On our way to a B & B

Here we are last year at our favorite local tea house. I sadly say, it closed this January. The economy up here is a tough one. However, Sissy and I have fond memories of this tea house. She loved sitting by this window...you could see the flower garden from there. It was a beautiful old home remodeled into a tea house.

Sissy and I are headed to a B & B this week! Yep, just the girls...how fun it will be to have this time together.

My give away now closes on Friday night, the 10th. Sissy will draw a name on Sat. morning. (sorry to be so old school, you know, little slips of paper) She told me she wanted to choose the winner. If you want to enter, leave a comment on my last post. I'm off to Amish Country for some of that homemade pie, shopping and to sit a spell with Sissy and a cup of tea.

Going to a tea room?

Remember my friend that I sat with literally for hours in a tea room? Well, we have plans to visit a different tea room tomorrow, but Old Man Winter might have other plans! My area is under a winter storm warning. UGH! Didn't Old Man Winter see my planner and know he is not welcome during afternoon tea?!
