Spruced Up Greetings with Viva Las VegaStamps!

Today on the Viva Las VegaStamps! Blog I share with you some beautiful new stamps for winter scene building and create some resist and background coloring techniques with them as well! The slick surface of the Kromecote card stock allows Distressed Inks to float on the surface of the card stock when it is spritzed, creating some fun texturey backgrounds!

Hop on over to the Viva Las VegaStamps! blog to see the full details and find out more product information!

Thank you for looking I hope you enjoyed my tips!

Be sure to stop by the blog next week too as the team celebrates the whole week with the new December Daily plate!

VLVS! All Hallow's Eve Party | Day 7

Happy Saturday and welcome to the last day of the Viva Las Vegastamps! week long celebration of Halloween. Viva Las Vegastamps has tons of Halloween related stamps including some amazing new plates of stamps--which I'm working with here. During this week there will be fun games to play, some voting to do and some prizes to be won. Hop on over to the Viva Las Vegastamps Blog to learn about all the details. There is a link up below to keep you on track of all the great designers in the hop! Be sure to check daily!
Today I made a fun texurey ATC by building a base of string and tissue paper with Crystal Lacquer. I inked up Kromecote and stamped Frankie, the moon and the sentiment with Black Paris Ink and heat embossed them with the High Gloss EP. I bubbled up some lacquer on the background for some addd texture and  fussy cut out Frankie and the moon, and block cut the words adding them to the card with Lacquer and foam tape.

 For this project:
 distressed inks
black ink [Paris Trunk Ink]
tissue paper & string

Rubbed Mica Distress with Viva Las Vegastamps!

One of my favorite zentangle-inspired artists is my Viva Las Vegastamps! teammate Sandra Strait. She has a fabulous new release of rubber stamps with Viva Las Vegastamps! I'm so excited. Today I created a notecard with her new tangled background stamp using my Rubbed Mica Distress technique that I explain over at the Viva Las Vegastamps! blog. Check out Viva Las Vegastamps! for the perfect elements to create this cool project!

Thank you for looking!
