Not a card!!

Happy Thursday bloggers.

I have a wall hanging to share today. It's my DT piece for

where the new challenge starting today is

Your Favourite Not A Card (remember to tell us why)

Here's mine...

...a wall hanging. It still requires the same planning and design as a card but you get to hang it on the wall and look at it all year round. This one is actually in my kitchen to remind me how lucky I am to have a loving family (skin and fur!!), a beautiful home and good health.

I used grey board as the base, covered in white linen card then a black mat covered with cheap and cheerful Hobbycraft paper. I used a stencil for the tag and used white ink on the Inkylicious stamp. As it won't be going anywhere near a post box I went to town on the elaborate button/bow ensemble...I do love doing these. I even included some lace and pearls for a bit of interest and Sue and Lucy, see if you can spot your contributions!! Thank you muchly!! xx

You got my heart

Hello and welcome!! Yay, we are within touching distance of the weekend and the rain has gone again so all is well with the world. The fields were just about drying out and then Wednesday came and they were like a quagmire again...never mind...spring will arrive in the UK eventually!!

Anyway, I am actually here to shout about

and have this little beauty to share, she is called You got my heart

I coloured her with Promarkers to match the papers that came from Hobbycraft on my most recent expedition!! I fussy cut her and then mounted her on a die cut heart and adhered to the acetate panel.

The sentiment was stamped on the inside of the card as you can see a bit clearer here.

If you are a fan of cute and clean images I urge you to go and take a look, Naz has an array of lovely images for you to work with and is also happy to sponsor challenges.

The current EASTER challenge details are here on the blog.
