New Paper Flowers-Eileen Hull/Sizzix

Oh you guys are going to LOVE
Eileen Hull's new Spring line of Sizzix Dies!

Paper Flower Party a Sizzix Collection from Eileen Hull
I used this awesome flower for my project and I LOVE it!

Sizzix Bigz Die - Flower, Heart & Soul
This is the Heart & Soul flower

1. Cut flowers using the Heart & Soul die. Paper used is Graphic 45 World's Fair.

oops! I got a little carried away!!!!

 2. I used Eileen Hull Color Blends - Nutmeg to add distress look on edge of the pedals

3. I found this owl at Michael's in the kids craft area. I traced around the owl and adhered the paper to the owl using Beacon 3-in-1.

4. The flowers were stacked using 2 large, 2 mediums, 2 small. How to stack....large add pop dot to center and add 2nd large on top, adhere 2 mediums and 2 smalls using Beacon 3- in- 1 adhesive. I adhered a vintage sequin on top of small pedal, added a gem on top of that.

Check out those eyes!

Last I adhered this gorgeous owl to a small memo board for small notes.

Finished piece. I used push pins and adhered sequins onto them to make the push pins super cute!

Bonus......Remember I got carried away making flowers?

This is what I did with them!!!!

***Disclaimer....To make this a 10 minute project, you must know where everything is!!! LOL!

Take along color box with paper and crayons!

Materials Needed:
6" X 12" Card stock
Mat board - Sizzles Mat board is what I used
Button
Crayons
Plain Card stock

Tools Needed:
Die Cut Machine - I used Big Kick
Glue Dots® Lines
Glue Dots® Ultra thin
Easy Cut Adhesive - sheets

Let get started............Have everything ready to start

 1. Adhere the Easy-cut Adhesive sheets to your 6" X 12"

2. Once both sheet are adhered pull top sheet off and lay mat board over your adhesive and smooth over to make sure it is adhered nicely.

 3. Using the Recipe Box Die, run it through the die cut machine.

4. Adhere side with Glue Dots® Lines or Glue your choice! Put together.

5. Adere Velcro onto the inside of lid and box. Adhere button using Glue Dot® Ultra thin or glue.

 6. Die cut plain paper for inside your box using Recipe Card & label die. Cut as many sheets as you would like.

December Art with Heart - Favorite Things!

Are you ready for Christmas?

I for one am NOT! I think this is the first year that I am not ready at all! I swear last time I looked at the calendar it was October! How is it that November flew by and now it is a few days before Christmas?

Well..........
Tis’ the season for a new Art with Heart Challenge! December is “Favorite Things” and we want you to play along!  This month is essentially anything goes.  Just share your favorite things whether it be a die, paint, ink, color or project.

So My favorite die is.......

Sizzix ScoreBoards XL Die - Blocks/Cubes, 3-D

You may ask why and I will tell you why. It is because I can use it for so many things.
Just watch and see!
So for today's project I used the 3D Blocks/Cubes
Little Sizzles Mat board
Using my Big Kick I cut all my pieces out
I adhered all my paper on
I used a Tim Holtz Die to die cut the word Joy on the largest block
All pieces are now ready to be put together
Once put together - I die cut some feet for my tower. I used Eileen's new Sewing box die. I love the feet/base on it and am using them on so many projects.
Once I attached the base I used some distress ink and adhered some snowflakes. I added a knob at the top. In the bottom block I added a
battery operated candle.
Using the same die I have made these projects and that is why this die is one of my favorites!
 Christmas gift box/keepsake

Valentines tower filled with candy
Halloween tower

All of these are made with the same die! And that my friends is why!

Please join us in this month's Art with Heart challenge! It's is so easy to join and just show us your favorite die, paint, paper anything!

Thanks for stopping by!

I am signing off until after CHA! I will be back in January.

Merry Christmas and have a safe and wonderful New Year!

Art with Heart November Challenge Introducing Sizzix Stitchlits | Eileenhull.com
I decided to use a new embossing folder - Sew Happy!
You can see it HERE
Emboss your paper and pick out your Embroidery floss! It is as easy as that!
All you have to do is get comfy in a chair in front of the TV and stitch away!
This is SEW relaxing!

I used crossed stitch and straight stitch. Nothing to fancy.
I do recommend to use two threads. I tried three and it did tend to rip the paper a bit.
Once your done you can frame or make it into a card! This would be great to give to give as a card to that quilter or sewing friend! They would cherish it for sure!

This was so relaxing! I am going to have fun with this line!

I also have been playing with Eileen's new Stitchlit flowers and hoop! Oh my!
Sew fun! Using fabric and paper is so fun! How cure is this!!!!

You can check out the entire Stitchlits Collection HERE and be sure to check with your local retailers about Stitchlits and other Eileen Hull Dies!

Art with Heart Challenge August "Choose Your Own Theme"

My choice was this die
Place Card & Flowers #657722 you can find it HERE

I thought this was the PERFECT size to make treat bag toppers!

This was soooooo easy and fast!

Any holiday, birthday or just a treat to make someone's day!

Just melt some Wilton's Candy Melts in the microwave. Dip or drizzle over pretzels, lay on parchment or wax paper to cool. Once cool, just add 10-12 per bag. The bags are 4" X 6".
They have many colors to choose from! I just happen to have yellow!

Once in the bag I stapled two small staples using Tim's tiny attacher. EASY RIGHT?
I do this because I don't like the staples to show on the toppers.
To attach the toppers you just run your tape runner on each side of topper and press over bag.

Now here is where we use the Place Card & Flowers die

I choose some different papers to show you that just this one die can cover holidays and birthdays, baby showers and so much more!

They are cut out and here is where you could go wild to decorate them!
You do not need to use the flowers if you don't want to, you can add so many other decorations.

Here I am trying to choose what to use

This one here I used the Place Card and the Flowers!
It's Cute!

I know the yellow is not very Christmas like, but I wanted to show you an example of Christmas!

Next is Halloween and I know many of us LOVE Halloween in a spooky kind of way!
So I had to make one for Halloween!

As much as I love Halloween......I LOVE this OWL using the Place Card die!

He is a piece of wood that I just colored with my Derwent Inktense colored pencils and then blended the colors with Gamsol. I love him!

All of these with just one Place Card & Flower die!

Just think you could do party favors and Place cards all from the same die! Baby showers and birthdays, Easter.......I think you get the idea! Oh gosh.....turkey's and candy corn!

Thanks for stopping by! I really hope you like my idea on how to use this die in a few different ways!

Please enter for out challenge, you know you want to! Right now we only have 3 entries!
