all been well.I have been busy yet again,a friend of mine requested 50 Christmas cards so I am working on some simple designs,so they will be fairly easy to put together.Though, when you are doing that many it never really is simple....lol....I was also asked to make a 1st birthday card for a boy,I spotted these little Sesame Street characters on many blogs a while ago and thought this would be so cute for a little one year old,and I had so much fun making it.I don't know who originally came up with the idea, but thankyou so much for sharing,I love them and they do look so much like the real characters....lol...If you want to make any punch art cards, have a look here at Splitcoast Stampers they have so many different ones,I think I will also be making a few different ones.I will be taking my cards to a craft market in October,so they will be some fun ones to take.Have a great day and thanks for stopping by.

A Very Quick Birthday Gift

Good morning all, this is something I had to make on Friday night in about 2hours.You see,my 11 year old daughter surprised me with a birthday invitation that afternoon, the party was being held on Saturday the very next day.Lucky for me,I had purchased quite a few of these necklace and earring sets, for just such surprises.Anyway,I was told by my DD that her friend liked the colours blue and purple and also liked flowers. There was no time for stamping, so some punching was done, a little gable box downloaded from the computer and printed onto cardstock, and a very simple birthday card and gift box were made.It is not something I would normally make as I do like to colour images, but the girls were really happy with it and to me thats all that matters. And I must say, it didn't turn out too bad for a rushed job.

Flower Pot Card
Well, its just gone lunch time here in Australia and I have been trying to get all of these photos in a row for my next post and I have done it.Though I am not sure if that is the way they will post, well we will see what happens.I first saw this card a couple of days ago on Danielle's blog and I just had to make one, they are so cute and so much fun to make.Danielle made tulips for hers, which I want to do next.If you would like to make one you can get the tutorial here.I also made a stand for the back so when you want to display it,it will be freestanding.I did make the stand larger than I wanted as you can see it past the flower pot,but not to worry as when it is being displayed the card is going to cover that, will keep that in mind for next time.If you click on the photos you should see a larger image,I hope......lol.........Well this is how the post is going to have to look, the layout changes when it is posted and looks different from what I see in the dashboard....lol....its driving me crazy.
Thanks for stopping by and have a fantastic day.Sorry if this comes up on your dashboard again,I was playing around with a signature,I now have one like everyone else. Thanks for the link Bev,I will put a link on my next post if anyone wants one, it is FREE.

Good Luck

Hi all,I hope you are getting some crafting in and enjoying your weekend. As I said last post I have been busy the last few days,I had some requests for cards and they had to be completed for the following day. This is one of the cards.I am really loving the rich Autumn colours at the moment,so I started out wanting to use these colours and the rest just fell into place.I have used my Retro flower punch, curled the bottom flower under and the top flower has been curled upwards.I have used roses from my stash and instead of cutting the stem,I have curled it around my small paintbrush. The idea came from Camilla's blog, she makes the most beautiful cards.Kaisercraft has also got some new coloured pearls,I am not sure how long they have been out but I loved the colours and purchased some a few weeks ago.Well, this is the first card that matched the pearls, you can't see them very well but they are a chocolate colour. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your weekend.
