Niagara Falls Part 2

If you stay in New York, it is actually faster to walk to Canada across the bridge than to queue in your car. See how short the line is...that's Hubby holding my purse! What a fella! As you see the views are amazing from the bridge too. You will find this sign on Rainbow Bridge. It says: International Boundary Line. Canada is on the top right and United States on the left.

Hubby is thinking...that's a long way down. See how he's holding on!

This is the Rainbow Bridge. Part of the American Falls is on the right.
Oops, out of order...this is Niagara, Canada. It was taken at the top of the Falls during an afternoon walk.
Here is Canada's skyline from the bridge. Notice the building on the right, the Skylon. (more on that next time) The "blurry spots" are actually mist.

Here you can see both Falls. I was standing on Rainbow Bridge, walking back to New York at the time; it was simply breath taking. You could feel the mist hitting your face too...very nice on a warm day.

What beautiful pictures! I have never been but promise to one day! One of the many things I want to see when hubby retires! Enjoy your day! Your husband is very nice to hold your purse and have his picture taken!

I popped over from Aunt Di's blog since I saw your header on Niagara Falls. I just had to look since we went there for the first time last July.

My Hub had a Railroad Convention there and we stayed on the Canada side at the Sheridan On The Falls on the 20th floor! We had spectacular views of the Falls lit up at night as well as the fireworks displays!

I did things on my own while he was working like the Maid of the Mist, Journey Behind The Falls, White Water Walk, Spanish Aero-Car and then the next day I did the Whirlpool Jet Boats out of Niagara On The Lake. The Jet Boat was the highlight!

I would go back again in a heartbeat! Have you ever heard of the incredible but true story of Roger Woodward? He was only 7 years old when he accidentally went over the Falls and was rescued by the Maid of The Mist! His older sister was plucked out of the water right before she would have been swept over! It is an incredible story!

I have my pictures in the Archives from July 14-21, 2008.

Thanks for bringing back some lovely memories for me!
